+RySome how do you move about in survival, jetpacks run out of hydrogen in 2 seconds on a planet grav field which would make movement within that ship impossible
+RySome Very cool concept but the fact that you said that there is 100 % oxygen worries me for the fact that 100 % oxygen can kill you in real life. So low oxygen with Nitrogen and other various gasses would be more realistic and less deadly :)
I love the way you edit this video. You seem like you're actually selling a car with it. Even though the texts you put at the bottom are so simple, it actually makes everything else look sleek. Nice nice nice!! I WANT MORE!!
Dude im speechless. how do you not have thousands of subs, this video was so well put together. im new to the channel and im subscribing. Well done. im just.... speechless
RySome Do you know this moment a door opens, with tons of cool stuff in it. A door which was there for a long time? Im having one like this right now :D A friend of mine told me "get space engineers" and i wasn't paying attention. Now I regret it! Great work and subbed!
I love your ship, it's amazing. I like very much the colours you paint it. And finally, thanks for your English: I'm Spanish and normally I've problems to understand the videos (my englisg level are not good), but with you, I've understood almost everything.
I love how this thing can hover with either atmo or hydrogen thrusters alone. The design is great and I'm using it as the gold standard for my builds (i'm dumb.) The hangar bays are pretty small though.
Nero's Galactic Empire Good point. Though I do wonder if the devs will make a feature to upgrade your jetpack hydrogen time or upgrade your inventory size for example. Maybe make a mega suit that can walk. Have yet to make one... hope it's possible.
Lord Cylarne Maybe they looked a bit dodgy? it can be hard to do ladders well in games. (They weren't in when I first got SE, but that wasn't *that* long ago)
+ParaglidingManiac I wouldn't feel too bad, space engineers is constantly evolving and slowly performance is getting better. I personally have a pretty good graphics card (gtx 970 sc), and that seems to be where all my performance comes from. Also, optimizing your settings for your environment. For example, the game will run far better if all the settings are on the lowest, and only certain things are turned up to his or medium. Personally, texture quality and antialiasing are my most important settings, so usually they are on high, whilst every other settings are on low or medium.
If you can reach space (0 gravity) you can also land with any ship, but I would recommend remembering the speeds on different gravitational levels, so when landing you can slowdown to dose speeds according to take off. For example if the speed down is too high at 0.70 gravity for your thrusts, you won't slowdown, and crash : ).
do certain thrusters allow for faster max speeds and/or faster acceleration? and do ships move faster in planets' atmospheres or in space? just curious for a ship like this an trying to balance the different types of thrusters
Unfortunately the thrusters all have the same vanilla max speed or 104.5 m/s, however they do have different accelerations and properties. The hydrogen thrusters , the yellow ones, have the best acceleration and the strongest thrust, and they can work in atmosphere and in space. The atmospheric can only work well in the lower atmosphere but the ion thrusters, the blue ones, work really well in space but ions cannot be used on a planet. Despite all that, Draygo's atmospheric mod creates proper atmospheres on planters and allows for different max speeds depending on location. Hope that helps! :D
I'm building this ship in survival currently, and holy shit, this took a LOT of iron to make and it's a shame that I can't finish the ion thruster because of my lack of platinum. Hopefully the hydrogen thrusters will be able to get me to the moon.
The inside look cool, the view from the cockpit looks great, the hangars are excellent for small ships! The only thing that I do not like is the look of the ship from the outside. Great ship!!!
I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!! 1. It looks nice 2. It`s producable in survival 3. It`s not exaggerated at all But I have a question: How did you do that with the oxygen??
Love your Videos! Do not like your Outro :D It scares me everytime. The ship is amazing! Can not wait to download it and explore some planets :) I just subscribed hopeing for more good content like this to come :)
is there any mods? I built one in survival but only By thrusters were finished. Ion thrusters I do not have platinum to finish but the side thrusters do not even start to be built they are just projected. any help?
