Discovered Joe's music when I was 90.
Am now 91 and starting every day with Joe's music.. love it.fantastic!
God bless you, music has no limits!
I do not believe that, people your age are into brass bands and instrumentals, not good music like this.
You´ve got good taste, miss!
I wuz a mere 71 when I 1st heard him on a jukebox at an American Legion post. Jumped over to see who this guy was on the display, and had goosebumps on my skin. Never thought I'd hear someone to equal Albert King. WOW ! Love those blooz...
@@petermaxmueller2114 Great, it is wonderful when something like that happens, he certainly has the skills, the voice and the personality and he is keeping the blues alive on his blues cruises with other amazing musicians💙👌🇬🇧👈
I'm 77 years old and I love Joe Bonama
I'm a 105 year old man and discovered Joe when I was 95. Still giving me the goosebumps. He may be the greatest bluesman of all time
Presently Bonamassa is the Emperor of blues. Way ahead of the pack.
The fact he is playing and singing Albert King's song while playing Albert's guitar and having Stevie's keyboard, piano player, Reece Wynan on board just fills me with gratitude and is a great way to honor Albert and Stevie. I love this guy. Go Joe! Play the Blues for us!
He also has David Bowie's bass player
A PROLIFIC STATEMENT, YOU ARE THE BOMB, LADY!
And playing Alberts guitar upside down like Albert did, just saw Joe and band last fall at Red Rocks
Love your comment, love Joe and Reese and all of them really, they are definitely keeping the blues alive and having a ball doing it.💙😁
Which Stevy please? I could be wrong but it looks to me like Steve Winwood.
This boy fell into a giant barrel of blues as a child...he didn't drown...he drank it all...
One of the best comments I've seen about JB. And brought a huge grin to my face. Too true!
Beautifully said.. Liz from Aus
The fact more people aren’t acknowledging Kirk Fletcher hurts me… he’s got such an emotional sound to his guitar playing.
Everyone in this world plays the blues for someone... and that's a good thing...
I'm 68yrs old and I love blues, rock, folk, county, blue grass there's not much I don't like but I can listen to the this guy all day 🎸🎸
and all night....
I'm 66 and I feel the same as you.... I even started playing electric bass several years ago. I played acoustic guitar all my life... I'm having a blast!!
Dennis, I am 76 and right beside you! Get to see Joe at the Hult Center in Eugene, Or. on 10/16 and am counting down the days! It just can't get better!
so could I he is truly amazin....( an I m 74 ) I d like to see him team up for a gig with Joanne Shaw taylor
Dennis; 🎸⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍
I lost my father two days ago... Now I´m not just can appreciate the blues, now I can feel it. Dad, I miss you.
I’m sorry to hear about your loss man. Praying for a sense of peace
Condolences to you.
@@marcustate3513 Many thanks, gob bless you.
@@rgause100 Thanks, god Bless you!
Hang in there. Grief has all kinds of tasks. Kind of like phases. Sadness, disbelief, anger, bargaining, and acceptance. Takes time and it's on Your schedule. Don't get upset if you go back and forth or skip around. I lost my husband of 20 years almost a year ago. I can never know how you feel, but I can relate. Take care, guy, you know how your Dad would expect you to be.
I’m 80 and can’t get enough of JB
Do you regognise the guitar ?
This brilliant guitar riff never gets old, it's like wine, it gets better with age
Amazing Voice and guitars! Bonamassa the best music
Bonamassa amazing voice! and guitarist!!❤ Blues forever! I love you Blues!🤟✌️👍✊️👏🙏 God bless!
65 year old Dylan, Byrd's fan . But this guy is best guitar soloist and his friend has nothing to lean, Great showman and band, the singers are fantastic......
Reese Wynans rips the keyboard in a classic fashion. The man is a legend. Couldn't be happier to see him teamed up with Joe.
Amen to that. Love his work on Captain Beyond 's "Sufficiently Breathless."
I saw a video of SRV from the '80s the other day, with Reese on the keyboards. I could certainly hear that it was him, but would have NEVER guessed it based on appearances. GOD, IT MADE ME FEEL OLD! He hasn't lost a step.
Yes indeed he is amazing, look at his fingers I've never seen fingers so long, he must be an alien 👽
@@gamechanger4973 Wynans is one of, if not the best, blues keyboardists there ever was. I’m a huge SRV fan and have been watching him since the 80’s. He makes playing keyboard looks as easy as SRV played the guitar!
When SRV Put Reece in the line up,Double Trouble was complete,He doing the same for Joes band...
Holy shit!…I’m 71 years old…how did I never hear this until 4 weeks ago…outrageous ❤️🍸
My uncle passed a month ago, and Joe Bonamassa was his absolute favorite! He did listen to this man till the day he died! And as we are going through his house, we are finding everything with his name on it: Joe Bonamassa for life!
I’m 74 long live the blues & rock & roll

