Awesome series, you guys! Thanks for bringing up Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig! We bought the base and expansion a couple of days ago and are having a blast playing it! All because you rated it so highly! Thank you :) Greetings from Bulgaria!
Thanks for your lists ! Sea, Salt & Paper with Extra Salt is also at my #3, Dune Imperium is my favourite conflict game at #2, (the apps on iOS gets at least a game/day, Rise of Ix should come soon), and in 2025 the Bloodline expansion, can’t wait. At the top of my list is Wingspan. This one too gets a daily play on iOS.
@@AlliesorEnemies it was announced after GenCon. An expansion for Dune Imperium and Uprising. There is little bit of info on DireWolf website. iOS app is a blessing for me because I am more often alone than with people for gaming.
"Sea Salt & Paper" is also on my top 10 and I think it's insane as a such simple game in just one small deck. But "LAST CHANCE" mechanism is incredibly fun and yes... mermaid victory is soul crushing to the opponent 🤣 My current top 10 is: 1 - Five Tribes 2 - Tigris & Euphrates 3 - El Grande 4 - Azul 5 - LOTR LCG 6 - SW Rebellion 7 - Sea Salt & Paper 8 - Space Hulk Death Angel 9 - Lord of Waterdeep 10 - Tiny Epic Dungeons 5 Honorale Mentions: * Lost Ruins of Arnak * Spirit Island * Raiders of the North Sea * Concordia * Deus
it really is such a great card game! Also really nice list! And a great reminder that we really need to try El Grande. It's crazy that neither of us have played it.
@@martinmijailperezzavaleta1024 well, funny enough it is in my Top 20. But I honestly think it works best when everyone knows their role well... And that is not always the case 😅, but it is a great game 😎👍
What a great list (both lists actually). Instantly subscribed! I Absolutely love (in this order): Ultimate Railroads (I don't hear many people praising it, but it's just phenomenal) Gaia Project (masterful design, best of the series) Dune Imperium (I just have The Rise of Ix, and have played Uprising, but I think I prefer Base+Ix than Uprising alone) GWT NZ (the best in the series, it's just amazing!) Terraforming Mars (I like it a lot, but the regular components make me mad) Feast For Odin (maybe the best of Uwe's, but competes with Le Havre for my fav) Anachrony (I adore the integration between theme and mechanics, and love Turczi's designs in general) Kanban DE (I also prefer it over EV) Lost Ruins of Arnak (pretty fun and fast paced game. First expansion is a "must" imo) Village (enjoy it very much, although I prefer the graphics of my edition) Ark Nova (although not my favorite of the list) The first 5 would be in my top ten, the rest being: Root, Pax Pamir 2nd ed., Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization, Race For the Galaxy and War of the Ring. The rest of the games in your lists I don't know, but Sea Salt & Paper got me pretty intrigued, so it's already on my shopping cart! Thanks
Thank you for watching, and for the comment! I think Root would be a lot higher if we got in more 4 player games, and everytime we play War of the Ring we think we need to play it more. Hopefully you like Sea Salt and Paper as mucy as we do!
Awesome Top 10! I must give Jess the Gold medal (😂) as she won 6-1 over Shawn for games in this episode being in my top 25! We have really similar gaming tastes... Love the whole top 100!
This world is crazy > We only have 1 game in common with your 20 > TFMars! LOL All the rest we don't like (with no offense)! So many games, so many players ...
I don't think uprising is better. Spies mechanic ruins the tight worker placement, and isn't as good as the spy mechanic in the original expansions. Worms are OP. And with the new combat cards, leads to everyone having a pile of resources last 1/3 of the game. The set collection of the combat cards is blah. Contracts is blah as well. It's just a bunch of new unnecessary things that don't make a great game better, but worse.
Fair enough. We have only played a friends copy a couple of times so may have been distracted by shiny new things. We do pretty much always play Imperium plus both expansions, it's a pretty perfect game that way.
The description of Dorfromantik is perfect, Jess. It is the most chill game ever, no contest. It's a true comfort game.
Thank you. It really is, and we are so excited for the new Sakura version coming out this year. It looks so pretty.
What an awesome Top 10! Your descriptions of the games and why they are so good is spot on. I love seeing Everdell in your top 10 Jess.
Thank you so much!
This top 10 did not disappoint, what a wonderful top 100. Thanks for the journey friends.
Thanks so much for coming along for the ride!

I hadn't heard about the Bloodline Expansion, very exciting! Also we need to try the Dune app! Thanks for watching!

There's an old Kanban????!!! What? Love it! Also, I've been on the fence about Mad King and I think you sold me!!
There are actually a couple of older versions. I'm pretty sure the only major change is the art, but it's like half the price, and a much smaller box.
@@AlliesorEnemies Both advantages!!!
Great list!! Thanks guys
Thanks for watching!
Great list! I thoroughly enjoyed every one of these videos!
Ok so you've officially introduced me to Dorf Romantik. Definitely have to check it out
It is very chill. The ultimate cool down game.
Great list! I think we have similar tastes. I instantly hit subscribe. Looking forward to seeing more content!
Thanks so much!
Enjoyed this you guys!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome channel . Very pleasant to watch and I did some very interesting game discoveries! Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic lists! Great games!
Dune Imperium! Yes yes yes!
My no.1 too.
Game on!
It is so good! Glad we are agreed!
Thanks, great series!
Thanks for watching!
What would you say is the best player count for Gaia project? Is it as good with 2 as it is for 3??
I've only ever played it at 1 or 2, so I can't say if it's better or worse. But I love it at both of those.
Great lists guys. My #1 is Dune Imperium with Rise of Ix. I really enjoy Root, Brass Birmingham, and Spirit Island as well.
All great choices! I think all of those were somewhere on both of our lists.

This world is crazy > We only have 1 game in common with your 20 > TFMars! LOL All the rest we don't like (with no offense)! So many games, so many players ...
It is amazing how different collections can be! What are your top few?
Sea salt and paper is never not fun, expansion only makes it better

You guys need to get the old version of Village. That new one, that big box, that artwork is ugly.
I do get this. We are exactly the same when it comes to Kanban.
