    Excellent video.
I have been doing repairs in my business for 15 years and I honestly didn't know those existed.

@ k&d_enterprise I have a 2007 ion that leaks I'm the exact same place. I haven't got under there to have a look yet but spot on ground is always in same place, in front of rear drivers side wheel. Are the 2003 and 2007 the same? Are the fuel line couplers the same 3/8 size? I appreciate the video and the time you took to do it. I was dreading getting under there but after your video not so much.

Yes they are all pretty much the same layout, a few minor part difference, not many though…

@@kd_enterprise3404 Are the fuel lines the same 3/8 size? I apologize for so many questions. At present time this is our main vehicle and am needing to get it fixed fairly fast. I appreciate the reply.

@@buckeyehillsaudit3680 no problem, I would bet money on it but just goto a site like Napa and enter in your car info… it should indicate the fuel line size… well it will show entire fuel line kits but you will get the idea… the only reason it might be different is if someone has previously modified it. Even if you have a garage do it, if they are honest they will only replace that section, it should only cost 60 bucks. It’s a 10min job.

does it still working without leak, i think this type of connectors are for penumatic applications but i don't know if it suitable for fuel lines hope it is fine as i have to do fuel pipes modification in my car.

Still working fine, the connectors i used are specifically for fuel lines. Check when you buy, perhaps different types avail.

when you type in dorman 800-193, it comes up specifically as 3/8 nylon fuel line unions

did you de-pressure the system first?

No, I did not have to since I waited for the leaking to stop... it depressurized on its own.
