I have a Makita and I use it for almost every cutting or sanding job I undertake myself. I am in the process of more discs. But I really like the Ryobi one you reviewed. Its worth a thought, but do they have the replacement discs or do I have to go universal?
"Blade" is usually the term for accessories for multi tools. You many be thinking of the discs for angle grinders, which can be mistaken for multi tools at a quick glance. Ryobi do make replacement blades of several types for multi tools. However, many opt to run contractor grade blades and accessories to improve their overall experience. I believe the only types of replacement blades that will not work are Starlock.
I've had every Ryobi OMT and I have not been impressed. The last model vibrated so much in my hand it was unusable. Looks like this one's a loud ass vibrating piece of crap too. Pro tip use better blades (Diablo or Milwaukee nitro) for better results!
Thanks for the chapters. Great vid.

Thanks for this great video. A great review.
Thanks for such a great video.
Quick release trigger would have made this the best product in it's range by a country mile...
Great review
How is the efficiency compared to the old model?
When did this tool come out? Will a new one come out at RIDGID?
thank you. I never knew this existed. I am definitely a boob weekend uhm..not warrior, but weekend boob
Amazing
Tool free, such as buying somthing twice and wondering "wtf happened" won't be happening again! Not all where returns
I just purchased one and cannot get the nose off.
If you purchased the first model it should come with an Allen wrench to take off the nose.
If it’s the newest model shown, you have to pull HARD to remove the “nose” to install & remove blades
Whish you had gone over blade compatibility
It’s produced rye-o-bi
Not ree-o-bi