I am 85 and love his music!
Also folk and western!
This is a delight!!!
With you all the way marion happy days

Check out his band members. Hires real experience. Top shelf. These guys are good. Image seeing Joe Live. Awesome

That's Reese Wynans on the keyboard. He was SRV's keyboard player. So nice to see him again!
I’m 71 years old…omg…I love this❤❤❤❤❤Every single member!! So professional and incredibly excellent.
I listen to this song at least once a day. Brings me back to better times when there was none of this madness. Thank you Joe.
Snap!
There's no music better.
Friend, there was never none of this madness.
It starts in the heart of humankind and our disobedience.
It's just all up in our faces every day.
Corey Stevens also does an excellent version of this song. Worth checking out.....
i love how he lets the other guy have a moment to shine
And he lets Reese Wynans have a solo. Wonderful. Reese is freaking genius.
He is the greatest around today, no one can touch him
Isnt it common in a blues band to have many different solos ? Bb King did the exactly same thing. A band plays together. Everyone is important.
The ''other guy'' is one of the best blues players around: Kirk Fletcher.

Paso Robles 2019. Your manager and producer stopped in my cookie shop. They were cool AF and comped my tickets. You’re absolutely the best. Look in the faces of the crowd, you’re taking them to a place, friendly, exciting, and thrilling. We all need that. You’re a gift.
Putting any Sax with a lead guitar is always the potion. Joe doesn't spare a note and what a spectacular supporting cast.
This is not the type of music you search for, it finds you.
Mr. MIKAYILOV. Born in St Louis, East St Louis across the river, that search was very short to find me.
Quite literally , this tune found me deep into a dive into music. Incredible
That is so very true!! I was reading a book and the character was starting a trip and put on Joe Bonamassa. I'd never heard the name so I immediately looked him up. Now I can't go to sleep because I do not want to stop listening. I also love Beth Hart. What a voice!!!
There it is!! ✊🏽
Amen brother, I am 78 years old.Always ❤️ the blues. 2 weeks ago my hubby and me got to see Joe live, what a show!! I'll play his music 🎶 everyday. A natural high.

Joe Bonamassa feels the music. That´s what everyone should do.
It's an amazing tribute. And he's playing Albert's guitar. Doesn't get any better than this.

Old school sounds are like a good Breeze that never stop blowing.
Man you can just feel the love they have for the music, and Albert King and Stevie. Soul music. Comes from the soul, and feeds the soul.
The older Bonamassa gets, the better. Just like wine.
Sweet 😊😌💕

That's how it is supposed to work...just like cheese and fine wine.

You can learn to play the blues, but there's those that have that feel for the guitar. They can play anything...
The man plays crisp and sharp yet indwelling smoothness.
listen to it with Daniel Catro. it's fabulous
I'm watching this, again, in January of 2021. In my opinion Live at The Greek Theater is his finest.

Why are so many (old dudes)feeling it necessary to give there age when leaving comments? The amount of talent on that stage is just absurd. Love every second of it.
Keyboard player came from Stevie Ray Vaughn band. Watched them live in Baltimore, What a show
Reese Wyans was SRV keyboardist
@Stac Master Reese Wynans became a member of Joe Bonamassa’s blues band in 2015. Wynans had already played with Bonamassa before, appearing on the studio album Different Shades of Blue and the live album Muddy Wolf at Red Rocks.
In Bonamassa’s Band Reese is using the exact same B3 and Leslie’s that “Stevie found”, and this sound has become so integral to the music that he’s truly a corner stone of Joe’s band.

