If you are willing to finish it then the only thing that will stop you is your drive to finish the mod. No executive has power over you. Unless lawyers get involved, but that would be REAL dumb for Blizzard to force your project to shut down and deny people like me a reason to buy the game. Cause I voted with my wallet and refused to support the obvious crap they were trying to shovel at us fans but this mod makes me want to actually throw money at Blizzard again just so I can experience it.
This is incredible. Warcraft 2 was my first RTS and I've been waiting for a remake for so long. Seeing characters like Doomhammer, Lothar, Zul'jin and Cho'gall being remade with such great detail, taking both the original Metzen's Warcraft 2 concept arts and the Heroes of the Storm versions into consideration, is amazing. 10/10.

The last battle of both Azeroth's champions in the war: Anduin Lothar & Orgrim Doomhammer is incredible. But if the Siege of Lordaeron would be made like Battle of Helm's Deep in "LOTR: TT" or Battle of the Pelennor Fields in "LOTR: RotK", it would be beyond any words.

It's not only about the effort , it is also a fact about layers of communications needed to do something in big companies and the freedom of creation itself. This is why indie developers come out with more original ideas than corporations, because they don't have like 5-6 layers of communication needed to make something cool.

The horde have the 3 mortal enemies of the horde: 1- Trolls: Even if they don't hare the jungle trolls, elves are racist af. 2- Orcs: The same that burn forest of the elves and kill many generations of them. Also the reason of why alleria, vereesa and other elves join the battle with the humans. 3- Undeath: Yeah they are the forsaken, not the lick king undeath... but that matters? not even more humble races will accept the difference in just a few years after undeath kill 98% of they population, that's not even close in real life lmao.

Classic was still reverent to the lore, but Burning Crusade out the gate gave us Trolls and Elves fighting side by side, and Tiefling Draenei who Kael'thas suddenly decided to attack for no reason. Also the orcs are green because of fel corruption, I guess Drek'thar, Hellscream, and literally EVERY orc character alive at the time forgot to mention that. I was skeptical of this at first, but seeing the work put in blew me away! Wishing you the best of luck on this. If this and Re-Reforged are fully realized, that might make Reforged actually worth it.
Just played through the four initial demo missions and I must say I really enjoyed it. It maintains the old charm and enhances the old gamestyle of Warcraft 2 (including the hero unit system) without losing that nostalgia feel. I cannot wait to see the final release version! You guys deserve more spotlight and praise.
I had to comment on this. I have read most of the wow books, played all RTS originally, and wow for years. It's crazy that blizzard can't accomplish something like this. Like you fucking embarrassed them with this absolute masterpiece. From the dialogue lines to the level design, to the sheer amount of detail and lore Blizzard should be ashamed that true fans produce higher quality then professionals can. I would of paid retail price for this. Bravo!

Im the only one who has problem with white units and cant see the great hall and other texture problems in the game? Fresh install of Wc3, v 1.36.1, downloaded this custom campaign, put it in the right folder, downloaded the CSW_installer and loaded the TOD_Campaign_Assets, rebooted the computer and still does not work properly. I checked video and HD and everything is on. Any suggestions?

I think these were forest trolls. Also, up till BFA, Horde included just 1 troll tribe.
