My wife and I play only co-op games, and currently own a couple hundred I think. So our top 10 is actually our overall top 10 also. Top 10 (me) 1. Spirit Island 2. Marvel Champions 3. Pandemic (the entire group) 4. The Crew: Mission Deep Sea 5. Viticulture World 6. Last Bastion 7. Atlantis Rising 8. Beyond Baker Street 9. Daybreak 10. Shipwreck Arcana Honorable - For Science!, Dead Men Tell No Tales, Shards of infinity (with Shadows of Salvation), Gloomhaven JOTL, Rush MD Top 10 (my wife): 1. Chronicles of Crime 2 Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle 3. Rush MD 4. The Shipwreck Arcana 5. Spirit Island 6. Beyond Baker Street 7. Exit: the game 8. MicroMacro 9. Pandemics 10. Endangered Honorable - Forgotten Waters, 5-Minute Mystery, Now Boarding
Great video, kids and thanks. I’d suggest Eldritch Horror, particularly if you like GH and Horrified. Shawn, please be sure to put up some gameplay footage on “Last Week of Summer” from UKGE. I promise I’ll start a Discord so I can play-test soon. My most anticipated game of 2024! 🤘
Great job on the list. I loved seeing what the two of you enjoyed. Lots of fantastic choices. Your #1 game in particular had me intrigued in that you enjoyed how it was not a stressful experience. Another recent game that has a cozy cooperative experience you might like is Mythwind. I'm not sure if you have tried it but may be worth looking into.
Thank you for the fun list :D It is right up my/our alley :D Only have not yet played Unmatched since we are usually 3+ players. I really love Dorfromantik for relaxing evenings. So pretty and so cool they included the mini campaign and unlocks :D Hope you have many more enjoyable sessions :D If you ever have a bigger play group you might want to try Mysterium/M.Park, Cthulhu Death May Die or Codenames Duett :D All of which really play well at 5 or more and do not overstay their welcome ^^. For cute but crunchy fun I can recommend KeepThe Heroes Out and for explorative puzzle scenarios Unsettled :D Both take a bit of time though. Admittedly since two weeks we have been hooked by Slay the Spire - co-op deck building game fashioned after the solo computer game. This turned out so well I currently think it is among the games with the most/best cooperation while being totally assymmetric. ^^ It scales perfectly for 1-4 players.
An alternative to Pandemic and Rush MD is a compact game, We Care. (I have yet to play). I'm looking forward to playing Link City also - a co-op party game.
@@AlliesorEnemiesit sits just outside my top 10. It was my go-to 1h solo game last year before I discovered Marvel Champions. It shines at 1-2 players. 3p the downtime starts to be irritating sometimes and 4p would probably be just unplayable. The game length does not scale with number of players (like Marvel Champions) so every player just gets twice as many turns at 2p than at 4p.
We tried Beacon Patrol at Essen and we liked it. We definitely need to play it again. Mists over Carcassonne is really, really challenging. I actually prefer using it as an expansion for the regular game, but Jess likes the challenge of the co-op.
No but I (Shawn) really want to!! The giant tower looks so cool! And although I don't have any childhood memories of it, I generally like what Restoration does.
@@AlliesorEnemies Well, for some bizarre unknown reason, my 100% innocent follow-up reply was removed, so I actually have no idea how to re-state it. YT is an increasingly ridiculous platform.
@@AlliesorEnemies I play a lot of solo and coop. LW is a 1-4 player solo/coop game. If you two enjoy coop together you may want to check it out. LW was a KS release, but iI think it s going to have another printing (with exspansion) on GF. Not sure if it's coming to retail.
Although I haven't played any games as bought them to take with me overseas as I'm moving from Australia to Europe to be with my wife and 8yo granddaughter, some games that have not been mentioned yet from reviews I've watched and am sure they are in your list of 35 are: Creature Comforts Sleeping Gods 7th Continent Everdale Meadow(?) I have 95 or so games so going off the top of my head and since I've packed them up, can't get access to them........
@@AlliesorEnemies haha. I knew it sounded familiar. I'm subscribed to that channel and wondered if you still uploaded. I watched the Coen brothers vid and was like...🤔
Dorfromantik has quickly shot up to our number one co-op. It's so easy to just start playing. Great list as always (except for Spirit Island, that game just fell completely flat for me)
Dorfromantik really is so zen, actually even more so than the video game. And Even thoughd we like it, I totally get it with Spirit Island, it is a bit of a marmite one.
We've been enjoying the co-operative puzzle of Tesseract. Horrified is also a favorite co-op game.
We'll have to check out Tesseract!

Thanks! We have played Mythwind and totally agreed on the gentle chillness. It has a bit of that harvest moon thing going on.

Thank you for all the great suggestions! Slay the spire is high on the list for sure, it's really the talk of the town right now.
Great list. We love The Loop, Dead Men Tell No Tales, and Hotshots (unfortunately out of print).
We have been meaning to play The Loop forever. We really need to.
Oh yeah! MC:LCG
Great list. Thanks for sharing.
Currently my top 3 is: Unsettled, Robinson Crusoe, Sub Terra. I love co-op games
Unsettled looks really pretty. We are keen to try it.
Love the Reckoners! Have you tried it?
We haven't played it. We'll need to look it up.
An alternative to Pandemic and Rush MD is a compact game, We Care. (I have yet to play). I'm looking forward to playing Link City also - a co-op party game.
We hadn't heard of either of those. Thanks for the recommendations.
Wow, my 4 favorite games (not just coop) are
Spirit Island
The Crew
Marvel Champions
Gloomhaven
Will have to watch some of your other videos 🙂
Do you have any coop recommendations we may not know? We are always hunting.
@@AlliesorEnemiesa few more favorite coops:
The LOOP
Flip Ships
Codenames Duet
Hanabi
Mechs vs Minions
So Clover
FUSE
@@olivierjodoin2283 The Loop! Thank you for the reminder. We have been meaning to play that forever.

Ah! I have found another couple who have never played Thunderbirds! 🙂
You are correct, but now we are confused.
