Mine just arrived today after 2 months of waiting, I'm so pumped to finaly recieve it!
Let me tell you, you are not going to be disappointed for what you paid for. Absolutely loving it👍👍👍
I have one the same but with the name Xtraspeed. I bought it about 4 years ago still runing great and i beat trx’s and axial’s rigs with it. I chaged the steering link , tires, shocks and i made a battery tray infront of the rig and it performs great.
Hi habib, yes it is very competitive against trx stuff and that I did not expect even tough it is all metal and stuff. That is why I love it so much. Thanks bro for the comment👍❤😁
0:40 It’s like the centerfold of the magazine, if you know what I mean. GORGEOUS!
Thanks
Just started building the same chassis looks amazing great video look forward to seeing the body 👍👍👍
Thanks a lot for your sweet comment buddy! I did the body turned out sweet check it out here

I just bought the FOSA RC Car Frame Kit, Aluminum Alloy Carbon Fiber CNC RC Rock Crawler
I have the Everest 10 will the Hobbywing Fusion quickrun SE 1800kv motor and other mods IV done for it. I can't wait to get mine. I just hope the motor fits😝
Nice man! Sounds like good stuff👍
They are brilliant chassis,I have two of them. They're very competant rigs, I went for a Power Wagon and a Jeep Cherokee shell for my rigs.
Honestly you read my mind! I was thinking power wagon with 2 tone paint job would look absolutely stunning! Stay tuned! Thanks for your comment!❤
A tip for you regarding the receiver, mount it to the underside of the lid, that way, even if water gets in there, the water won't affect the receiver's operation.
@@semperatis good idea! Very clever👍😎
Have a look on my channel,to see the colours I used for the Power Wagon.
DO you have a current link to this crawler? The link in the description doesn't work. I'm trying to find it but can't. Thanks. Subscibed.
Thanks for your comment and sub👍 you are right, at the moment it does not seem that this exact chassis kit is not available for sale, however I found the same chassis kit but with a set of wheels and is ridicolously more expensive than this chassis kit. Its the same but it has thr TFL branding so that apparently makes it more valuable. Thanks for your comment again.

I have one of these. Still dialing it in. So far, I've replaced/upgraded the shocks and front cv joints.
The original shocks weren't good, idk if they can be filled with oil, but they don't come that way.
The stock front cv joints came apart, went for some Vanquish shafts as a replacement. We'll see where the weak point moves to next.
Filled my shocks with oil and are great. Cv axles never had an issue with them so far. I do not push the rig too hard.
@@combarccrawlers3948 I killed the cv's over the weekend at Beat the Creek. On trail 1, lost power to one wheel, tried climbing the creek with 3wd. I broke the other one too... Had to walk out 🙁. I'm someone who will find limits.
@@Tony-ib2vm its fun to push them a bit sometimes but I know that my consequences will be money out of my pocket to fix and the worst having to wait for the parts to arrive. Sometimes it takes up to 3 months to recieve my packages... I like to baby my rigs a bit compared yeah. Thanks for your comment mate👍
I really love this video. I'm going to buy it too. I would like to know that could we use brushless motor and esc for this chassis. Thank you.
Hi there friend, thanks for your appreciation! Well when talking brushless you need to look for a "sensored" brushless type of motor. I love using brushed but brushless has the advantage of better reliability and if it is of quality lasts more than brushed. Well I certianly do not know much when it comes to searching for brushless but if I was you, I would search for this type of motor on ebay on aliexpress. Thanks for your comments, yes you are not going to be disappointed with this chassis. 👍👍👍
Hi, i have both those axles on my HPI Scout which is a crawler and i sent away for 10 spare front final drive axles as they snap all the time under load...... nice rig mate.
