I would be crying. Punk was my hero growing up so to see him return live would be a "ok i'm a kid again" moment. I remember I was on vacation somewhere when Punk debuted for AEW and I actually did cry.
I wasn't even a huge punk fan but even i had tears, i grew up watching this dude from his roh days to ecw to wwe and now he's back. Its such a great feeling. He belongs in wwe

Anything can happen in the future - botches, injuries, poor writing, etc…and in fact in wrestling it generally does- seldom are things perfect….but they are going forward and trying. That’s all one can ask of punk, wwe, or the wrestlers there. Great job all around - that’s what maturity is, that’s what putting the fans and the industry first is.

But not only did they not make it work (which happens sometimes) from all I’ve read and heard they didn’t do any of the right things (and that’s totally under their control). Vince McMahon (or HHH or Steph), or for that matter the Harts(I met and know a few of them) would never have handled it like that. By all accounts they never even forced everyone to sit down and talk it out with each other and management! They handled it like some high school drama….
