Beauty of a video. Another problem with writing to the right of the question marks that appear at the beginning in the place at the end of the end branch.
For the 3rd time during one year I could see the video but got no sound. After trying all kind of solutions, last 2 times I had to call a technician to fix the problem. This time I found it was cheaper to just stop using this program and move to another.
Hello David I got a question, I'm trying to fo back to back subtitle I have a paragraph and I divide them with ctrl+alt+v but I don't want to divide time or duration, I need a default duration of the text when I'm on next line, 1- default duration is 2sec I want to change it to 100ms for example 2- when I split a sentence I want it to start from where original ended and long as default duration Is there any possibility you may help ?
subtitle edit, ain't a bad bit of kit. Only when i try auto-transcribing using whisper(via GPU rendering), it messes up on 2 hour movies. Whisper coughs up, repeative subtitle lines, 20 or so...with the same words. Does the video/audio boost thing, work for thing like this ? how to fix...

Hello. I have some videos that have some hard-coded subtitles. However, I want to make some subtitle files based on those subtitles. Is there a way to scan hard-coded subtitled videos in order to make separate subtitle files?
This may be out of left field but for a project that I'm trying to get off the ground, I'll certainly need the list of subtitles to be in chronological order and, sadly, when I upload the videos for my project into the program, the associated .ass subtitles are not shown in order and I have to hunt up and down for certain ones I wish to change. Is there any way to change this so I can optimize my work time?
Hi David, the subtitles that you wrote appeared out of the video box. Ideally, we are supposed to have those at the bottom but within the video area and not overlapping on any other content. How do we do that? Does this software provide that feature?
About SubtitleEdit checking your subtitles for errors (in sync or typesetting) - can I just choose to ignore warnings? e.g. if I'm doing something for my own RUclips videos and I'm not conforming to a standard? I don't want a program that automatically changes my transcription, but for most purposes, I don't want to be bothering about typesetting all that much (I care about the transcription much more).

Yeah. the file which has just time stamp of the whole video and no words also know as (Automatic time stamping). so by generating this file it save lot of time that we take selecting the time and then entering the words. rather we can just enter the words to the existing time stamp and increase the productivity.

@@chetangowda1484 you can upload ur video on RUclips, then download subtitles which were generated automatically by youtube, and then either just check/correct english subs(in .sbv or .srt file) or substitute them with a language u need. Timing is quite exact. Hope it was helpful
There isn't a clean way of doing it. Hardcoded subtitles were "burned into" the video, they aren't exactly removable. You can either cut the section with the subtitles, or attempt to remove them with OCR + AI.

Right click on selected, you have addictional options to fix the timings, or you have to do it manually. Also, if you select everything you need to you move the timing for everyone on top menu
