Elbethium i only ever run the panel refresh if it is needed, such as if i start to see any banding that is obvious when watching regular TV or if there is some sort of irregularity with the screen.Otherwise if it all looks good then just leave it mate. Hey, good vid. I'm actually not a new user but for some reason I can't resist LG tv vids. I've noticed nobody seems to talk about what I think is a major tip for LG Oled owners in fear of screen burn. So if you hold down the voice activation microphone button on the remote the say "turn off screen" the screen will turn off while the tv stays on. Good option if you want your music or content to keep playing and you don't need to see the screen.
What an excellent bit of information especially considering you don't even own a an LG OLED, I like the fireplace display while playing Spotify through my AV, but everytime I want to do this I have to unsync my simple link in settings, but now when I want to turn the fireplace display off thanks 'to you' I can just ask it to turn the screen off instead!!! Nice one
Just bought a 65 B9, and excited to set it up. Little late to the game, lol, but I was able to afford one now. Thanks for all the vids. Really appreciate it!
Hey mate. not sure if you already mentioned this, but while you're playing any type of content on the LG C9, you can press the ... button on the remote, hit Info, and you will get display on the content you are watching. if it's Netflix, it will show the speed, video and audio codecs which is handy if you want to make sure your watching in 2160p.
Wow thanks for the tips I’ve had this tv for a couple months now and did not know that there were hidden tips the only thing I knew about was the plastic on the back I love the lg c9 best tv I’ve ever had
a tip for anyone reading this. hope it gets pinned maybe, might save someone some headache. if you have lost your tv remote, check your smartphone. chances are very big that you have the app on your phone preinstalled( Smart Remote on my mate 20 pro). once opened you find the type of the electronic you want to operate(works on number of different devices and appliances not just TV), the brand also. and on your phone you pretty much have all the buttons required to completely command your TV.
Funny enough i was going to mention the app but i have decided to cover that in a upcoming video where i will show how to install it along with the setup of Google assistant,Amazon Alexa and Apple AirPlay and show what you can and can’t do with them.

Are you a PC gamer? Would you consider using OLED as a PC monitor and let u sknow the progress? I'm thinking of doing the same once the 77'' drops in price.
You forgot to mention that these OLED TVs need storm and power outage protection because of their OLED nature. Their organic diodes needs to be connected to keep pixel refreshing when turned off, a power outage that happens a few times (even not so regularly) or maybe living in a house where the fuse box can be troublesome sometimes when too much weight is put on it and shuts off can easily shorten the OLED TV's life cycle. Did you also know that when you want to unplug the OLED TV to change its place (ex: take it from the living room to the bedroom) you can't just do that? You apparently need to wait 7-10 minutes for the pixel refresher to complete after you turn your TV off according to LG, you can though overcome this by getting a UPS and unplug/plug with it. This can be fixed by purchasing a UPS, that's why I've purchased one for my OLED TV. Such expensive device needs to be protected, a UPS is cheap.

Hi man , I love what ur doing it really helpful to consumers. I have a question if u would take time to answer pls. I have lg c9 oled and when watching films thru Netflix on the Netflix button it defaults to original picture setting and cant zoom it out to get rid of borders but when switch to virgin box I am able to zoom all direction to eliminate borders but lose picture quality in the process. Can u help me here pls ? I want to watch films without borders with the same quality.
Can I use tv stand which comes with B9 for C9? Cuz the stand comes with C9 is a bit too wide for my tv shelf and somehow I own B9 stand.
Good question, but unfortunately I have never actually fitted the stand so I couldn't say.
It might be worth checking out my unboxing videos of the B9 and C9 as I show the back of both TV's so you may be able to see if it is the same set up in regards to the stand fitted holes/cut outs.

Thanks for your great videos, love it. Could you tell me, how do you select auto pixel refresher on my LG OLED B9?
You don't have to select anything. It is a factory standard feature that will work in the background.

Hi Paul looking for your advice. I have a 55” B9 tv around 6 months old when turning the tv on I find for a few seconds I see a thin green line that runs from left to right at the bottom where the home menu would appear.. would you say tris is a faulty panel seems to be random when it does it I’ve done a pixel refresher which never made a difference :(
Considering you're my go-to guy 4 figuring out my OLED, I would've liked to have you on my home screen but unfortunately this doesn't work on my E8!
Fantastic, information. Thanks 😊 👍
New subscriber! I know this is a old video but it's a great help! I'm looking to buy it for my mum tomorrow, thanks!😊
