  • This Grasshopper Tutorial for Beginners for Parametric Design we'll show you how to use Voronoi & Weaverbird plugin make parametric facade.
So, what will you learn in this new architecture tutorial for parametric architecture? And how to use Voronoi & Weaverbird.
First, we’ll show you how to use grasshopper 3d and rhino 3d to make voronoi structure on a box and turn it into parametric facade design using weaverbird plugin, to make parametric design, also called parametric modeling in this easy grasshopper tutorial.
Next, you’ll go through the grasshopper scripting process or grasshopper definition to apply this weaverbird facade on loft mesh generated by voronoi and finalize this parametric geometry that you can manipulate with number sliders. This is a great example of parametric design and parametric architecture.
Rhino is a 3d modeling software for architects and designers, and grasshopper is a plugin that is used for virtual scripting for parametric modeling and parametric design in architecture for creating parametric facade for building designs. weaverbird is component for grasshopper. This is also called computational design and generative design.
This is a grasshopper rhino tutorial and you will go through this rhino grasshopper scripting for 3d parametric design. Check out more architecture tutorials for grasshopper 3d and rhino 3d tutorials from our parametric architecture playlist. These lessons will take you from beginner in grasshopper/rhino to advanced level.

    Hi!
I wanted to ask if there's any way we can turn that mesh into a solid so we can use boolean commands to subtract areas??

hello sir,Im practising your tutorials, but the problem is sometimes u used plugin which I don't have ,so,if give a tutorial video on your all plugin it will be easier for someone like us who are totally new in Grasshopper. Thanks
