It's doing better than I expected on the rocks in stock form Mike 👍 I watched RC TNT test of the new Vanquish H10 buggy thing the other night. It was hopeless on his 6 problem rock course. This Intruder would run rings around it.
It was quite a surprise just how badly that thing did. It looked like it should be quite capable if a bit of a strange and pointless design mix. Those axles though! 🤤
I take back what I said about RC TNT. I didn't realise he'd tested the Intruder. Absolutely hopeless on his 6 problems lol. But I stand by what I ( and he ) said about the Vanquish 😂
Surprisingly, good performance out of the box. I am still hesitant to get one since I already have the upgraded Pro Runner. From where i come from, it is the same price as the Pro Runner but with less features. Btw, nice review.
Green injora inserts and different tires and I think it would make a huge difference // also can you upload a video on how the rig looks like with no bumper ?
Yes, in theory, you could add bodyposts or another mounting system to the chassis and then modify the bodyshell to work with the new system. But I think the body would look a bit odd, to say the least. It'd be like a face without a lower jaw.
Yeah, it seems quite fun. We'll see how serious it can be. I've driven the Tracker with loads of TRX4s and it compares very well. Better at some things, worse at others but always close. The only thing that's significant is the approach and departure angles being worse. I'd have a Tracker, though.
I drove my Tracker when new and stock, against a TRX4 in classic Bronco body. They're so similar in build but on the day, I think my Tracker came out on top, especially when climbing a steep slope with unlocked diffs. Ok, tyre choice comes into it. But the TRX4 owner had a close look at both side by side and said he was impressed with the build quality. For the price, it's unbeatable IMO. I have only broken a front prop shaft, but I have driven it hard with minimal cleaning and maintenance. The few upgrades I've done have made it even better. I love it.
@anglian-rc There are brass diff and portal covers available. They're not needed until you put a loaf of scale stuff on the roof and then they're a godsend! Honestly, nothing else really needs upgrading but a better ESC is always a good start.
A very cool and Beautifull RGT in awesome Action 🎉!!!
Thanks Panda🐼. It's a lovely car and it was a surprisingly good run.
Indeed my Friend ❤! Panda Wife are looking for one of that
Excellent video and test :) And a nice looking car.
Thanks a lot. Yes, it's lovely, isn't it?

I'm sure it would but I'm enjoying the (almost) stock truck up to now.
It did remarkably well bone stock from the box. A really nice truck. I have one, but the wife would kill me!! 😂
You'd better cover it in mud as soon as it arrives! 🤣
@@rcpie 😆
@@rcpie I'm in hospital at the moment as it is!! I don't want to be back again that soon!! 😆
No, you'd better walk a careful mine for the time being!
Best wishes for your recovery / treatment. 🤞🏻
@@rcpie thank you. 👍🏻

Yeah, a pair of bad'uns! 🤣 It's a hell of a course, though.

It was very surprising and I suspect that with a little bit of work it could perform a lot better. Watch this space..
@@rcpie I will, thanks for your hard work.
You're very welcome! 😁

You can't use this body without either bumper as both front and rear of the bodyshell attach directly to the bumpers.
@@rcpie unless we use a clip body correct ? To clip on to under the wheel wells

Looks a fun rig!!.
Question did you ever compare the tracker to the trx4?
Yeah, it seems quite fun. We'll see how serious it can be.

@rcpie Good to know thank you. I love the look of both I do love a defender but toyota is a very close second 😆

@@psjoinery6 Thank you for the reply. It's made me really interested in the tracker now. Can you get metal upgrades for it? That would be awesome 👌
