- Another oldschool amplifier arrived for a dyno test - this time its an amp from Blaupunkt model GTA 400. Its a four channel amp.
This amp has been tested for continuous power 1 kHz and 50Hz into 4 and 2 Ohms per channel all 4 channels driven into full power!
This amp skipped the dynamic burst test because there was no dynamic headroom!
The test also includes also the amps efficiency.

Ein weiterer Auto Hifi Verstärker wurde auf Ausgangsleistung getestet.
Diese 4 Kanal Car hifi Endstufe wurde mit Dauersinus getestet , alle vier Kanäle voll ausgesteuert , 50 Hz und 1000 Hz , dieses Mal wurde die dynamische Leistung nicht wirklich ermittelt, da so gut wie kein dynamic headroom vorhanden war - nur bei 2 Ohm aber auch nur für eine milisekunde burst, ansonsten entsprachen alle anderen Burst Messergebnisse den Leistungswerten der Dauerleisung, da bei meinen Burst Messungen alle Spitzenwerte der Halbwellen z.B. gleich hoch sein müssen, eine Limitierung der Verstärkerschaltung / Limiter bzw. des Netzteils wird vorerst nicht akzeptiert! Ansonsten werden die höchsten und niedrigsten Werte im Leistungs Protokoll dokumentiert - siehe Zertifikat !
Der Wirkungsgrad wurde ebenfalls ermittelt.
Für den Klangtest gute Lautsprecher benutzen oder einen wertigen Kopfhörer mit guter Linearität.

This amp is a snapshot in the decline of a once great brand. When I started in car audio Blaupunkt was an aspirational brand. I would read about them in magazines and wonder about the possibilites if I had had the income at the time. They had a stalk mounted equalizer that I and my friends all wished we could have had in our vehicles. Sadly, the brand has fallen further and now its most reputable outlet is Amazon.
You get what you pay for, these were cheap amps back then but ok for the money 👍
I would like to suggest showing the inside of the amps please. Its very easy to take an affordable amp like this and make it way better for not much expense.I am hesitant to expose much because Ive been in the industry all my life and glad to still be employeed.. haha..

I have a Blaupunkt THA2125 amp rated at 125w per ch, or 400w x 1 ch. It has a 60 amp fuse, and inside it has bigger caps (2 x 4200mf at 50v)! Do you think it may have the power it claims? Thanks.😊
I don’t know this amp but with a 60A fuse it’s likely possible that it does more than 400W 👍

OK....schlecht ist die Endstufe nicht....Trotzdem ist es mir ein Rätzel, warum mein alter Herr soooo auf Blaupunkt stand... und er ist bis heute auch kein Pegelfan🥱🤣und für Schlagermucke ist das völlig in Ordnung 😬😬😬😂😂
Naja, 300 Watt Dauerleistung ist ja nicht wenig, den Aufdruck hätten die sich allerdings sparen können .
