Yes I have just received crystal tec 0.8 string that came with my clay beads (I would never order it) and I have used it in the past and it has either snapped or just not held the knot but I recommend white elastic string, my fav😊

I use crystal tape strings alot, so I know how it feels. But if you are interested in using crystal tape string then I would recommend 0.5 or 0.4. I have made tons of bracelets for my friends and those bracelets never break plus it is really easy to tye it into knots
I agree! If u want to use crystal tec strings or u can't find the elastic ones get the 0.5 or 0.4 i have the .5 And it helps ALOT! it can easily Tie knots and I also follow a knot pattern which is first a basic knot then 2 surgeon knots then lastly another basic knot. Hope this helps! ❤
Yes I made a bracelet for 2 hours bc of the dang string first it wouldn’t tie a not and it kept getting undone, second, whenever I finally finished it and I tied it together it broke when I stretched it……(i my dad had to use a lighter to make the knot stay)

I need advice. Do the sting u use over stretch? Cuz I'm using some really cheap strings and I find that once I put on the bracelet it leave a large gap that can fit 1 or more beads and When I do a durability test by stretching the bracelet it does not come back together, instead it stays very stretched out. I'm really looking for strings that do not do that. Please help!
