Coming from producing music to now full time video producer, i have to say this is one major field i feel most video editors lack the basic knowledge in.
What you could do next time for Video Producers to understand easier is to render the audio file in order for them too also see what a compressor with fast attack does "visually". I feel like they dont know what to look or hear for when you talk about these things

Thank you for this video. As a videographer, I appreciate the focus on narration. Also, I love your color correction "look"!!

Thanks! Answers a lot of the audio questions I've had that I've never seen addressed in other RUclips (at least FCP-related) videos. The chain of processing and particularly the reasoning behind using EQ multiple times is significant.

Thanks, I see now how important the order of processing is. I do all the audio in Fairlight in Da Vinci Resolve but will try to export to logic and try that. Great video.

I’m not very uses to Logic compared to FCPX but I will try this.
    Thanks a lot 🤝🏼

These are basically universal tips, any program will do :)

I really like it when someone takes care of these little details. But I find the change compared to the original so suttle and a matter of taste, that for me it is not worth the work. Could you check whether RUclips does anything to the sound after uploading?

Thanks for the video! Boring question but if you’re recording to Logic while filming, how do you make it easy for yourself to start, organise and export multiple takes? Seems like it would be slow with multiple takes to bounce out.

I have high quality speakers. The before and after sound the same to me. 😕

Being level matched makes it more difficult for sure but it’s the only fair way to present them
