Seek help from others (mostly helpful) in terms of the distance it might take unless you guys want to explore the city on foot. Because after an arduous journey mostly terrain, you guys would be tired. I assure you that you will have a pleasant stay here. Have a good time!

Back in 2016 i visited Sikkim but couldn't cover all the tourist places. Sikkim is one of the cleanest hill station in india. People are very friendly and helpful. They are very concerned about nature that's why there single use plastic is completely banned. Sikkim is the first state in India to adopt organic farming. There are many many tourists places but i visited only north and east sikkim. Enjoy guys 👍
In india food, culture, language change in every 60km. So don't surprise if you see totally different food and culture when you travel from one town to other...
It would have been much better if you guys had booked a cab from Siliguri. It would have been faster and much more refreshing because the roads are amazing and views too . Hope you enjoy this beautiful state too . 👍👍👍👍👍 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Yes, Sikkim is the most cleanest state in India. It's almost like any Asian countries like China, Korea, Japan unlike the dirty, polluted, chaotic mainland Indian states.
Gangtok is nice. Even though its crowded, you can see its not filled with garbage like the rest of India. Much nicer and friendly people too who don't honk cars every second. Even the garbage you see are thrown by Indian tourists.
Visit lachung and lachen, gurudongmar, zero point. And try to stay in some villageside home stay. It will definitely give you a great experience away from hussle bustle

Gangtok is like 2nd home to me, i use to visit there whenever I get scope, it's a cool & gentle disciplined city with great humanity hosting city

Do-drul Chorten situated at Namgyal Institute of Tibetology Gangtok. Do-drul Chorten is a very peaceful place and a must visit places in Gangtok.

Visit Nathula, Changu lake and Baba Mandir Takes 2 hrs from Gangtok . We visited in March . The lake was frozen and every mountains was snow covered
