I’ve got the same car, my oil looks whole Lot better at 5K oil changes. Honda’s reminder algorithm is way too lazy! Hot tip you can get rid of those PH3 bolts for the splash shield and switch out to 8 milli bolts!! Got directly from a Honda motorcycle shop
I do really enjoy your work. Very relaxing..... however, I have to ask, why do you video in portrait mode instead of landscape? Is it the way your camera is mounted? Or is it just your preference? Not trying to be a smart-ass.... I just prefer to have my monitor screen filled with the video instead of having 2/3's blacked out. Just curious. BTW, I really like the piano doodling over standard chord changes. Is that you doing that by chance? I love the chord changes to those Real Book standards. Again, thanks for the videos. I know how much goes into doing them.
Thanks for the video. I wish I had a lift. I removed a few bolts on the engine shroud before realizing there were gaps for the oil plug and filter. I ended up not removing the shroud because of the tight space working under the car.
Just curious, does the official shop manual not mention prefilling the filter? If so that's interesting because so many people make a big deal about it.

Honda does not specify pre filling the filters. They give an oil full capacity that includes the filter capacity

You can turn the heat up to high. That should force the engine to come on.

I heard that you really have to change the oil every 3000 miles or sooner because of the oil dilution from the fuel getting in the oil
