Welcome Everyone to the Tactical Tavern! I am your host Tomas Alas and in this video we are reviewing the Cold Steel Rajah! This knife has been around for quite some time and is what I call a folding Kukri blade. Compared to normal pocket knives this thing is massive and what I would call a pocket chopper. Now obviously with a folding knife you want to make sure you are not over using it for anything it wasn’t intended to void the warranty but this being said… it can CHOP!!! I have used this for smaller tasks because it has a surprisingly great balance and you will certainly pick up on that if you are a martial artist. I even know some people who use this as their folding kitchen knife! The extra reach and heft make it a formidable self defense tool! If you do add this to your Everyday Carry you may wonder if this gadget can fit in your pocket… the answer is yes! This will fit standard jeans. Just be mindful it is certainly larger than a benchmade SOCP Dagger! In this video I also do a size comparison to a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 and Espada XL!

*They need to come up with an XL version of this. Like they have the Espada and Espada XL.*
*I bet people would by an XL version with an 8" or 9" blade.*

Cold Steel needs to lower the MSRPs, I'm not willing to spend 3 digits on a knife made in Taiwan or China.

I've had my Rahja2 for over 6 years. It was when Aus10 just came out in their knives. I thought I was getting Bd1,very glad I got what I did.
My Rahja2 I use for camping and outdoor stuff it's incredible. But it also hurts if you chop certain wood.
It's best to use it on green stuff. Use it like a machete.
Hardwood is better left to a ax or saw.
My favorite knife and the best design I believe is the large g10 Espada.
I love everything about it. Mine is a flat grind cts-xhp. I'm not a fan of hollow grind.
The large is absolutely perfect knife.
Being lefthanded I love the g10 model .
Coldsteel is still my favorite. GSM not so much.

you know you are possibly the only knife reviewer that reminds kukri folder buyers that this is not a machete. it is a knife for the same use as other knives. i just purchased a cheap kukri folder because, you know, and looked at reviews and almost all of them started talking about having a pocket kukri and pocket sword a hacking abilities and flipping the liner lock blade. i knew immediately that these peoples reviews were worthless and the blade hasn't even arrived yet. that is one reason i right away subscribed. good reviews with a good knowledge of blade abilities

I like that you called it a Pocket Khukuri, because that is what it is. I've not had mine for very long, and the only thing I've used it for, is breaking down cardboard boxes, and it does a great job. I love the weight and thickness of the blade. I've seen people on YuuTube use this knife to do light chopping and I mean nothing bigger then two inches across. I have carried mine a few times and its not bad. Bit bulky, but still I will be EDCing this knife more come summer.

Jeez man, why didn’t you choose ‘magician’ as a career option? You have that ‘quick talking and clean cut extra believable’ look.
    You would kill it!!🃏✨
    Just an idea.

I just receive mine and it is stiff when opening. Having opened and closed it about 20 times I can see a polished line appearing in the center of the parts that rub. I’ll be polishing mine down so that it works like the one that you have. Regardless, this is the most awesome pocket knife I have ever owned and I’m an old guy so I’ve had a few.

The Rajah 2 was literally made hack and chop... you obviously barely used yours and never watched anyones actual hard use reviews... its a giant tri-ad lock son its solid as it gets.

It’s still a folding knife… fixed blades will always be better for serious chopping projects I prefer the Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri- thanks for watching ⚔️

It is a folding Kukuri, it allways has been. It dont look like one, it is made too be a Kukri.
