Awesome product, bought it on day one. Just as an addition as you didn’t mention it: you can even export your settings as an own IR to use it in every plugin, hardware modeler etc. 🤘🏻
Best metal IR plugin out there still. And it was the first IR plugin I ever experienced that modeled the fredman dual 57 technique made popular by swedish melo-death bands of the 90s. The obvious one being In Flames, in particular the Clayman tone which gets held up in reverence as one of the greatest recorded metal tones ever. Over 20 years later and metal heads everywhere have chased after that tone with nearly the same vigor that people chased after EVH's tone from VH1 and VH2.
Really good video man, song is really cool. Plugin sounds great, I got it and am delighted with it. I use the ndsp nolly so I like to turn off the cab and fx in the amp sim get the cab dialed in in the cali plugin then export the ir and then load that ir back into the amp sim and remove the cali plugin. I just like to do everything in the amp sim. So works a treat. I also got the rexx amp sim and am doing the same trick and its killer. The rexx and cali plungins come in at €53 and sounds so good.
Maybe I missed it, what load box did you use? Also have you done a shootout between different load boxes such as The Ox Box, Suhr and Two Notes? Would love to see that if possible

Mesa Cabs are my favorite cabs of all time, so I played around until I found a tone I really liked (I like the Thick Cab with a C141 and KM184, mixed with an Upfront Cab with an SM57). It was the tone I had always been searching for and with this plugin, my search was finally over.
They are great videos, the whole v30 thing is such a deep rabbit hole. Did you see the videos nolly and rebea massad are doing demoing the plugin... if not check em out, it's on the gdd channel, so much lovely speaker nerd talk it's great and a big insight into the plugin

Bought this on launch and outside of getting different speakers, this is the perfect recreation of every V30 sound you could want imo

For me this Cali Plugin sound more natural than the most Mesa IRs out there! AND thats the reason i use it a lot!
