Milkstone, you have no idea what a blessing this game is to me and my disabled son. We're console players anxiously waiting for it to come out on XBox.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it won't come to consoles for another 6-12 months.
This is an Early Access release, so the game is not yet done, but it should be on consoles once the game is fully featured and it get's out of Early Access. Glad to hear your son can play the game, our goal is for everyone to be able to play it, relax, and have a great time. Farm Together is such an underrated franchise. First game was amazing, and this looks to be everything I loved about the first game but made even better. I wish it got more recognizion and love, as it's one of the better farming games I've played. I got all trophies on playstation for the first game. Have since moved to PC, and I'm planning on getting all achievements there too, assuming there are achievements (I really hope so, they're fun). I love customizing my farm and I'm sooo excited for all the new things in FT2. Thank you Milkstone for making FT2, I'm very excited for it, I needed something new after playing hundreds of hours of FT. May can't coime soon enough!

I'm so happy to see you guys are making Farm Together 2. I can't wait to play it when it comes out.
I can't wait for this to come out. Would be nice if they made this so you could play it across systems. Like the same account you could play on Steam, and then pick it up on the Switch or PS, or Xbox. Just pick up where you left off.
We'll see. We would like to add crossplay first, so that players can join between different platforms. Then we may look into that. It requires a lot of legal 'paperwork' so we can't promise anything until it's actually done. We're trying, but we're a small team so we don't have that much impact on console vendors as a big publisher.
I hope that during early access you will integrate strongly with the players and together we will make this game even better than it promises! Can't wait to may!
You should join the game's Discord, we will try to listen to all the feedback, and our goal is to fulfill a lot of the most wanted features from the first one. We still have a lot of work to do though!

The sequel is Early Access, so it means it still lacks a few features from the first one, so there's lots of work to do. But hopefully it will be worth it in the end. We'll do our best!

The music is done by Hernán Marandino, the composer of 'Forager' and our previous game 'Army of Ruin'. It has less tracks the the first one (for now, we'll keep adding them) but this time it's original music, not licensed, so it can be played in streams and videos without copyright issues. And we like it very much 😊 hope you like it too!

Very exciting to see this new game, and I also want to know will there be or planned will be a delicated server version, since FT1 didn't, everytime I played with my friend can only play on our own saved, rather than a group of people just build on one farm. Thanks for you reply in advanced.

Hopefully yes! making the interface more readable was something we've tried and we added lots of little upgrades here and there. The game still lacks some important features (and a ton of content) but we'll that those over time. Please tell us if you have anything you would love to have! (we have a suggestions channel in the game's Discord).
@@MilkstonestudiosSL I bought it and already provided some feedback. I loved the overall sound changes and some of the new mechanics. All sound effects / cues from the first game are back, and that is awesome to see! I see great success for FT2!!!

I am SO going to be stalking Steam daily now! I started FT on Switch release day and it is BY FAR my most FAVORITE game EVER!!! 😍 Can't wait!! (only play on Steam now for the last year or so.)
It should be out May 7th! but remember it's an Early Access release, so it still lacks some features (like farmhands) that we'll add over time. But it also has some new features like terraforming. It's mostly an 'early beta' that's playable, but we stil need to put work on it.

I'm a former professional beta tester and was part of one of the teams who tested the original Project X hardware before we coined it as "The X Box" in late 2000 early 2001. 😉 I'm self-employed now and use FT as my relax/unwind time, so I'm very excited about FT2 and will gladly submit any feedback I can.

Hey there, are you planning to do a Slovak language translation of the game as well, since you have done the Czech version? I could help you with the translation as I am a native slovak speaker (would gladly volunteer). Anyways, this is my favorite farming game. Loved the first one, will definitely buy this one too!

With this new version, we need to add more decorations to the original version. I don't know how much it will sell for. Should I buy the full DLC to get version 2 or do I have to buy it from the beginning?

I can't wait! I sincerely hope farm area is much much bigger. Needing 510 beets, 90 Suri Alpaca and 120 banana trees for one quest it takes a lot of space and planning to make a workable farm. Biiiiiiig farm please 😊 Farm on! 🌽🥦🍅🥕
It has the same area for now, but almost all the buildings have moved to the Town, so there should be more free space to use. We'll see if that's enough during the Early Access, but we feel it has a good size right now.
I remember playing this years ago with my cousins when we were still little, and here I am because of my curiosity to find out the “Farming Game” we used to play 😂. Finally after just minutes of searching through youtube, I FOUND IT! 😊

We start over again. Everything is new, new toons, new decorations, new plants, new lands, new game.
Everything is redone underneath (even if it looks very similar) so there's no way to move over your previous farm. We could do some conversion, in a way, but it's not trivial. We'll think about it during the Early Access, there's still so much to work on!
I just downloaded the game on switch and love it. Is avatar farm on switch? Never heard or played it. As i love all kinds of farm games.❤

I would really like to see riding animals🏇 , various teams and interaction with my pets in the game 🐕🐈🦜. Of course, DLC about the wild West🤠, hats and a cowboy costume were not enough for me. The Mexican-style DLC is just great. I love you, developers💋💋💋. Farm together 1 FOREVER in my heart 💔
We would like to have that too, but not on release. We still lack farmhands and events, and a ton of content. Pets will also return and we would love to ride horses, at least. But we're changing a lot of things underneath (all the art is new!) so it takes time. We'll work as quickly as we can though! This is an Early Access release, so theres a lot to do.

