I'll Play The Blues For You was written and recorded by Jerry Beach from Shreveport, La. He passed away in 2015. Albert King also recorded it. I have seen Jerry Beach perform it live many times.

Thank you for this video. It helps me a lot learning to play this song - on the bass. But as far as I know it's written by Jerry Beach, then covered by Albert King and I know and love it from Melvin Taylor since the 1980s. Thank you.

This song was written by the late Jerry Beach not Albert.
I believe you are missing the Bb (minor 3) chord in the turnaround. Thats what gives the character of the sound

My mistake. Jerry Beach passed away in January 2016.
