    HG is the only narc that has never annoyed me. Usually I see it within two minutes and can't stand the person. My mom is a narc so I'm sensitive when I see it. Maybe because HG is intelligent, self aware of it and hes hilarious. His dry sense of humor kills me. He would be the best person to sit next to at a party ish talking about everyone.

      As someone who was ensnared at the age of 19 by someone in his 30s, I wish your son does not fall into the trap and the ORMV's can return. My luck came when I went to study abroad and the contact became less and my cousin got hold of my phone. Fast forward I was saved. I was the IPSS in that dynamic. It has forever changed me. This happened 10 years ago. My mum and I had a very close relationship and she told me she was noticing me drifting away and was very irritated at everything and everyone. The time when the narc was in silent treatment I used to be depressed and always trying to get back to our "normal". I pray for both of you having been victim myself at that age.

    I, like many others, have always believed Henry’s jousting accident in 1536 provides the explanation for his personality change. He went from a sporty, promising, generous young prince, to a cruel, paranoid and vicious tyrant.
    Records reveal that after the accident he was unconscious for two hours (even five minutes of unconsciousness is considered to be a major trauma today).
    Science has proven that damage to the frontal lobe of the brain can definitively result in personality change.

At first I was not so fond of the idea of HG talking to all these content producers - - many of whom I subscribe to and support - comment on regularly. Because He Can Be Cutting and Has a Potential to Sometimes Be Very Cunning - - I felt protective of these less seasoned individuals - - but everyone has been able to keep their own perspective while engaging with the ULTRA and HG has treated them with respect. The conversations are interesting and it's a good thorough conversation about the principals of Meg's narcissism and aspects of her frustrating and annoying and overly produced behavior that is continuously getting airplay via media outlets on a slant - - the real RUclips Creators are the ONES that UNCOVER the NONSENSE and Show Receipts. Another well managed conversation, HG. FYI, In the US Constitution, Article I, Section 9, Clause 8, we have the Foreign Emoluments Clause which prohibits anyone holding any title of nobility from a foreign government from holding any elected office in the US. The only way TOW could hold any elected office in the US is by giving up all royal titles AND giving back all of the money, gifts, etc. that she has gained from those titles. I very much doubt that she would ever do that.

    • @Recollectionsmayvary13
      @Recollectionsmayvary13 2 месяца назад +5

      I actually have a few videos about that. The Foreign Emoulments clause doesn't stop her from holding political office. It prevents her from getting a title while IN office. The bigger concern is the potential fight with the SCOTUS if she challenges the accepted practice. Eisenhower became president with a title.

    • @missanne2908
      @missanne2908 2 месяца назад +1

      Sorry, but you are misreading the clause you mentioned:
      and no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of Congress, _accept_ of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.
      The key word is accept, not hold. For a real life example, President Eisenhower accepted a number of knighthoods from different countries before he became president, and he was not forced to relinquish them. It only pertains to emoluments the officeholder accepts while in office, and not to anything he or she accepted prior to being in office. Even then, you are able to accept titles if Congress consents. In any event, the title Duchess of Sussex is only a courtesy title, the peerage is held by Harry alone. The only barrier to MM's holding a title in office is that of public opinion, since most Americans do not understand the emoluments clause.

    To me Henry 8 was a supreme monster. The devastation of our architectural heritage and the more grievous damage of a religious bloodbath just so he could be head of the church and intimidation and martyrdom. The way he discarded Catherine of Aragon who was loved by the English people for her generosity to the poor. The way he condemned to death a young girl one of his later wives who many believe now was groomed by men from when very young and the terror he inflicted on the wives he sentenced to death. Appreciate this conversation regarding ongoing worry about an ensnared loved one. My biggest concern for Harry is his apparent escape into substance abuse.
    Substances will prevent him clearly seeing his surroundings and bar the door to problem solving. If he comes off substances he'll need about six months to a year for his body and mind to clear. Only then can it begin to dawn on him that an objective assessment of his life and course correcting is even more challenging than getting clean.
    At this juncture, best case scenario would be for TOW to dump him. But the longer she allows the public to get a good look at her the more her options shrink and the more she needs to acquire character traits from the man she's destroying. Its a fucking tragedy.
    For Harry and his children's sake, I hope something knocks them all off the path of trundling along unhappily ever after.

    IMO - it's infuriating to watch this one's wife continue to get away with what she is doing. Most of us intellectually understand the "why" (she is a narcissist afterall) but she is a harmful person and potentially dangerous if allowed to continue down her current tragectory. Not all narcissists are this dangerous.

