I have this exact same jacket, copied your steps and it’s come out great, thank you 🙏
Awesome to hear Myles!
Thanks for taking the time to make this vid 🙏
I have the same jacket and it helped me understand how to clean it. Pre-treating with vinegar water will take your wash to the next level 😉
So glad you liked it Rotem! Great tip, thanks for sharing. We will try that next time 🙂
Thank you so much! I did it~ and it really fluffy❤
Washing down jackets is extremely nerve racking, but so worth it to have your jacket just like new when it's done. The down does clump when it's wet but magically comes back to life when it's tumble dried. Thanks for the vid. It's very confidence inspiring!
Thanks Chris! It's definitely not as scary as it seems 🙌
Great video. 👍
Hi, can you tell me the correct code name of the color for this nuptse jacket ?
I soap. Brushing &dry wipes with paper tower then hang on the wall. Let it dry. No machine.
interesting! thanks for sharing.
Could you explain your process using no machine ?
I dip my jacket in soap water and then I soak a soft big cloth piece in mild detergent and then I rub the very dirty places of the jacket with my hand and cloth slowly and softly and then once done I reverse the jacket inside out put it in a mesh bag and then put it in the wash cycle and then take it out and dry it in the sun in a hanger for 2-3 days inside out so that the water is completely dry and there is no mould formation later on... I am talking about less pricey synthetic jackets
Does the same procedure apply to designer body warmers
Hey there, I would assume so, but always double-check the label or check with the designer.
Thank you. I have not yet washed my down jackets, as i don't want to ruin them. Now I shall give them a wash. Cheers. :)
Glad we could help Steve! Good luck, let us know how you get on.
How is your yellow still so yellow, mines like almost greenish how do I fix it
you are adorable
What happens if you don't have the balls when you tumble dry?
Buy some before you wash the jacket. Alternatively, you’ll need to manually manipulate the clumps every 10 minutes as it starts to become drier.
I let mines air dry 😢
Is that no no ?
@@snokez2904yes because the clumps would still be there
Not to mention potentially setting yourself up for having mould/mildew within the natural filling, giving rise to that typical fusty damp smell.
I can’t be the only one who laughed at that Line 2:29
I used this it made my coat smell really bad
Hey there (it's Lauren from the video) - did you buy from us at Wild Earth? The product doesn't really have a fragrance to it so for me it smelt like nothing, just clean? Please let us know more details. Thanks for getting in touch!
