Ive had the wolverine v2 for 3 years. Its the only controller ive ever used thats lasted even past a year without some sort of issue. Finest controller ive ever used. But now we have magnetic joysticks for no stick drift and faster response which is now where i will probably end the razer controller journey and move to a gamesir one
@kevdecimates2158 the original v2. After 3 years the right bumper, A and X buttons barely work. Yet by some divine miracle there's no stick drift after 3 years
I had problems out the box with the TE, the right stick mechanically leaned to the left so it meant I kept getting stick drift. Also, I picked up the controller and kept pressing the back buttons like you. I wasn't gonna put up with it, luckily Razer was good with the return.
I beam on this roller wheather it be cod or apex and honestly the best thing to do is turn off double deadzone I notice more stick drift at 3% with it on when I take off double deadzone it is so minimal or not there try this out and as for buttons no issues yet and I’ve had when it first released and the calibration does work depends where you point the stick and direction you rotate similar to gamesir g7 I notice depending how you rotate sticks is depending which way the drift goes
I ordered the pro and it seems to be fine, everyone who says there’s stick drift.. no shit. On ANY controller a thumb stick NEEDS to have some sort of play to it, otherwise it would be too stiff to move the thumb stick. It is VERY minor.. I found that if you turn down sensitivity in game a tiny bit by like 1, use 0 dead zone in the app, then use 1 dead zone in bo6 or any cod, dynamic response curve, 6 sens, 0.80 low zoom. I’m might just be certain batch that are faulty. PS: This controllers dead zone is the most sensitive I’ve ever used, I’ve used 2 elite series 2s 2 g7 se And one standard Xbox controller.
Hey man, how does the v3 compare to the g7 se? I’m looking at getting the Razer because it’s premium and has some really nice features but everyone says the g7 se is just a snappier and more reliable controller. Since you have had both, any chance you could give me some thoughts? Thanks!
I just purchased this controller, and after a day of using it, im not sure how i feel. They removed the ability to calibrate manually. I am not a fan of the high stick tension Currently have it at 1-1 deadzone and 0 on cod Should i return it and just get a gamesir g7 se for now until something better comes along
Never buy Razer products from the first batch. Just wait and buy later after 3months+ from initial release- always QC issues, no matter the price. This even happened with the Viper V3 Pro!
Hey can u do a review about FUSION Pro 4 Wired Controller? also have hall effect. I was planning to switch my gamesir g7 to this new razer because I like the hall efect joystick but with 4 paddles but since I saw ur review now I'm gonna stay with my gamesir
This a lot later... For sure my dude. Calibrations are not even available anymore 😅 they removed that function. For the centering part of the sticks you needed to put the controller on flat surface for best results, smack the controller a bit (very gently) and then close the calibrations. But yeah I don't feel this controller being that good anymore.
😂 I know. I used the gamepad app to center the stick. It looked good but eventually came back again. Calibration might of caused more problems for them then.
I bought one a few weeks ago and haven’t been able to get the buttons set on the back because it won’t recognize when it’s in “Xbox mode” on the Pc app. What a joke. Luckily I bought it at Best Buy and I can return it.
Razer Customer service is genuinely one of if not the worst CS I've EVER had to deal with. I had a basic issue with my Viper mini signature edition M2 button loosening over time(warranty is included) They gave me the run around for months, messaging back and forth while they essentially refused to give me a proper RMA link because the first rep I talked to mis-spelt my email by ONE letter, genuinely couldn't make this stuff up. In the end I just did some research and bought the correct screwdrivers and fixed it myself...
I hate when companies do this. The only company I've had a great experience with (controller related) was scuf. I had two cases where they just shipped me a new controller. These other companies need to take notes.
Mine disconnects if I slightly move it whilst playing on Xbox, like the USB C is coming out but it’s still in, sometimes I can turn it back on but sometimes it just won’t for a few minutes. I really like the button feels and everting else but they should have made the wire connected to the controller and not detachable. Razer support is really awful and slow.
I have heard of this problem. Have you tried a different USB c cable? Yup it took razer to initially reply to my email about 5 days. I also called before hand and they tried to walk me through fixing my controller. Honestly it seemed like they didn't want to or weren't going to replace my controller.
Dude I have this same problem and it really pisses me off. It’ll disconnect because of the slightest micro movement and sometimes it’ll just desync despite being a WIRED CONTROLLER and then it’ll turn off.
I have my dead zones in the Razer app set to 5% then on cod I have it set to 0% and I don’t get any stick drift at all if I have it set to 0% in the Razer app I will get a bit of stick drift around 1% to 4%
@kevdecimates2158 September 13th The only thing that happens sometimes it's starts to mimic a mouse, but do you think you got a defective one by any chance? You might like the Turtle Beach stealth controller. I have that one as well. I'd say that the buttons are more reactive.
I have the pro version. No stick drift but i do have issues with it and I’ll point it out. I find the joysticks too concave snd it makes it gard to aim in halo infinite competitive, no joystick variants for sale, the grip handles are too thick, i find my hand hurting after long sessions of play only my left hand. Ither than that controller is great but needs to be redefined. Aldo paddles placement could go a bit higher like every other pro controller

crazy how some companies sell "pro controllers" for 100+ when their competitors sell better products on half the price and even lower price than the stock controllers (LOOKING AT GIMESIR) . Like if gamesir make a 4 back buttons g7 he getting anything else would be chasing aesthetics as far as xbox rollers go
Wouldn't recommend this controller to anyone. It's impossible to be accurate because the tension is so tight on the sticks. The trigger stops aren't the best either, but the 4 back buttons and the 2 front buttons are placed perfectly though. Shame really had a lot of potential.
Man I wish this controller was better I returned it for this exact reason those stick were just not it for me and I couldn’t get used to the shape which really sucks cause those back buttons were amazing
Look into the Vader pro 4. It's 70$ and you can buy a Brook converter for 40$. It's definitely the best all around controller I've tested. Plus the converter opens the door to so many Chinese controllers that have more features and higher quality.
