I just adore and appreciate how genuine you are consistently 👏👏🫶❣️!! Ok, so my question is: Am I the only person who thinks the MAC paint pots are extremely DRY 🤔?? First time I purchased it I thought I had gotten an expired one, so I purchased another one (different shade) and same results 😕🤷♀️. As for concealers,the “ND Hy-Glam Serum Concealer” (set w/Pat McGrath translucent under eye pressed powder) for my 58 , textured mature under eyes is perfection 👍👌💖!! The Tower 28 is my second favorite for when I want a day to day lighter coverage 😊!!
Thank you, Lynn! You're not the only one. I tried it on my sister-in-law and it was dry on her too. I wonder if it's the skin prep. Another viewer friend of mine found the same thing. She likes the Milani eyeshadow primer. It has more slip.
I forgot to mention the Natasha Denona concealer. It's not on sale here for us. Boo! I need to try the Tower 28 concealer. I had it in my cart and I moved it out because I'm unsure of the colour. I haven't tried the Pat McGrath powder. I need to try that one.
Love all your recommendations. I actually picked up pomelo peach 🍑 too and hibiscus haze. Love their blushes. Also picked up the yummy skin tint which I’m loving and the westman atelier pink bubble powder. For lipstick no one has been mentioning but the tatcha new lipsticks are beautiful ❤ and so hydrating

I'm 63, by the way...and I've got oily skin. It's been a real struggle finding something aimed for OILY but older skin! 😮💨

I go thru phases with eyebrow products, too. Not sure why? My tails are pretty thin, and my hair is light so I struggle to fill them in without going too heavy or dark…. I don’t have all the time in the world most days, so…

Right!? It's the light bare brows. They're a struggle. I loved the Kosas Brows Pencil but I can't find it anywhere.

@JulieMeikle I have slowly been buying replacements for my old makeup, and have been using both drugstore and higher priced brands. My last Sephora purchase was the Fenty concealer about a month ago. I'm tempted to try the Dior or Armani concealers, but since I only get 10% off, I can't really justify those now. I will go check out the Sephora Collection, though!

I did purchase the Natasha Denona “I Need a Nude” palette on their Spring Sale, for $89 🇨🇦. It took a couple of weeks to get here, but I did receive it. It’s just so beautiful! I’m not sure what I need on the Sephora sale, because every Thursday it’s Senior’s Day at Shopper’s Drug Mart and we can get 20% off. I’m having difficulty with translucent powders. I find no matter how much I prepare my face with moisturizer, sunscreen and primer before my foundation, my powder does tend to get a little caked. I have Laura Mercier, Hour Glass, Elf, and tarte powders, oh and doll10. They all get kind of cakey 😢. Any suggestions? I really like the rare Beauty Blush in Hope , and the Westman Atelier’s contour ,in biscuit . Have you ever tried PUR eyebrow pencils? They have a fine end and a thicker end , along with a very nice brush, quite nice. No matter what I put on my lips as a pencil or primer around my lips, my lipsticks all bleed. No matter what kind or consistency. Mascara.. I do like Lancôme and the Clinique High Impact Waterproof, with the Lancôme Lash Primer. I do use Revive7 on my lashes at night. But as far as foundations, I find my Holy Grail is the Estée Lauder Doublewear or Estée Lauder Futurist Recue Foundation. I have switched, but before long I always go back to Estée Lauder. I do like the new Estée Lauder Futurist Brightening Concealer as well. Thanks again for your video, I’m adding to my list for Sephora!🇨🇦😀❤️ oh and I do have a Dyson blow dryer and the DysonCorrale ( I got them both with my PC Points! ) I do find them both kind of heavy. They work well though.

I haven 't tried the Futurist Rescue Foundation. I should try it. My favourite powder is Haus Labs Bio Blur Powder. I use a light amount with a soft brush only where I need it. That's where my pores are larger beside my nose, in between my brows and my chin. Sometimes I'll dust it under my cheeks where I tend to touch my face more often. Remember if you use a powder bronzer/blush that is powder that will set your foundation so you don't need to ad powder there.
Are you getting cakey everywhere or in a specific area.
Julie, I just stopped using powders a few days ago, only use Setting Spray ,the O/S, it’s amazing! I don’t have the cakiness anymore.
Julie, I get Cakey where my glasses hit my cheeks and in my laugh lines. I do find the One Size Setting Spray does help. I will try the Haus Labs powder next. Thanks for your tips!😊🇨🇦💕

My eye is wishy washy. It's much better than it was but it seems to get droopy when it's tired. In my livestream with Nurse Chelsey, I could see my eye wasn't strong. I could feel it for sure but it was noticeable. Boo! I had put drops in before hand too. I don't know if they're dong anything but I keep trying.

Hi Julie, would you consider the MAC serumizer skincare or makeup preparation? My skin is dry, and I do not if it I should even bother to try it. I believe you use it just before makeup and not as your routine skincare, right? I am intrigued with the product, but have so many pre foundation prepping products. What’s your opinion?
Hi Cali!! You're right, I don't use it as my actual skincare routine. I have thinner serums that I use under my regular moisturizer of choice. I have been switching that up now and then too so I can try different brands. I always use a vitamin C serum in the morning. That's my main active for the day after I use my Paula's Choice Mandelic Acid. I'd like to try different products for that too but I have to use up what I have first.
I may play around with an essence here and there. I'm finding a few I like. That helps with hydration. I have the Tatcha Essence. It's the first one I've used that I've noticed a difference in my hydration. I'm sure there are more out there that aren't as pricey but so far it has been my favourite. I have found other brands more watery and my skin needs more.
If I've applied my skincare and start applying makeup right away, I don't need the Serumizer.
Can you tell me what products you're using from serums to sunscreen?
Julie in the morning, I use Transderma vitamin C oil-Skinfix Triple Lipid+Collagen Activing Serum-Dieux Auracle Reviving Eye Gel-Skinfix Triple Lipid Peptide Cream. In the evening I use Transderma Vitam A Retinol Smoothing Oil & Transderma Moisture Hydrating Oil-Skinfix Triple Lipid Peptide Cream-Biossance Squalene Ectoin Overnight Rescue Cream. Morning & Night Neck: Skinfix TLPeptide + Collagen Activating Serum & Lipid Peptide Cream (neck skin is SUPER sensitive & reactive!). Working well for me, but I am always looking out for the next better formula!? That’s where I get into trouble! Fixing something that is not broken! 😠