This is a great build and i love it especially in my main survival world but i have one little pet hate about it. There are not any external connectors to link up with a base or larger ship. Would be greatly appreciated if you did an official modification for it to have this external connection.
Love that ship, it's my all day experimental ship. Takes a beating without falling into pieces at once, has space - uhm, I rebuilt the bridge and the hangars take the rest of the stuff, BUT... The engineering room could be more accessible. That thing crashlanded, rolled over, pirates shoot at it and I just could go on with only minor fast repairs - well, the pirates' destroyer was a close call, but the jump drive still worked :D So, it's my first choice if I want to try out new things. Sometimes I forget that I am able to build ships myself :D If you see a Hydrolite Experimental somewhere, it's surely something with 20 additional mini jump-drives or a stargate or something like that and loaded with programmable blocks ;)
+Mitchell Holtzer-Steiner It took me about a week of on and off working. I went through about 27 different iterations before I settled on this version.
I don't have the game myself (but I'm considering picking it up), but one thing I want to know is can any size ship go back and forth between space and a planet? For instance, if I just build a small 'fighter' size ship, would that ship still be capable of going from planetside to space and back again, or would I need to specifically build a ship just for the sake of going to and from space from a planetary surface? Also, is it possible to go from Creative mode to Survival and back again with the same 'world'?
Technically speaking, yes. A small ship much like a large one or even just you can travel between planet to planet. It's more of a question of safety. Also I'm pretty sure only large ships can hold jump drives, which will drastically speed up transportation.
I've got all of your ships, and my god, there amazing!! One Tiny Request: A HUGE Carrier ship capable of holding lots of Ravens and smaller. I am talking like 18+ Ravens. I know it seems like a lot, but I could never replicate your wonderful work! Looking forward to your next release!! Sincerely, Noah
Beautiful ship indeed ! Two remarks on the same problem: how do get in when your jetpack is empty, and same question for vertical corridors. My 7 second hydrogen jetpack will likely be empty most of the time on planets. One theory would be that you need a small ship at all times to board.
+xamtheone Hmm that's a tough one. I guess the solution would have to be small ships. I really don't want to have to put moving parts though just b/c of how buggy they are. The consensus is we need ladders back!!
The design is really awesome, the only thing i dont like is that you have to walk through the cargo bay (when i can call it like that) to get to the cockpit. I prefer hidint them or making a cargo bay in the back... no clue why, i just like my cargo bays in the back. I think i had changed the places of the cryochambers and the containers. Just personal taste. My question: How do you plan your builds? Do you have a whole ship in your mind from the beginning or just some ideas? Do you start with the interior and watch how the exterior can look like afterwards or do you start outside and try to put everything you need where you can find space.... i know people who do both of it and both works, but no clue which is easier ^^
+cragethGER Well sorry for the late response, awesome question though! This particular build started with a single shape that I built out into the whole top of the ship, and eventually the entire ship. However, my recommendation would be to start with what you want out of the ship; if you want a functional ship put all of the technical blocks in first (reactors, engines, cargo, refineries, etc.). If you want a more stylish, or aesthetics-based ship, work on the overall shape, details, color themes and style. Though, I believe, that the best of ships are created when both of these methods are used simultaneously. When it comes to planning a ship, definitely have a sense of what you want to achieve. Building is fun and all, but it's chaotic and unenjoyable (for me at least) if you fail to plan. All in all, keep it methodical. Think it out and you'll end up in a good spot. Hope that helps :DP.S. Find inspiration, Google images is your friend!
Like the ships, but you had thruster damage disabled? Or was there a change, as the Raven did not seem to damage the Hydrolite. This was always something I disliked, that a landing pad would over the time always be damaged and must be taken care of after nearly every start/land.
Nope! The landing pad fairs wells against the thrusters. It doesn't meltdown, especially with a ship such as the raven. I did grind down the blocks in the center for aesthetics however. You shouldn't have many issues!
It's an amazing ship its a bit big for a lander but too much cargo space I'm assuming maybe one of the cargo floor could be something else but the ship is great !
