It was because Perry believed that it was Punk and his camp who allegedly leaked the glass spot story to the dirtsheets in order to try and make Perry look bad simply for being friends with the Bucks. Both individuals handled this situation poorly.

Eh, it was free ice cream, so it was fine. I got like three of them at the end of the night. They were handing them out at the exits and also hitting us up in the merch line. I was impressed by the coordination of it all. His logo was also up on all the the electronic signage in and outside of the arena.

It was the united center (his home town) And shortly before the show he came out (off camera) and said that he will make sure fans' expectations are matched. That was all. But because AEW actually delivers on its promises, everyone kinda knew. Not like WWE "what is in the cage" for month, only for it to be a plastic spider.
