Brad Dourif plays the stranger in the video. He would go on to play in quite a few films including the 1984 movie Dune. What's interesting is the lead guitarist, song writer, sometimes lead vocalist of Toto Steve Lukather (also considered one of the greatest guitarists ever) composed the music for the movie Dune. I wonder if that's where they met and a couple years later thought of him when visualizing this video. One of my favs from Toto and I always liked this video.

Remembered that this song and video took its inspiration from the film Whistle Down the Wind (1961). Finally tracked it down and watched it. Even though Hayley Mills is great in it, this video takes it up several notches. Brad Dourif is just awesome and makes this something truly memorable and great. The song should have been a much bigger hit. Toto rocks.

Remembered that this song and video took its inspiration from the film Whistle Down the Wind (1961). Finally tracked it down and watched it. Even though Hayley Mills is great in it, this video takes it up several notches. Brad Dourif is just awesome and makes this something truly memorable and great. The song should have been a much bigger hit. Toto rocks.
It's a great song and video, but it's a bit silly to pretend this video is better than the film. The film is an actual classic.

TOTO is one of the most underrated bands from the 70's and 80's. This song is a masterpiece. I listened to it from the first time 2 months ago and now it's one of my favorite songs.
