I've had an excellent two-year experience with my Nexon EV, a reliable mid-range electric vehicle. I have driven more than 11000 km with in 2.5 months we bought nexon ev on Jan 4 and on 5th jan we started our journey to kasol via Delhi from Patna Bihar . We had took it to Gangtok Darjeeling
I have tiago.ev which is driven 27000km just awesome product but there is some limitations of charging station but government and company working on it.
The range the user has mentioned is 300-350, which is typically the range of Nexon EV Max. So, it should take approx. 41 units to charge, not 30 as the user mentioned.
He charges at around 20-25% i guess. I think ac and other creature comforts cuts out at around that charge level. So 30 units is accurate to what he is saying.
After a lot of research online, EV is best option for daily city commuters. I understand infrastructure is growing, however for 2-3 tier cities & towns with no EV chargers and areas where electricity power cut issues are common, EVs still have long to go.
infrastructure can't grow much because there is not much space in india. if u only travel in city and it is possible to install a charger in your house only then is ev a good option for u. Otherwise it's a bad idea. as the number of evs increase it'll be almost impossible to find an empty charging point. Considering the number of cars in india and space constraints, it is almost impossible for every car to become ev.
@@manan-543 installing a charger at petrol pump dont need lot of space. last time i did a trip to Agra from chandigarh (500km one side) , there are chargers everywhere but EV will be widely accepted if we get chargers at petrol pumps. on delhi road , even dhabas/Restaurant have EV chargers.
I have old version Nexon petrol variant ok I thought This time In facelift Tata Must change c-piller with Glass like it's in Harrier and Safari. It's Feels Good For rear Passenger. It's Feels so Tight Like Rear Passenger seating in task completed But I hope Tata Work in Future and change C- piller to glass

rear view mirror is annoying because you cannot see the face of the rear car driver. The back of the car is too low so the rear view mirror is blocked from the expanded rear view. It is very essential during driving to understand the next step the rear car driver is planning to do using the rear view mirror but TATA Nexon is unable to provide it.

best EV in India is EC3 with a real range to 200 to 250 and price of 13.5 .... well ... its a good start ... TATA is trying its best ... but their service is really bad

I have very bad experience with Tata Nexon EV. After just completing 40000 km, my AC got complaint and checked with authorised work shop, they suggested to replace Ac compressor and chiller unit which cost will be 140000 Rs.

Nexon can’t get the range more than 220 km per full charge. Don’t mislead the buyer. I have bought prime and used it for almost 2 years and never got more then 200 km.

Fake review….. my nexon 2024 lr max goes 300km on Eco…30 percent city 70 percentage highway. Tata service centre says the range which you are getting is perfectly fine…. Second , the seats are not made for long trips. It’s too soft and the back pain starts after long time… Third there are plenty of software issues which cannot be fixed at service centre. Rest assured everything is working 😪

No worries before Tesla comes to India, Tata would have launched Curvv and than Tesla will have to fight very hard... Please note that Curvv will be first ground up EV so will be much better than EV based on existing ICE platforms
@@putaamit you might be right BUT every other global car manufacturers have accepted defeat. Ford mach E, VW ID series BMW I series etc. none are successful to appeal to the buyer. TATA needs to drastically improve if they want to scale and compete. at the end of the day, car market in india is tiny compared to china and western countries. will be interesting to see.

Majority of market sits in below 25 lakhs price segment so that is why Tata and Mahindra will always win in Indian market. I think there is change in motor , which is more efficient than ev max, Thats the reason why getting more mileage.

250 is max range, 421 clamed is in idle conditions with no AC .

@@putaamit you might be right BUT every other global car manufacturers have accepted defeat. Ford mach E, VW ID series BMW I series etc. none are successful to appeal to the buyer. TATA needs to drastically improve if they want to scale and compete. at the end of the day, car market in india is tiny compared to china and western countries. will be interesting to see.
@@chinmayau India is price a sensitive market and expensive brands have hard time here, Tesla will only launch vehicles priced around 30 lakhs. Majority of market sits in below 25 lakhs price segment so that is why Tata and Mahindra will always win in Indian market. Examples you quoted were on par in pricing with Tesla but here case is very unique and different