    You make a good point about not paying attention to Meghan & Harry anymore …scrolling on by & not clicking on stories, HG. I have to be honest & tell you I think we’d all be a lot better off if we chose to do that.
    Having said that though… my interest in trying to evaluate Meghan Markle led me to you, HG.
    And I LEARNED so much about narcissism from you … I already knew some of it because I spent from the time I was 10 years old to 17 years old … in the clutches of a narcissist stepmother. Your videos have helped me process it all & what happened to me & helped me put my bad memories in the past.
    Also, I listen to many of your other videos on a daily basis. Your series on Lucy Letby was incredible.
    Meghan & Harry are still like watching a train wreck in slow motion. I keep wondering IF Harry will ever escape her. He’s still demanding apologies from the Royal Family for her, still wanting armed security to protect her from imaginary threats. He’s still touring with her, trying to help her create the phantasmagoric public image she convinced him she was. And getting disrespected & humiliated by her at every outing.
    I wish peace & recovery for His Majesty King Charles. And the same for HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales. The Royal Family is doing the right thing by disengaging from Meghan entirely & giving Harry the cold shoulder, too.
    Great video, HG. Thank you for your great work.

      He stayed friends with Anne of cleaves. The one he called horse face. Got her a very nice big house, servants and money. He only killed two of his wives for adultery ( lol im not saying that's normal. It still happens in extremist religions). They other ones died naturally or he divorced. Then he died when still married. He had one son with a mistress but he died at 15. Henry could have gotten tons of mistresses prego and the males would be legit to be king. I wonder why he just didn't do that. He was a jerk to Mary and Elizabeth both. People of the future are lucky. They could look at all the video of people and historical moments. It would be.fascinating to be able to see him and hear his voice. Im sure a lot of propaganda we know would be so different.

    • @fabulousnewt770
      @fabulousnewt770 2 месяца назад +10

      She didn't persuade him. The Lutheran teachings were widely known at the time and it played to Henry's vanity. If anyone had influence it was the scheming Cromwell. By leaving the Church of Rome, no longer were his hands tied by the Pope, he became Supreme Head of the Church on earth and through the desecration of the monasteries and cathedrals became the richest King and greatest landowner in England's history. To suggest Anne had that much power is frankly ridiculous.
      By separating from Rome he could divorce Catherine and marry her. As if any woman, or man for that matter had power over that physcopath is to not understand the matter.
      Only Cromwell could manage him, and look what happened to him in the end..all because he encouraged him to marry Anne of Cleeves.
      Not even the best historians can entirely see what caused Anne Boleyn's sudden downfall, which happened in a matter of weeks, tho Cromwell was instrumental in it and Henry was on to his next infatuation, but Anne Boleyn, which ever way one looks at it, outside The Tudors and Phillipa Gregory novels, was one of the most wronged people in England's Royal history.

    Thank you, HG. I think Henry was a narcissist per excellence. Our Beef Eater guide at the Tower of London told a little tale that was both heart wrenching and indicative of what a terror he was. We forget the ages of these women. Catherine Howard was only 15 when he sentenced her to the Tower for her execution. We were shown the room where she sat for 2 weeks, her window and only view the place where she would be beheaded. I was very emotional where Ann Boleyn was beheaded as well, a clear glass cushion on a pedestal stood in the pouring rain as we heard the story of how she was falsely accused and lost her head too. I wish you would do a series on this particular era for us. Even if Harry were to have options, he would not kill TOW. He may dream about her not existing anymore, but not at his own hand, I can almost guarantee that.

    First of all, Henry and Harry were foul-tempered, narcissistic, red-headed Spare.
    Anne was betrayed by the powerful men in her family. She went to Hever twice, hoping Heney would find someone else. Her Uncle Norfolk and her father made bank off her back.
    Yes, after seven years, she did get some attitude. However, she was extremely pious and held him off six years. Yes, when the Pope wouldn't grant the divorce she introduced Henry to the Protestant church so he could grant his own divorce. (Pretty narcissistic to make yourself "Supreme Head of the Church of England Only Under Jesus Christ!).
    What really went wrong for Anne is two-fold. First, she promised Henry a son. She had Elizabeth and then three miscarriages of sons. Just like Catherine, who had a son that only lived a brief while, a girl, and five miscarriages. He had gotten a Papal Dispensation to marry Catherine because she was married to his brother. He conveniently found another verse that said, paraphrasing, "whoever sleeps with his brother's wife, uncovers his nakedness, and they will have no sons." Henry had an affair with Anne's sister Mary, and had for sure one, and probably two children. But, he couldn't use that again because it hadn't worked for the divorce.
    Secondly, Henry has a hideous jousting accident early in 1536. He was unconscious by many contemporary sources for two hours. I would imagine there would be brain swelling for a while. The stress of the accident caused Anne to miscarry her third son. That's when he snapped and sent her to the tower. But, he had to have a good reason so he said that she had an affair with 4 men at court, and to make sure it stick, incest with her brother. Oh, abd that she had been a witch that caused his obsession for 10 years with her.
    So, to conclude she was executed for not giving him a son (probaly Kell's disease), and, likely because he had a traumatic brain injury literally days before he had her sent to the tower.
    The cool part is that his precious son only ruled six years, Mary I five. Elizabeth, Gloriana, ruled 45 years and ushered in the "Golden Age." I hope he saw it from Hell.
