It would be a good conspiracy though. Smart of them to give people the logic and let them experiment. Would be awesome to see my own video game ship used to colonize the next planet

+Raphael Groushvitski Wouldnt that mean the missile is launched from a planet as well, because you launch it from a ship, so rather a space to ground missile.
honestly it looks good but it has no function in actual combat as it has to many structural weaknesses that a scout ship can wreck it before they take it down.
I honestly see it as like a mobile home base for survival. Put a big land thing up front and land on a planet somewhere relatively safe, go out for a bit, come back to the ship, take off and stay in orbit. Need to go down in emergency? Hit up a ship in the second hanger, go a nd come back. It's a flying house.
I wish the timer blocks were more localized and better defended, one missile to the back of this ship and half your automatic things are broken, making them pretty much useless for an exciting battle scenario
+Kingwut117 Well, for a utility ship, if it was put into any sort of combat situation, you're doing it wrong, along with the fact that IRL a ship like this would have a nerve center, this ship is fairly realistic.
+Kingwut117 This is where the electronics panel mod is so amazing. You can stick like 9 of them on a single panel that takes up one full size ship block.
+Kingwut117 Looking at the spinning large reactors, you know this ship is designed to look cool more than anything else. One accidental high speed turn and explosion occurs.
Look into my eyes and it's easy to see One and one make two, two and one make three, It was destiny. Once every hundred-thousand years or so, When the sun doth shine and the moon doth glow And the grass doth grow...
For people with not as strong computers, you can get a decent performance boost turning off the aesthetic lights, as all those lighting updates do take quite a bit of processing
Now with planets, you should also test their atmospheric capabilities along with the ship features so we can get an idea of how these ships would work on a planet.
Why do most ppl put the bridge open view? It's the 2nd most important part of the ship (engineering in 1st) and has the command staff. One good hit to it and the head of your vessel is gone! ALWAYA ALWAYS put the bridge of your ship in the heart of the ship away from the engine room but easy access to it. This allows a crew to switch between engine and driving in the event of catastrophic damage to one area and replace dead personnel quickly (a must in space combat!). At around 2:05 you show the neck of this vessel. Necks on starships are good mission kill points. By getting lucky and hitting it 2-5 times you can mission kill the vessel tear it down for scrap after killing surviving crew, repair it, or use it as a base killer with minimal repair to thrusters for aiming and cameras to correct the trajectory during drop.
This was a nice ship to build when it was posted, now if you do try to build it. The eight pack atmosphere thrusters will just fall right out due the block has changed since then.
Aaron: 0:29 Actual lighting designers: are we a joke to you? Rave lighting: we are absolutely a waste of your careers. Now run the mass epilepsy test again!
Can someone answer this question : Every time I see huge ships like this on youtube I wonder why the framerate is a bit low, does it depends on the texture quality, the pc performance / recording or the ingame optimisation when rendering multiple blocks / mods installed ?
So, I've been building a ship. A flagship. It's... not quite ready for the workshop, but it's getting there. It's about the size(now that planets are in) of a medium sized moon. I may need to cut back, but that would remove a lot of the features I've tried to implement and it would remove it's primary function: Total War. I just want to thank Aaron for putting up these videos. They've given me loads of ideas, and now I need to go fix hangars 3,6, and 12. Also, should I have built in Interplanetary Missiles? Or just leave that for stations?
Nice ship, although I feel like those decoy blocks placed in between the large atmospheric thrusters sticking out of the side would do more harm than good, because those thrusters would almost assuredly get shot up and off as turrets try to get the decoys.
why are the reactors green ? im using the ship and they are yellow. alsow i couldnt find any conection between the big cargo containers and the engine repair system
Nice ship, so fradgile. My space cube may not look it, but it's quad layered heavy armor with guns and thrusters poking out of it. Weighs as much as a planet but not even the borg will mess with it.
The engine room.
Perfect for powering a giant spaceship, or throwing the greatest space rave.

That looks incredible, the lights are amazing
Impressive. Intricate. Complex. Laggy. Heavy. Cumbersome. Probably downright impossible to fix or maintain. Exactly what I want from my ships.
