i love that pixel games are still around and people keep innovating with the gameplay and graphics. Pixel art just have a different vibe that modern games can't capture. it feels warm and cozy. like a hug of a safety blanket in winter.

@@mack9225one distinctive difference between this art style and Stardew is that in SDV there are no outlines or at least not black ones like here. That being said, I also used to watch their pixel art/design videos, probably like 2 years ago, and I wish listed it on Steam back then. Definitely planning on getting the early access.

There's something that just hits different with a isometric topdown game that has amazingly, stunning character art. It's like okay I got the jist of what the character looks like but damn they're hiding all of that under their 2D pixel art. It really brings a depth to a character which makes people stick around to see what happens to said character.
Gonna be honest, this is one of my favorite looking games of all time. The art and style of this just gives me an amazing feeling I can't describe. I will 100% be playing this when it comes out!

What a beautiful game. I love the color palette and all the landscapes. Mountain shots, the forest, and it all takes place in a seaside town which is my favorite setting in a videogame. What a lovely surprise this is.

The narrative, characters, and the art style is actually pretty intriguing. Also the gameplay looks better than I expected, the combat & cooking parts are really nice touches.
Only finding out about this game just now, but I feel like I've been waiting for it for 15 years. I honestly teared up. This is a love-letter to so many games that I cherished over the years. I normally don't wishlist anything because I'm broke, but this was an immediate wishlist. If someone asked me to describe early 2000's chill RPG vibes, this game would be a perfect match.

I get major gen 2/3 pokemon vibes from the minigames, like the berry blender in particular, from the animation style (bounciness) to the artistic pixel art style. Major ragnarok online vibes in the aesthetic and combat with a bit of ARPG flair. Honestly, the last game I was this eager to play was TES Oblivion at release. Your love for RPGs is so blatantly obvious, and just the dedication alone that you've obviously put into this is truly astounding and worthy of praise. You have done an impeccable job of showing your love for RPGs, without a doubt, this game is going to resonate with many people.

This looks really good. But my only suggestion is that the NPC's should react to the weather. In the clip of the NPC's walking around in the modern town during the rain they should have umbrellas and wear hats. And especially when it snows they should wear winter clothes, hats, scarves, gloves, etc.
I honestly can't wait. I've been wanting a cooking/food-based RPG for the longest time and it looks like this game delivers. Hadn't heard of it before, but I'm glad it came up on my recommended. Added to wishlist and will be not-so-patiently awaiting release!

Been following for years and love that the game has reached this far. I myself was trying to get into the industry but couldnt and gave up, that is how I found your devlogs. I still hope to make a game someday, just no idea how to start yet. but looking at this trailer, it makes me want to reignite the passion again.

This looks really good. But my only suggestion is that the NPC's should react to the weather. In the clip of the NPC's walking around in the modern town during the rain they should have umbrellas and wear hats. And especially when it snows they should wear winter clothes, hats, scarves, gloves, etc.
