Thank you, its surprising how there isn't a polyfiber > clump combo video or article out there, was beginning to regret my purchases until I found this
Pretty ingenious concept. Gotta love it when our kids give us a great idea. You make it look easy creating the mold. Great video. I will definitely add this to my tools box for future use.
You could probably make for trees if you hang the "trunk" upside down while applying long static grass. That way the needles appear to be hanging when the tree is standing upright!
Those grape-vine pine trees make fairly convincing southern yellow pines, some sub varieties of which do have divergent trunks, unlike most pines and coniferous in general. I think where it really shines is the deciduous trees, they look truly stellar.
I had never considered using grape stems - perfect structure for a tree, not a pine, though. That's definitely a deciduous structure. Might could use a wrapping of wire on the main stem to stiffen the main "trunk", though. Easy enough to hide.
I love the ones with flock, the ones with grass are a bit too 'impressionistic' for my taste :P Clipping off the tops of the vine branches (the 'knots') would be a start to improving these in a very easy way. Nice work nonetheless, thanks for sharing!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT ah right haha! sort of do now that you mention it. Either way, I'm sure they look great in bunches and when playing whatever tabletop game, speaking of which, have you ever considered making some sort of gaming table as a project to show off? A gaming table either with built in terrain, or with modular pieces of generic terrain (hills and forest mostly i guess), for DnD but also warhammer and other wargames. Because I'd love to see how trees like this would look on an actual gaming table, and lots of them, to really overwhelm the player in atmosphere; sort of quality in quantity. I think that's the main selling point of these trees, especially because they are so easy to make. (I imagine those old White Dwarf magazine photos of big armies marching through forests and stuff - which is unpractical in reality when gaming, but it sells the game like nothing else. And it would make for an absolutely amazing thumbnail for a video ;P). Cheers mate!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT Awesome! I think you could reach a whole new audience with this, especially with Warhammer the Old Wold coming out this or next year most likely, there's gonna be a lot of new wargamers looking for inspiration
Brother I made these a wile ago a few tips make sure u have covered the whole grape stork with a vanish or watered pva or in a few weeks mold will start to come through my 1s were not that big 😅 but by the look at these they look amazing great for any fantasy games
Thank you for the heads up. Bluehost is my provider and I DO NOT recommend them. I need to migrate to a new provider. Working on it now. Thanks Torben.
Super Easy indeed, I am so adding tree's for my diorama doll project.
Awesome!!
*_A bonus effect is since the grape stems are not that stable, the trees move very easily on the board; giving them some life._*
The hardwoods definitely sway... the pines are pretty solid. Good catch!

Well I'm glad you found it as well.
I've seen a ton of tree tutorials and this is by far the easiest. Great job. I see some tree making in my future.
Awesome! Thank you!
So stinking cool. Never considered using those for trees. Nice work!!
Thank you !!!
Hey I did this a few months ago!! Glad to see it catch on
Those are a cool alternative to using the seafoam, and probably a bit more sturdy. Thanks John!
Thanks Zane!
My dad did this years ago and it came out awesome it’s a great idea!
Amazing! I have to make me some of those!
I figured these would be right up your alley.

Thank you Brad !
Right on, sensei! I’ll be eating more grapes in the near future!😂🥴 -Rick

So badass! I am going to try foam form my next mold I need to make!
Right on. Yeah it works really well.

Yeah, give it a go!
This is awesome! I need to try this method.
Definitely! Give it a shot! Thank you. :)
Another awesome and very applicable craft. So many detailed layer upon layer!
Thank you so much!
Grapes are $19/kg where I live. I guess they're definitely going to be a seasonal tree.

Thank you!! I thought about snipping them off, but I thought they looked like pine cones :)

Wow!! Another great idea! Thanks
You got it, thanks for watching!
Ok, I snort laughed at the farm to table crack. Nice.
Nice haha... :)
Nice. I am definitely trying this.
Awesome!!
Worth it for the “farm to table” Dad Joke alone 😂
lol, thanks :)
*_Ha! You are using a vibrator-of sorts-under the molds, that works great, don't you agree?_*
Yeah big time! Especially if the mix is a bit thick.
Charlie Brown called. He wants his Xmas tree back.
He can have one... I have plenty :)
Must admit. Really couldn't get to the root of this one. Had me well stumped, it did.
Did it now haha.... I'll try harder on the next one :)
Nice way to recycle 😊
Thanks :)
These look grape! I'll see myself out...
LOL
New Video Lets Goooooooooooooo Great work ty Boss !~!
Right on!
Missed the perfect opportunity to Salt Bae them leaves on
Did you think about dried tomato vine?
Hmmmm... now that's interesting... Thanks Paul!
How did you dehydrate the vines? Did you put them in a drying rack for like beef jerky or did you just place them in a dry and sunny place?
I put them in a dehydrator for about 12 hours. They get super solid.
the amazone link do not work it just say error 404
