So true. I own 5 of them . Playing mostly blues and funk . I use my tele for my country and 6os music but the feeling I get holding my Gibson can't be put into words.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Ugh I’m the same way. I enjoy playing my strats so easy to play. But man when I pick up the Gibson something feels special even though it ways like a cinder lock
@@hendrix1175He said he owns 5 of them, maybe he just likes them so much. Doesn’t prove your point. If he owned 5 different other guitars then your point might be more valid
The Lucille model is an ES-355 and the varitone makes it (and the ES-345) more versatile than a 335. Granted a lot if people don't like the varitone because they think it "sucks tone" but it gives you more options from a full on humbucker growl to an almost acoustic sound.
Beautiful guitars all , and killer sound. But in MY opinion, the Tele is the most versatile. Others are versatile, but the MOST versatile belongs to Tele.
I’ve always thought it was the most amazing guitar I’ve ever seen. It has a brilliant sound. It is super versatile no doubt. The only thing it’s not is super affordable. 😅
ES347. That said I have a Japanese telecaster with Barden pickups. Alder body, maple neck. I’ve done slight contouring on the back.Sperzel tuners. That in my mind is my most versatile guitar. The ES is good, but the tele is my choice.
Versatile? Im not sure what this word really mean, regarding guitars. But 335 is very expresive guitar, that sounds like you, so in this regard it is very versatile, as it represents what you are doing to a T. 👌👍 I love 335s ❤ all of them
if i could only go on the road with one axe it would be a es335 stop tail bridge ,, best of all worlds something to be said for that piece of lumber running down the center of the body ,, tone for daze
Virtually, it’s “ virtually” the same. If it were “ literally” the same it would BE the same. That word is way over used these days, and usually in the wrong context. Sorry for the English lesson , but people have to know the difference.
EVH used the humbucker from a vintage Gibson 335 to put in his frankenstrat and i can see why ! Did you hear the tone from the watermelon colored one with the gain up !? It sounded like EVH !
I had a chance to get one when I was a stupid Kid. What a fool I was, at the time I didn't think it was cool enough. I didn't even bother to hear it. 😖💨
I am not impressed, not at all. Although he is a good player, none of the guitars here sound as they could and should be. The versatility is a just a word here, depends on every player's ability and a lot of other things. The true sound is in the hand, for example think about Frank Marino and as he plays Hendrix on SG. These models are wonderful, would be nice to hear them for what they are really good at.
i mean they both have humbucker pickups so i guess they should both be versatile... i would say the es 335 leans more to bluesy sounds while the les paul is more oriented to that raspy metal tone... but in the end you can play anything on anything so its just prefferance.
you can repaint your guitar... im sure you can pay somone to do it too... if you have the money to buy a es 335 you can specd an extra 250 bucks on the coulour
I will have take money away from my kids college savings to get one of these fine works of musical masterpiece . They are fine in tone an versatility but not cool looking but with the reality of a great player in a classic rock band . These ES-335 series have their place as a high end investment . Not in heavey metal band .
Never thought about it before, but it does play all genres very well 👍
You would be over-spending of you think that 😅😅😅
Every guitar is versatile
Fr
Agreed....
its all in the fingers of the man holding the guitar !
To a point it's in the hands, but you cannot dictate electronics my son, you can't teach a cat to bark you hearing me san😘
Some more than others though
They all looked beautiful.
I'd be happy with any one of them.
So true. I own 5 of them . Playing mostly blues and funk . I use my tele for my country and 6os music but the feeling I get holding my Gibson can't be put into words.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Owning five guitars proves that there isn’t one guitar versatile enough to get rid of the others.

The guitar looks amazing and who ever that guy is he did great
Dinesh is a legend.

