Lmao 😂. What actually happened is that Ron was feeling like the tag along. He was thinking he was the useless friend there to distract or the one that wasn’t needed. He didn’t think that those to were together romantically, he thought that those two needed each other than either of them needed him because they did the spells without Ron, they saved the day (most of the time) without him and other stuff. He didn’t feel wanted and that’s why he flipped out. I have been in his position before that’s why I know what this scene is really about. But good joke😂

It _did_ affect him more so than Ron and Hermione, but he says that it wasn't an excuse for his actions, - and not the only reason he was jealous, he was having those thoughts anyway.

I feel like sometimes Ron didn't feel included. I mean Hermione and Harry really did have a strong relationship. Harry always "saved the day" and Ron just wanted to be that hero for so long. BTW- Ron is one of the best actors in the show!!!!!!

No in the books it’s the complete opposite - Harry & Ron are best friends and Hermione is the extra friend AND Ron& Hermione spent more time without Harry bc he has Quidditch practice, then they become prefects together without Harry, whenever Harry has the oclumencylessons with Snape or Dumbledore they are alone together.. not the other way around.
Harry & Ron were still the closets since they are both boys and also shared the same interests whereas Hermione always studied or do research and kinda did her own thing right next to them. Y‘all need to read the books. It’s also not Harry that saves the day - he always just has luck or help from someone, mostly Dumbledore or a teacher or his friends (that never get enough credit) but he gets all the credit ..🙄
Hermione & Ron literally always fight on his side from the beginning and there help is left out so often .. they saved the day as well. In book 1 Harry gets the credit when Ron is the one getting knocked out so Harry can continue, Hermione the one solving the quiz.. in book 2 Hermione finds out about the basilic and get stoned and Ron gets down with Harry together to save his sister. Book 3 Ron got a broken leg and they are both on his side.. book 4 Harry only wins bc the false moody made sure he would win. Book 5 - they all fought in the ministry (Ron, Hermione, Luna, Ginny & Neville) .. book 6 again all of them, book 7 again all of them..

They are both boys and even sleep in the same room and Hermione was way more often the 3rd wheel.
Whether it’s Harry & Ron together or Ron & Hermione (they were often left alone together when Harry had Quidditch practice, extra Lessons with Snape or Dumbledore, became prefects together etc.. they got some time where Harry wasn’t around also later when Harry’s was still at the Dursleys)
If Ron hadn't left, Harry would have drowned to death while getting the Gryffindor Sword. So Ron leaving was Murphy's Law ' Whatever has to happen will happen'. So, The very locket that tried to kill Harry ultimately ended up saving Harry from itself.