Ship's exterior looks like it is heavily cell-shaded, thanks to thick grey borders and bright white panels. Due to that some scenes from this video look like they were lifted straight from some anime.
BmillTheGamer They have lights on them, however they don't light the surroundings (you can see the lights really well in the dark, but you can't see the actual walls or anything else)
Why use the hydrogen thrusters for liftoff? Why not use the atmo thrusters to take you up as far as they can then use the hydrogen thrusters so you can save fuel?
+Kuzi You can use either ones individually, or both. I was just showing off that they exists. They can be especially useful when reentering or excaping the upper atmosphere
I love the cockpit layout, the hangars look pretty nice and the whole ship's exterior reminds me of a smaller version of the S.T.A.G. ship from Saints Row 3. The name escapes me at the moment. Anyway, love the ship, the Raven looks like a mini-me of ur ship. Heheh! Nice job guys. d :) b Keep up the good work.
+Fahim Zahir Like IRL or survival? Both would be cool! if you're more interested in crafts in real life that do similar things (i.e. achieve orbit) check out SSTO's or Single Stage To Orbit craft! Really neat stuff! :D
Interesting in that the design concept is very similar to my interplanatary ship i am working on however your interior design is better and your hangar bay looks bigger than mine despite mine being bigger (4x8 entrance with extra space inside). One flaw of your design is that without wheels it is very easy to damage it while landing but just stuffing 4 big static wheels on the lower sides (align so the bottom is with landing gear) helps landing so you dont need to spend an hour to get a perfect landing. With static wheels you actually dont need landing gears if you hate them and if they tend to explode and they keep the ship in place on a slope without landing gears. I use the azimuth mod mainly because their hydrogen tanks are entirely airtight on the top and bottom. Since you have an interplanatary ship have you considered a lower hangar bay with ramp for wheeled vehicles? The ramp doesnt need to be airtight as you would use the hangar doors for that.
Hydrolite.
Sounds like a sports drink XD
+BingtheLizard Ikr! Hydro = Hydrogen/Water/Oxygen and lite would be like "It has low fat content so you can have more energy!
by the "Hydro" part I thought it was going to be a submarine
or even a boat
+BingtheLizard comes whit electrolytes
It is, lol
This and your drop ship look like something that would be in the movie Elysium. They are really great! Good job.
thanks
+RySome how do you move about in survival, jetpacks run out of hydrogen in 2 seconds on a planet grav field which would make movement within that ship impossible
Thrash _ no, if you have it on and try to use it.
+RySome it won't spawn for me
+RySome Very cool concept but the fact that you said that there is 100 % oxygen worries me for the fact that 100 % oxygen can kill you in real life. So low oxygen with Nitrogen and other various gasses would be more realistic and less deadly :)
Why does it feel like he's trying to sell me a car?
ikr
he is
Because you are walking off the lot with a set of keys in hand.
Looks so cool!!! I wish I understood this game better because making a ship like this is not an easy task.
Well done, it's the most beautiful ship that I've even see
+Luca Passoni Thanks! :D
Awesome design and the Flight Deck has an amazing view.
Good Job mate this ship is simple yet absolutely brilliant well done!
I love the way you edit this video. You seem like you're actually selling a car with it. Even though the texts you put at the bottom are so simple, it actually makes everything else look sleek. Nice nice nice!! I WANT MORE!!
Thanks! I'm glad you like the new style! There will be more so stay tuned!
Already am.
Such an amazing ship and I love the professional tone of the video! You earned an extra subscriber :D
That is gorgeous. Had to have taken a bit of time to work on. Great idea.
Thanks!
Really nice ship and that cockpit is just beautiful.
+Newer more Thanks!
Dude im speechless. how do you not have thousands of subs, this video was so well put together.
im new to the channel and im subscribing.
Well done.
im just.... speechless
+recklessr3gg13 Amazing! Glad you love the video, it means a lot to me! Thanks for the sub, and welcome to the channel!
+RySome no problem, and its good to be part of the family
I think you made me buy this game. Your ship is awesome, I didn't even knew this game was this amazing!
