Great tutorial and the fabric choices are very nice and one of my favorite colors. You reminded me that I need to get my ex-acto knife and stashed furs out and head to the patio table 😂. Thanks for sharing another great tutoria❤l
FYI a razor blade works really well. I had to make a bear suit 🙄don’t ask, and I traced around the pattern on the back (single layer just like you did) and used the razor blade like a scalpel to cut through the backing.
Will have to try the zigzag stitch the next time. Smart about starting at center back, good tip. A SewSteady machine table is excellent to keep fabric from dragging, but they are machine specific.
Beautiful😊😊😊 love your choice of lining. Good coordination. When you under stitch, you use a zigzag or a straight stitch. I just bought a faux fur. I haven’t purchased the lining yet. Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾Blessed day.
Okay so I was looking for this style and came across yours 😊 My Simplicity no#R10711 same pattern’s style. However I was trying to see how the jacket flip down collar was sewn. Not the vest. Which by the way turn out fabulous ❤

@@blufaerie ok, you asked... I had to make a bear man for a short student film. It was crazy.
Great tip! I’ve heard of this too! Or a box cutter works the same! Bear costume sounds wild! Haha
Very cute…..loved it 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Thanks! Great question, I switched back to a straight stitch for the understitch
Where did you get your material? Does your lining have a stretch to it? Can't wait to sew it now that I watched the sew along!
I made this pattern a couple of years ago
Awesome!
@RavenMaureen 🤗
Super cute vest. This was very helpful. Could you close up the arm opening using the burrito method?
Thanks!

I hope you're able to figure it out! 😊
Hello, thank you so much for the video. Do we need an industrial or heavy duty machine to be able to sew fur?
@@debbie2704 hi not at all! I’ve sewn all my fur makes on domestic machines!
Three pieces???? Okay back to the video 📹
Not bad right?!
