I was wondering when you sew two pieces of fabric together for strap length why you would not consider using a diagonal seam, unless you are trying to match a piece of fabric and it can still be done . It does cut down on the bulk and not as obvious . Just curious. No right or wrong.

At the 12 minute mark where you make tubes, why not make a flat felled seam?

What is that fabric at 32:39? It is a bold graphic black and white stripes with giant pink and fuchsia and orange flowers.