OMG he has Albert Kings guitar. This guy is one of the new greats, he will live forever as both a creator and as a true conduit of the spirit of the blues.
On first glance, I thought "Oh, that's cool, he's playing a vintage Flying V as a tribute to Albert". Then I looked a little more closely and thought "Holy shiiiit!!!!!".
Oh yes that guitar deserves to see the light and audience and be played again like Joe plays it.. not meant to gather dust in someone's collection after the great original owner is gone
Lucille? You own her? S.R.V.
My first reaction was... it's a handmade guitar by Hans Pluut from the Netherlands ! ( Born in Oisterwijk and pretty young moved to Amsterdam. We did grow up together. ) His first build guitar was seriously looking like Lucy ! Wondering who's playing the Pluut guitar now ?
His tone is unrivalled today
Gives me chills
The man is an outstanding talent
Bonamassa 👑 of 💙
Wow, brilliant. He is one of the few that can play a creative blues solo that is going somewhere spot on. Fantastic tone.
Joe and Reese are both "sonic assassins". The best musicians I've ever heard. Thanks for the music of the kings.
I can remember going to a small house show many years ago to see Lonesome George and the opener was a "kid you need to pay attention to" and it was Joe...he wasn't kidding...
Omgosh!!! He’s been playing since he was about 3 yrs old
Joe Bonamasa is a musical genius! He feels music like no other musician making his performances magical. Play on Joe, play on! 🎸🎵🎶🎵🎸
I know Joe bonamassa might never see this comment, but I have to say I envy this man and his skill that he has on a guitar. I don't care if it's an acoustic. I don't care if it's an electric. This man can throw hands on a guitar that are just out of this world and his voice no. Homo is great. Easily hands down one of my absolute all-time favorite artist of today, whether he's doing his own music or whether he's doing cover for say b.b King. This man I have to say would be on my bucket list of people to see in concert of the artist that I have been exposed to over the years. Yes, there's a crap ton of amazing artists. Whether they have a name for themselves like Joe bonamassa or whether it be somebody who's just trying to get there career started. Joe bonamassa is one of my absolute favorites. I wish I had this man skill. I wish I could do what he does. Joe bonamassa, you are a true legend in my book and my favorite thing about you is that you feel like as though your bandmates whoever you might be playing with at that time are better than you. That's just a lot about your character in my book because the truth is man. You're an absolute guitar. God to me just like BB King just like Eric Captain. You're absolutely incredible man. I don't care what nobody says negative about you. You're an amazing artist. My friend does not enough good. Not enough positive. I could say about you, my friend
😂😂😂😂😂😂 I can't understand that you can think this crap is great. He are playing so sloppy that my dad csn play better. It schould be a crime to make that kind of crappy solo. And the temp are fast. Well can you explaine why he always play whit sunglasses on
This is one of the sexiest songs I ever heard. Saw him in Richmond, Va a year ago and did not disappoint!!!❤❤
Joe makes that guitar sing the blues like no one I ever heard.❤
"Ain't no big star..."
Just superb blues. Thanks, Joe!!!
The man on the organ is enjoying every second.
How amazing to play an old Albert King but on an original Albert King Lucy, made by Dan Erlewine, and a truly remarkable remake of the song…. So much passion and soul!!
Cижу сейчас в каких-то 15 метрах от маэстро на концерте в Порт Честере и проверяю уши, чтобы не свернулись в спираль ;)

Hope not, that would not be good. Listen to Markus King, or Derek Trucks. They can play blues, Joe is just a rock player...
Gary Moore
Saw him here in Dorset, England many years ago when he was probably just a teen? Great even then.
I first heard this genius on PBS live at Royal Albert Hall. I was walking across my living room and came on and it literally stopped me in my tracks and I could not get enough of Joe! And I have shared his music with everyone that would let me.
Just saw him. Sorry, but I don’t agree. He shares the stage gracefully and openly acknowledged the talent of his band.
Same the world needs more joe
Going down great to bring all the great onws, back tight band
This is my jams
Getting older and starting to appreciate that genre more
This man is brilliant he does his own busines,as well!!
Great sounds a classic whisky make a great night
I have seen joe 3 times in the last 3 years!! His guitar playing is top notch. The band is so tight. I grew up in the sixties and was lucky enough to see Hendrix twice. Not comparing but I do know blues and killer rock and roll!! Joe is one of the most accomplished guitarist I have ever seen!! Keep it up, Joe!!
Try Gary Moore
@@Leo-uc8zv ^
Hendrix was authentic, an innovator and trendsetter. However, there was nothing "tight" about him! 😆 Bonamassa stands on the shoulders of Hendrix and many others, but he's a much better musician and vocalist than Hendrix ever was..... imho!
I don't compare musicians to each other it is an art form and everyone expresses themselves Hendrix might not have been tight but he always sounded to me and I never liked music that was over produced or overtight I always liked a live man feeling and Hendrix did that for me
I never get sick of this version. It's hard to imagine it without those background singers. That's the cherry on top.
see him live...oh my god
He should have 10 million followers
Joe Bonamassa is well-known for an opening for B.B. King. When B.B. King first began playing, the audience fell silent for a time when they realized it was the kid who was making the sounds. The audience went berserk when the truth was revealed, and Bonamassa has been performing in front of large crowds ever since.