+Echtvergoldet Haha, thanks a bunch man, glad you love the game!
RySome Do you know this moment a door opens, with tons of cool stuff in it. A door which was there for a long time? Im having one like this right now :D
A friend of mine told me "get space engineers" and i wasn't paying attention.
Now I regret it!
Great work and subbed!
Echtvergoldet Awesome! welcome to the channel and the community!
this ship looked so small at first but holy crap it's huge
We need more drop ships like this
This ship is impressive man, good work.
omg this ship is by far one of my favorite ships I've ever seen I looks so clean and symmetrical I came in my pants XD but seriously I love it
The door solution at 2.05 is amazing
I love your ship, it's amazing.
I like very much the colours you paint it.
And finally, thanks for your English: I'm Spanish and normally I've problems to understand the videos (my englisg level are not good), but with you, I've understood almost everything.
I love how this thing can hover with either atmo or hydrogen thrusters alone. The design is great and I'm using it as the gold standard for my builds (i'm dumb.) The hangar bays are pretty small though.
Ohhh hey a wild RCSP - Raven Appeared!! love the Hydrolite and that amazing view from the bridge...so pretty!! I LOVE IT RATE 11/10
haha, thanks
would love to see the elevator tested with planets :) I tried to do it myself but I am no good with the creative mode and kept causing it to fall over
One problem. How do you get up to the hangars (in survival) without a walk way? Jetpacks die out fast especially at that height...
+Lord Cylarne the key thing about this is space engineering you see a problem get around it and fix it sure other than that the ship is awsome.
Nero's Galactic Empire
Good point. Though I do wonder if the devs will make a feature to upgrade your jetpack hydrogen time or upgrade your inventory size for example. Maybe make a mega suit that can walk. Have yet to make one... hope it's possible.
+Lord Cylarne or hopefully.... add ladders?
James Hansen
Ladders were taken out for some reason. I hope they will be back.
Lord Cylarne
Maybe they looked a bit dodgy? it can be hard to do ladders well in games.
(They weren't in when I first got SE, but that wasn't *that* long ago)
I wish Space Engineers would run just as smooth on my system. And I have a pretty good PC. What's your secret?
+ParaglidingManiac I wouldn't feel too bad, space engineers is constantly evolving and slowly performance is getting better. I personally have a pretty good graphics card (gtx 970 sc), and that seems to be where all my performance comes from.

RySome
Got it. Thank you for a reply!
+RySome So, this game isn't CPU intensive????
+BigBoss 1225 I think the game is bad optimizied.
get a gtx 1080
If you can reach space (0 gravity) you can also land with any ship, but I would recommend remembering the speeds on different gravitational levels, so when landing you can slowdown to dose speeds according to take off.

An awesome looking design, and nice presentation of it!
+Chris Wells Thanks a bunch!
What a gorgeous ship!
Nice ship dude keep up the creativity!
Wow man, your design is just amazing. Perfectly goes with your RySome logo :) One of the best looking ship I saw in this game.
+fergoka Thanks a bunch! I've been trying to alter my style a bit, glad you like it! :D
Its really great!! all its missing is an assembler and a refinery !
What a great engineering job!
good ship, good vid, good dubstep in outro, guess i gotta like
Absolutely amazing, excellent build.
+DT Jr (Sagetower) Thanks for your support! :D

TheIcyStar.
Theres a way to get steel plates easy
1 make an iron generator
Easy as that
this is awesome.. I can't wait to get my hands on this program...
Have you tried out your land vehicles yet like the tank and mech on planets
Nice Video man love the ship :D
Wow, this is a really good looking SE ship for once.
The inside look cool, the view from the cockpit looks great, the hangars are excellent for small ships! The only thing that I do not like is the look of the ship from the outside. Great ship!!!
Damn bro! I don't have space engineers so idk if this is like a godlike build, but it looked pretty divine to me
Awesome ship. That is a LOT of thrusters :o
beautiful work. well done
Now that's a well-made ship.
