Tobias had already written the song when he asked Floor to sing on it. She was a little worried that the vocals were low for her voice but Tobias encouraged her to give it a go and you can hear how amazing it turned out. Their harmonies are gorgeous and remind me of Floor and Marko. Love to hear some Nightwish songs where he would take Marko's part in the harmonies.
That was exactly what I thought after hearing them sing together. Don´t get me wrong I absolutely loooove Marko and I miss him like hell, but he decided to step away for his own reasons and there are a few songs of Nightwish which needs his part to be filled again. I think the voices of Floor and Tobias are matching so well that this would probably being worth a try - I would love it !
@@simone9313 yes, Floor doing double the work to sing some of Marko's parts and Troy singing some others, is not ideal. Having a guess singer like Tobias... would be amazing.

This is one of my favorite songs of the last several years. Miss the metal ballads like this from back in the day. There’s another Floor appearance on this album apparently….patiently…not patiently….waiting for that release.

One of the best reactions I've seen you both do for a while! There are two more singles from the album the is coming out soon. You will be equally impressed with those also. The song "Moonflower society" is my personal favourite and features Bob Catley from the British rockband, Magnum. You need to try them, too! They have 50 years of back catalogue to choose from!

No, they reacted to it because it was reqeusted by a whole lot of people, who in turn may have requested it because the song includes Floor, who's to tell? 🤷♂

Tobias is an amazing composer / vocalist....but for me I preferred the harder edge of his Edguy albums. He does however have a knack of drawing in the best, most powerful vocalists in the business. Super nice guy too by all accounts.
Having seen edguy live at the start of their downturn (tinnitus Sanctus tour) I have to say he made the right choice focusing on Avantasia, it’s so much bigger and more epic and has allowed Tobias so really push his musical ambitions further than Edguy ever seemed to do.
