Arthur catching Tuberculosis wasn't just a sad and historically accurate means of ending the story, the whole theme of red dead redemption is that these people can't fight change, and they're only trying to prolong the inevitable, Arthur getting a terminal illness made him realize that he only had a short amount of time to "make" things right by making sure the ones he loved adapted to the changing world, specifically John and he tried to warn dutch, although he knew he was a lost cause at that point. Beautiful way of ending a character arc.

Happens way too fast, so that version of the track barely gets to shine. What a fantastic tearjerker of a track for someone's last stand. If they actually add in the New Austin missions for Arthur because there were originally missions in New Austin and Arthur was allowed to go there, but for some reason Rockstar cut it out of the game. Hell, Undead Nightmare DLC was supposed to be coming to RDR2 as well, but Rockstar canceled that to work on the shitty online part of the game, which is still shit despite them working on it.
This track really proves a point that music can "grip" onto your emotions when used in the right moments, like the change in tempo at 1:13. The theme changes drastically from this point, and to me this is when Arthur makes us feel the realization that this music - this moment - is his theme; *this is his redemption.*

If you actually focus Arthur is the reason the gang teared apart and they all had their gangs like in red dead redemption mission the were packing to leave together until Arthur says Micah is a rat
I disagree with that since I guess Arthur just wanted Dutch to know that many of their short comings was because of Micah being the rat. I'm sure he would've been fine having Dutch kick Micah out of the gang, knowing that things will go wrong with him in the gang, just like the Strawberry mission and the fact that his actions led to Hosea and Lenny dying. In reality, Micah pulled his gun on Arthur first causing that entire situation to blow up how it did and escalate even further. Micah also shot first in the standoff, which lead to Dutch stepping in even more and everyone choosing their side. Arthur was looking out for the gang, but Micah was the real reason the gang split like it did.
