Tobias Sammet and Tuomas Holopainen are the only ones I know that were able to create the whole fantasy worlds with their music. It feels like a fairytale every time I listen to their songs.

@@charlesxavier.. oh well, Víctor Smolski... What an underrated guitar player he is. I still hope he'll be back with rage since day and they can record another amazing album like Speak of the Dead... The songs Innocent and No Regrets... Forgotten masterpieces, especially live with the lingua mortis orchestra. Rage without Victor, it simply dient work for me it feels forced into a style that simply didn't work with rage... And even though I do redirect the band members... You can hear that a big part of the musicality in rage went out of the window with Victor's departure. It's a real shame.

Insane how well their voices mix together, they sound like one powerful, majestic voice and that solo... omg how underrated Avantasia is.
What a beautifully composed song. 80's power ballad feel but definately works for today with these two magnificent world class singers. I could see this on the American Rock stations and even some pop/easy listening stations. Could be a smash in the US.

As incredible as the harder songs on the new album are, this may easily be my favorite track so far. Avantasia's ballads have been an important part of my life for the last 15 years or so. The Story Ain't Over was especially poignant during my separation and divorce years ago. This song has the same power, but a totally different vibe. Floor does her usually absolute best to elevate the lyrics to a whole new level and just soars with the angels we're misplaced among.

Yes But , Much too little Floor jansen, I think you have heard them under worth here it's a real shame I hope they have another song together on the album so it's wrong when I read floor jansen is with it I was mega excited but was disappointed in the end, she was really burned in this song, the location or the height of the song is also not really her favorite part. Please necessarily more with Floor jansen much more but then where she comes out better.

@@mattrobinson22 kkkkkkkk I just followed Nightwish until when Tarja was still in the band after that, I didn't follow it anymore, as well as several bands of that style, but I know that the band would put yes, a person up to the legacy that was left.
With Nightwish she is great.
My two favourite singers together. Been listening to it quite a few times, and the song is fantastic.
Once again Tobi proves the master of melody. That chorus is once again catchy as all hell; instantly commands you to sing along. And really what more can be said of Floor Jansen? Range, stage presence, and a seemingly limitless ability to adapt to styles sometimes mid song. Truly the Freddie Mercury of modern times. And there is no higher compliment I can give than that.
This song is bigger than life: I'm stuck in a infinite loop 'cause as long as I keep on playin' it I feel that life is redeemed. Thanks Tobias & Floor.

I believe getting a little more rest and slowing down a little helped a lot. It has been time to stop the mill of Edguy Album, Edguy Tour, Avantasia Album, Avantasia Tour, Edg..... It's a pity that Edguy was basically sacrificed, but in the end, Avantasia gives him more room to play and it's more popular too. It's good he now focuses on Avantasia. I feel his voice has recovered and he sounds absolutely great in these new songs so far. And all those little details in the songs,... it makes it a great experience to listen again and again, because you always discover a new little Facette. Can't wait to hear "the rest"

I would love to see national radio stations here in the UK back this and get it high in the charts. There is so much dross played on the airwaves, and much of it so samey. Rock has been largely under represented in the UK for decades, since the 80s really. And that is denying an opportunity for people to hear great songs, people who would normally just by pass rock or have a misconception of what it is all about. Radio jocks have the power to educate and spread good music regardless of its genre and this song, if given airplay, I'm sure would go viral across every radio network right around the world.

You know, every band has a song that it's been recognized with, over the world even from the people that are not into metal. "Fear of the dark"-Iron Maiden, "Warriors of the world"- Manowar, "Painkiller"- Judas Priest, "Master of Puppets"- Metallica, "The Bard song"- Blind Guardian, "Nemo"- Nightwish, "Ghost division"-Sabaton, "Cry for the moon"- Epica...
At this very moment if someone asks me what is the song that perfectly describes Avantasia, I'd say it's "The moonflower society", but deep down in me, my heart would sing: "Take me awaaaay, misplaced among the angels..."
Not always a fan of ballads, but that chorus is powerful.

WOW!..... Lost for words...... except - I can tell the angels in my life "LISTEN TO THIS!"
This song captures the way of emotions, while adding a rock-like feel, and keeping an orchestral idea. Tobi has made a song that is a masterpiece, an absolute piece of art. It captures how certain people feel while listening to this, wether it be they feel a sense of happiness, or understanding of the song. People who i recommend the song to always ask what this song is about, and i simply say “the song is a burst of emotions, sadness, happiness, everything. What you hear is what it is about.” My opinion is that when i hear this song, i hear how i felt when i felt like i lost everything, and i couldn’t do anything to help those i loved, but more importantly, i hear my heart, and i have now started following the feeling. When i pass, this is the song i wish to be played, so those who are there, are reminded of what good times we had, yet aren’t afraid to expressing their emotions.

The chorus is very similar to the part leading into the guitar solo in Journey to Arcadia off the Angel of Babylon album; not a bad thing at all. Can't wait for the new album. Tobias is an all-time great in my music hall of fame.
