Unforgettable rdr can never be repeated this game had soul which none had i always travelled from mcfarlane ranch to armadillo and did bounty hunting there
Its sucks how rdr 2 time is alot more faster than rdr 1. I wish they longer the time so I can experience New Austin sunset longer in rdr 2 graphics. I used to play rdr 1 when I was like 10 or 12
I got it when I was 14 or 15, my first purchase for my Xbox 360. Totally blind too, I had watched some trailers but I was too "new to the internet" to check reviews and all that 😂It ended up being my favorite game. I played it for so many hours... It's funny how much a simple game could entertain me, I'd run around trying nonsensical things I'd never try to do now in modern games. Just enjoying every bit of that world, replaying the story over and over, and playing the online mode. Good times.
Thats how you know rockstar birthed a masterpiece. If it's imbedded itself into your memory after years, then I think it's safe to say that this will go down as one of the best things ever to be conceived by man.
I wonder sometimes if it was pure coincidence or by design, that two of the most iconic handguns of American history were adopted by the military in the years that John was born and died. In 1873 the Colt Single Action Army (the famous Peacemaker) was adopted. In 1911 of course, the famous m1911 Colt came to be. Just food for thought I suppose.
sometimes i whistle this and even i don't realise im whistling a masterpiece. I played this back in 2018, for about the second time since i last played it in 2013. I didn't even get the chance to complete it in 2013. The game was lost and i was sad. I finally went to the gamestop to get something else, and there it was. The case to Red Dead Redemption. I bought it, and drove home as fast as i could, and the first thing i did was sit down and play it. I completed the game after a month. From Macfarlane's Ranch to Dutch's Camp. All the while listening to this music. The music contained within the game captures the west more than anything else. and the best part is..This song only contains a violin, a piano, and a whistle. I hope there is a Red Dead Redemption 3 or atleast a DLC that's as long as RDR2. Both games were great. These games will forever be classics.
The fiddle, piano, and whistling are the featured "voices" in the arrangement, but the first thing you actually hear is a woodwind instrument that drones steadily throughout the duration of the piece. It also sounds like it's been looped with effects added, because the pitch warbles a bit, or possibly sampled and played on a synthesizer. Anyway, there's a droning sound buried in the mix that isn't piano or violin. You may need to listen with headphones to hear it.
this theme brings me something that I did not find in the 2 an emotion impossible to explain ....I have traveled the world in the dust with the moonlight as my only companion, so many bullets fired, so many miles unrolled under the carpets of stars and victims of armadilo in black water just me this music and the storm dawning in the plain in the distance ...... the time stops of breath is cut off Thank you rockstar.
My grandparents own a home 30 miles north of the border in Arizona. At night, whenever I visit, I play this song while smoking a cigar. Great nostalgia from RDR1 when it first came out
Movies and video games romanticize the Wild West a lot. Sure yeah the games and movies are awesome, but livin out there on the american frontier you have to be tough, not the same as sittin on a couch and pickin up a controller. But then again it’s the thrill of the adventure so who am I to say?
Warm water pouring down on me so the tears are hidden as my mind tells me to reach for the iron, but the hand refuse to do so. The day was hot and my love is gone, the body is tired and my lips taste bitter. Still, I will walk through the valley of shadow
I bet no one knows who she is, but I know and I'll tell, she's called Luísa Fortuna and I don't say anything else, play rdr1 and you already know more about her.
That sunset going from Macfarlane's Ranch to Armadillo a hundred times. This was a great game to have growing up. Masterpiece.
This game came out when I was 12, lucky enough to play such a good game at such a young age.

This is a masterpiece... To think the entire song is a violin, whistle, and piano
L Bordois *cough*fiddle*cough*
Harmonica
All these years after playing it, I catch myself sometimes whistling in boredom and it's the tune from this track

Same bro when I think of red dead I think of this song this should’ve been the theme song to it

Red Dead 2. I hope it raises the bar much as this game did.
It did.
Definitely
your wish came true, lad
Sucks they didn’t redo this track in the new game though, would’ve made me cry like a lil baby bitch but I’d love every second of it

I love how they make Luisa look like a GTA character
Love it makes me cry qnd think of the 1800s and i wish i was there 😦😟😓
Ahh yes. The grand old days of dying from intense dysentery. A true American dream.
Mav. IN yep and getting robbed by outlaws.
Yep, this game takes place in 1911 though, the Old West would cease to exist entirely by 1920