I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!
1. It looks nice
2. It`s producable in survival
3. It`s not exaggerated at all
But I have a question: How did you do that with the oxygen??
He's just him
Does this fly with settings set to realistic? (with cargo)
one of the best ship ever seen, maybe it needs some ramps alternative to the passages to move up and down without jetpack
Love your Videos! Do not like your Outro :D It scares me everytime. The ship is amazing! Can not wait to download it and explore some planets :) I just subscribed hopeing for more good content like this to come :)
Does it work to connect the little turret to the conveyor like that or will it not transfer cargo?
unfortunately the interior turrets don't have conveyor ports, so they don't work properly

Aint that the SHIELD cockpit? I love it. :O
Oh lord, the opening with "liftoff we have a liftoff". Brought up PTSD from the last stream
This video is so old but it just now showed up in my recommendations. Nice ship tho!
This ship is amazing.
How long did this take you to build? It is beautiful.
+Mitchell Holtzer-Steiner It took me about a week of on and off working. I went through about 27 different iterations before I settled on this version.
Yo, I made this ship in my survival world, however, I haven't found how to fuel the hydrogen tanks as of yet, is there any way to do that?
Is there a specific ship this go’s with?

Really? Send me a link, I wanna check it out! :D
beautiful!
thats bloody amazing
Nice clean work !
Dude, what's side thruster you're using, I can't even build it...
I love the vid man thumbs up and subed, please do more ship builds similar to this one. great job
+bigboy22928 Thanks! Welcome to the community, and ty for the feedback!
Your co-pilot seats are placed right in front of large pillars. The glass should be in front of them too. Otherwise, awesome ship!
Will it be on workshop?
good job dude. that's cool.
Nice build dood
Beautiful ship indeed !

+Alex W-W Thanks man! And yup exactly, Angle among Demon!
It's an amazing ship its a bit big for a lander but too much cargo space I'm assuming maybe one of the cargo floor could be something else but the ship is great !
Epic, dude!
friccin dope dawg
Nice Build.
Ship's exterior looks like it is heavily cell-shaded, thanks to thick grey borders and bright white panels. Due to that some scenes from this video look like they were lifted straight from some anime.
How did you make it able to leave the planet in survival? How many oxygen generators and how many hydrogen tanks does it have?
Beautiful ship ! Good job ! Now you must create a military drop pods able contain several soldiers on the planet ! And dont forget escort battleship !
How do you keep your ships so light? Mine are always dark even if I have interior lights on every wall...
+ComputersAreRealCool I believe the interior walls have lights on them, not sure though.
BmillTheGamer They have lights on them, however they don't light the surroundings (you can see the lights really well in the dark, but you can't see the actual walls or anything else)
ComputersAreRealCool k then idk
+ComputersAreRealCool Increasing the radius of the interior lights helps with the amount of surface area covered. Hope that helps!
Currently half way through building in survival ... epic

RySome wow you actually replied to my comment. First RUclipsr ever! Thanks ! If I could sub more than once I would
that is freaking impressive
Love the ship, but I hope you tackle planetary mining next! I haven't seen many RUclipsrs trying that yet.
I wish those hanger doors had a high speed mode for when you really just want to space some unwanted guests
hey man!!! it is so good... but how much time did you take to do this
Very very nice ship! I play Space Engineers a lot and recently finished a planet lander. Keep up the good work! +1 Subscriber.
Hey dude could u see if u can get all the features of the ship and put it in to a new small ship
If u can thnx dude
Song? The link you provided dosent work anymore.
I use the azimuth mod mainly because their hydrogen tanks are entirely airtight on the top and bottom.
Since you have an interplanatary ship have you considered a lower hangar bay with ramp for wheeled vehicles? The ramp doesnt need to be airtight as you would use the hangar doors for that.
do you build this vehicle?
First off, 10/10 on the ship, I would only add more lighting. Second, I like the way you do videos.
I like the ship its beautiful :)