There are not achievements yet. This is an Early Access release, so it lacks some features, it's mostly a 'beta version' that you can play early. We usually add achievements closer to the full release, and I would say we will add a similar amount to the first one. Maybe a few more? there are a couple of extra oportunities for interesting achievements.

@@MilkstonestudiosSL I have an idea. On the previous game we had bridges that were already from the beggining of the farm but we couldn't move them or put new ones. Those bridges were very beautiful.

I played the game with my husband and my daughter on xbox and then on playstation too. It's the best farming game for me. I even made a farm with flowers and decorations only, a huge garden.
And please more fuel for cars. It's very frustrating to stop working all the time just for fuelling your car because it destroys inspiration.

@@MilkstonestudiosSL Well the feature is amazing, in farm together 1 i remember editing my savefile's relaxedjson data to remove terrain bumps in my map since i also didn't want the flat world penalty.
The main reason why it was such a problem was because some worlds generate tons of obstacles, and some generate a few. But finding out how bad the world is takes a long time of unlocking areas to see if it's good or not.
After spending more than 1,500 + hours on the initial release of this game, I'm SUPER excited! Gonna buy this for me and my daughter :)
Remember it's and Early Access release and the game won't have some features (like farmhands or events) on launch. We'll add those over time, as we wanted to make some changes.

I really hope it runs on the Steam Deck the way the first game does. Playing the first game at 90fps on the OLED is amazing.
I think so, yes! We have a few more performance settings so hopefully you should be able so squeeze a few extra frames here and there.

Hi Milkstone studios! Love the first version of the game. Over 1000 hours playing and bought all exp. packs. (I really loved that each exp. pac is so affordable.
Now, about this second version of the game. What is the key differences? For me personnally, technical/ harvesting tools (as tractors and such) is of no importance (game version ones options in this regard is quite enough for me), for me it is the visual and design aspect of the game that is important. So what is the key differences between origi. game and the second upcoming version?

Today, I happened to hear about the release of Farm 2, which is hot. If it's still as good as the original, I should break the video card.
For now, it has a few more features than the original (terraforming or the town), and a few less (farmhands and events are not in the game for now). We'll add those over time, of course, but it's an Early Access release, meaning the game is not finished yet. But it's very playable.

Still pretty much a farming management game though. You don't need to worry about other characters that much, or give them birthday presents and so on. That actually stresses us out from other farming games 😅

I love this game!! Will Farm Together 2 be released on the switch as well?
We would love to and intend to. But that would be after the Early Access period is over. We've changed quite some things under the hood (even if the game works very similarly to the first one) so we have to test it a lot before releasing it on consoles.

Maybe in the future? who knows? we'll 100% focused on this game for a while though. But I would love to revisit that, and maybe a Little Racers 2 would be cool (although the market is way smaller for that).

really.. i was just talking about this game and my own farm.. 100% this will get me start gaming on consoles again.. just hoping the game can handle a little more. the max area for farmhands? was 160 i think? i had every flower and animal x160 and the game almost crashed (slowmotion) i'm less about decoration and more about earning fast
Which platform did you play on? We've don a lot of optimizations under the hood, and there are more settings that you can tweak so I would say it should run better. There won't be farmhands on release though! This is an Early Access release and there are some missing features from the first one (that we'll add over time) as well as some brand new ones.

No way!! Console version later right!? I have +100 hours on the first one on PS4 I absolutely love this game
We always release the Early Access on PC because we need to be able to add content and fix bugs super quickly. Once the game is mostly finished (meaning the core game features all working) we'll release it on consoles.

All I want is more farmhands. I like the whole automation/management process that farmhands brings to the game, but there too few in the first game. At least double the amount, thank you.
Not on release. Farmhands is one of the features that are not yet in the game. Remember this is an Early Access release, meaning it's not a finished product yet, although it is playable. Please check it out, as you may want to wait a bit.

We'll try to release it in as many consoles as we can. Our only fear is the Switch, as it has a very lowspec hardware, put we would like to try there either way.

Turkish is 99% complete as of now. You can check on Crowdin, the website we're using for localization.
