I can't find these metal connectors for the cylinder head return hose. I would really appreciate it if you could share a link or information on where I can buy them. Thank you very much.
Great job, I´ve watched some videos where it´s possible to route the new line without the need of take apart the intake, and save you some labor hours. Anyway, it was a good way to realize what´s happening under the intake and in your case a leak was causing corrosion.
I dont think he is only replacing the rigid reservoir to head coolant line you are talking about. You can replace that smaller one without removing the intake manifold. As you can see from the video he is replacing the corroded large coolant pipe and plastic flange which you do need to take off the intake to get at. He pointed to the oil filter housing as well, so I think he plans to replace that as well. Didnt want anyone to read your comment and think they can do the work he is doing without removing the intake manifold.
Thanks for the detailed video! One question.. Did you have to refill coolant after changing the expansion tank to cylinder head hose? And bleeding the air out after this operation or it´s not needed?
Мотор B48, готовься, к 120 тыс. будешь менять еще раз трубку от блока, патрубок от головки цилиндров, стакан масляной в сборе, помпу в сборе, систему ванос и сайленблоки еще раз))) и это без чипа)
He didn’t watch the whole video to see the hose adapter coming off the block and the rad hose leaking. You do have to take the intake off for that one. Unfortunately you can’t tell but your oil filter housing is decomposing as well and should be changed while you are in there.
What if needing to replace the upper radiator hose on a 2017 540i?Do you know what will need to be removed to get to it and how difficult it would be to repair at home?
nice video, I think I may have the same problem. Gonna have to get it exposed to find out for sure.

great job, where can I get the silicone cooling hose?
Aliexpress
And the metallic conectors?
Man you should've done the oil cooler gaskets or cooler itself while you were there. I've done about 10 already
Yes but bit expensive no need for it as its just the pipe leaking, same thing happend to me 1month ago just changed the pipe
Really helpful thank you 👍
Wow, you made a big mess there 😂
You dont need to take the manifold off.. you did all this extra work for nothing.. this hose can be changed in less then 10 minutes.
Cool! thank you for comment. Is the other else hose too? I changed hose seat also.
