How these bikes stay in one piece is beyond me. What a pounding.
they have a team of mechanics that tear them down and rebuild after every session. But that's only the top sponsored riders. Maintenance on these bikes is one f he hardest things to deal with. It's 10x he maintenance as a regular XC bike. I get about 10 days worth of DH riding on my rear tire. Tires can cos upwards of $100.
Watching the racers launch themselves over, and sometimes into, a rock garden is INSANE!
