Interesting that he mentions the process by which proteins are made in the cell.
That process involves a system comprised of a hierarchy of interdependent layered symbols. A symbol is something that represents something other than itself. Atheists assume that this system assembled itself. That is entirely implausible.
Humans created the letter "A" to represent something other than itself -- a sound that humans make. String together a series of letters and a "word" is created. A word represents something other than itself. Letters and words can only be created by an observer who can observe BOTH the symbols and the objects that they represent.
Nucleotides existed long before humans assigned letters to them.
Nucleotides are the elementary symbols in DNA which, when strung together in a series, represent something other than itself -- a codon. In turn, a codon represents something other than itself -- an amino acid. A group of codons represents something other than itself -- a protein.
Nucleotides are not observers. Codons are not observers. Amino acids are not observers. Proteins are not observers. They know nothing about one another, other than their immediate interaction and the task to which they've been assigned.
Only a *conscious observer* can organize such a system, because he stands apart from it and understands the totality of its operation and ultimate purpose.
Sir Karl Popper had something interesting to say along these lines:
"What makes the origin of life and of the genetic code a disturbing riddle is this: the genetic code is without any biological function unless it is translated: that is, unless it leads to the synthesis of the proteins whose structure is laid down by the code. But the machinery by which the cell translates the code consists of at least fifty macromolecular components which are themselves coded in the DNA. Thus the code cannot be translated except by using certain products of its translation. This constitutes a baffling circle; a really vicious circle, it seems, for any attempt to form a model or theory of the genesis of the genetic code. Thus we may be faced with the possibility that the origin of life (like the origin of physics) becomes an impenetrable barrier to science, and a residue to all attempts to reduce biology to chemistry and physics." -- Sir Karl Popper

For the average Joe, people with PHD’s can be intimidating. Men like you command respect and you have the attention of other scientists. Scientists are perhaps closer to understanding the language and machinery of God than most other people. Their unfortunate irony is that most don't realize they are studying God's work the entire time.

If you are unwilling to believe in the Creator of Everything; God the Father and His Son; Jesus then you are doomed to be deceived into believing in evolution and ETs (aliens) as our progenitors….
