- Former MEP Steven Woolfe says the ‘elites’ in charge of migration “should hang their heads in shame”.
More migrants embarked on the perilous Channel crossing a day after 12 people died attempting the journey but 300 made it to UK shores.
French interior minister Gerald Darmanin reportedly called for a UK-EU migration treaty to curb crossings in the wake of the tragedy.
Dozens of migrants continued to make the journey on Wednesday, with more people pictured being brought ashore in Dover, Kent, amid calm weather conditions at sea.
Steven says: “If they’re not willing to protect the people of this country properly, then get out of the way, leave, retire!”

The UK could learn a lot from Japan, the people have quite a lot in common with the British, especially with regards to wanting their country's heritage being protected.

There was no women and children on that boat and there is absolutely no evidence to suggest there was. I watched a recent expose on the camps in France and the guys who went under cover saw a total of 2 women the entire time they were there, and NO children. The media are lieing to us once again.

And still, no one in government seems to give a once of thought to how this is effecting the people that live on the streets day in and day out, in my area I have watched as small towns now have tents pop up and women and kid afraid to go out after dark. Immigration wasn't the cause of the collapse of the strongest economy in Europe/EU. A major factor was the loss of cheap reliable energy from Russia. Far more expensive US LNG raised production costs so Germany lost its edge on the global market. China filled that gap so German manufacturers invested in China. Germany is in the throes of being deindustrialised so many firms are either moving abroad or closing down. This has had an extremely negative effect over the whole economy not just for Germany but the EU. The rest of what Steven said is absolute nonsense. If Corporations are losing money they will simply up-sticks and move to the US.