335 rules, have a tobacco sunburst from 1982 and it's a dream. Not a flaw anywhere and sounds amazing.
The Cherry Red one with the block inlays and bound oversized headstock with split-diamond inlay is an ES-355.
Beautiful guitars all , and killer sound. But in MY opinion, the Tele is the most versatile. Others are versatile, but the MOST versatile belongs to Tele.
Anyone else think the thumbnail was Adam Jones playing a 335
Or Skolnik
Yes
339 for me 👌🏽
top 5 for sure
For the money I’ll take the Epiphone every time
Yeah cuz you can basically get like 10 of them for each gibson lol
Amen!
I’ve always thought it was the most amazing guitar I’ve ever seen. It has a brilliant sound. It is super versatile no doubt. The only thing it’s not is super affordable. 😅
I got to hold one of those today
They're so cool! How did you find it?
@@gibson at the guitar shop well I got to hold the Epiphone dot and the es335

The blueberry burst 😍😍😍
The Telecaster to me is the most versatile
I would choose An HSS Strat for the most versatile axe! And stick a P 90 in the neck!👍
Versatile? Im not sure what this word really mean, regarding guitars.

How do I get these sounds?
Sin duda alguna es la más versátil, más aún que la stratocaster
I NEED IT
Most versatile would be a strat with a bridge humbucker imo
yea i agree with you
Agreed 👍
Gibsons suck for the price you pay.... better alternatives available in the market by the way😅😅😅
Is the mesa boogie versatile Enough?
You bet! MESA/Boogie has an amp for every kind of style!
I really like the Blueberry Burst..
That was a 339 actually. Literally the same guitar, but the body is smaller.
Virtually, it’s “ virtually” the same. If it were “ literally” the same it would BE the same. That word is way over used these days, and usually in the wrong context. Sorry for the English lesson , but people have to know the difference.
@GOODTARGETBARTZ Slava Ukraini
@GOODTARGETBARTZ screw them.
Without a doubt.
So cool that Gibson got the son of Dave Grohl and Nuno Bettencourt to do this demo!!
I can only afford the Eastman version , a Gibson is way out of my reach
Not as long as there are strats.
fender stratocaster is 😊
Nem de longe! Fender Stratocaster
I don't know about that, but I would agree that the good ones are very 'vocal', and instantly recognizable as what they are!
If I could afford one I might be able to comment on the posed question😂
sem dúvida a minha eleita além de apreciar a Telecaster .
Alex Lifeson thought so...
Naw the telecaster is
Strat
Universal? Maybe something heavier to play in the example too? Like metal ))))

Now that I'm listening again, it does!
The best sound is 70% amplifier and 30% guitar.
I would say the reverse 70% guitar, 30% amplifier determines sound.
@cherrysunburst1959 sorry but I don’t think so..
@@hplee581 opinions vary, thats why I posted mine.
@cherrysunburst1959 Good I agree.
A good 335 is better than a good anything else.
La amo con mi alma pero es la strato
Thought that was Adam Jones 😂
He gets that a lot!
wonderful guitars. My telecasters are the most versatile in my collection
even if it's unplugged it would kinda work as an acoustic
They sure are loud!
Полу-акустика Гибсон, это джаз. А джаз всегда межу классикой и роком. Связующее звено.
Да и на не подключенной можно в помещении очень хорошо играть.
Why you never talk about 339 ?
하 내기타다 es-335 크흐~맨날 보기만해도 웃음이 멈추질 않다는 ㅎ
Versatile guitar: Proceeds to only play different varieties of blues
Dont ask me. Probably best to ask Ted Nugent etc etc etc. Take care 👍👌💯🎸🎸
Uncle Ted plays a Byrdland, semi hollow. Same look, different animal. Same with Gretsch and Rickenbacker, similar look, total different animals.
yes, but... does it djent? 😂
weird hair cool guitar
I had a chance to get one when I was a stupid Kid. What a fool I was, at the time I didn't think it was cool enough. I didn't even bother to hear it. 😖💨
Why do foreign guitarists get tatoo in their arms? I can't get it.🤪
Espetacular mas a minha desafinava pra kct

@@thehevytrooperyeah you’re right, since then I’ve opened up to more guitars. Still a die hard Les Paul fan though
All sounds same Digital sound
I have one it is an amazing guitar. But even a cheap pos can be amazing. It’s the player. Not the guitar. Gibson sells fairy tales.
The most versatile guitar comes in the 3 most boring colours.