Hey thanks for commenting! Awesome man, love these axles
@@combarccrawlers3948 they add some good weight down low and take a beating, just the fronts seem a bit weak but they are cheap enough and i do run 3xxl mud slingers on them on 3 s so hey.. its a cheap break and easy fixed :}
I have a gold version of this chassis I guess they are a different Chinese company but the exact design it’s a nice looking chassis only problem I have with it is the screws strip out very easily, the diff pumpkins are also way too large and the shocks suck but with few modification you can make this thing awesome
Thanks for your comment! I never had any issues with mine, yeah the pumpkin is a bit big but I just love everything about it. For what it is, its not bad I think. It is very decent. Thanks!👍❤😁
But if yours is a clone . Then mb it's a bit shite
Hi, is this chassis still holding up strong? Any issues? You can get direct fit reverse transmission for it and flip rear axle upside down(probably need to then change motor rotation on connectors or esc)
Notice how 1 drveshaft is exposed a lot, that's why. With reverse transmission, the shaft needs to be shorter, so they fit shorter shaft as stock.
Hi there, havent had any issues with this one. About the transmission I never had the intention to change it. Always been reliable. Love this chassis.
@@combarccrawlers3948 don't you experience torque twist with standard transmission?
@@polishguywithhardtospellna8227 surprisingly not too much
@@combarccrawlers3948 thanks very much for replies
I hope that you adjusted the angle of the ends of the front axle so your steering worked as it should as it was pointing downwards which will give you very bad steering. I wish i could afford an expensive rc but its fun upgrading them.
Man I had a guy tell me that as well I do not get what you exactly need to do to adjust the angle, just loosen the screws on the joint and re tighten?
@@combarccrawlers3948 at the top and bottom just passed the wheel hex there is a small hex screw and there shouls be guiding slides on the fronts so you can tip the front end up and gain a lot more steering mate.
I accidentally bought a 324mm body shell. Is there anyway to make it fit my SCX 10?
You could adjust the links or get different links I believe
Good view tq
can you do for this chassis a 2 speed mode like other crawlers ? or something to adjust the speed lower and higher ?
You would have to change the gearbox for that I assume. The thing is I was looking into buying another chassis kit like this one but with the 2 speed gearbox and its expensive to the point where its more worth buying the trx 4 chassis kit with much more refoned engineering quality gearbox.
@@combarccrawlers3948 deal man thank you
These are good value for money rigs
I agree with you 100%. Amazed actually with the quality. Wait for the body. It is going to be absolutely great!
I almost finished it behind the scenes
no front track bar , how does it work without it
It works my friend, been running them for a while now like this. Never had issues.
do you prefer this or the metal portal axl crawler you reviewed from aliexprees.
Both are great, it depends on your intentions really. If you intend to keep it scale realistic and close to original classic crawler I would go for this chassis and if you want something better and more dedicated for compex crawling, I would choose the portal axle version.
@@combarccrawlers3948 so you think the portal axle better prforming
@@jackgibson8627 I would be lying if I said that portal axle are not better. The lifted center section design allows more clearance which means it will hit the axle less when crawling in tougher conditions.
Hi friend whats the pionion gear size?
No idea, its the original one that came with the gearbox.
I had to order one for myself! Do you know what the rim diameter is?
I believe they are around 45mm. Thanks for your comment👍👍👍❤
Is your full metal chassis performed better than ordinary chassis? I believe it has just better looking but performance is not in my opinion.
Well it has the looks but the big advantages are no flex in plastic components especially if the diffs were plastic, threads do not strip like in plastic and it is overall more rigid and I feel safe to abbuse it a little. Just a strong and rigid foundation. I love it
@@combarccrawlers3948 Thanks for your response. However I was wondering where to get some spare parts when it broke? I couldn't find any supplier for its spare parts... definitely not buying another set for spare parts... 😅
@@6JWB9 you can find literally any component of the chassis on aliexpress seperately for sale just search crawler scx10 parts gearbox etc. For example I heard the diff axles are the same as an og scx10. I find it impossible to break but thats what I know about parts. Thanks for commenting! Proud to help out👍👍👍😁
@@combarccrawlers3948 Once again, thanks and much appreciated your info!
How many rc's have you got?!!! Wow!!!
I have a big army mate!😂 I got 6 crawlers, a basher, 2 nitro bashers, a street race car and much more behind the scenes😂 Iv e got plenty😂😂😂
Great!😂😂😂
Awesome!
nice rig bro it hold up good fer ya ?
@Shade Tree RC Hi friend, I can't say it hasnt held up for me. I have attempted to push it a bit and it took it. I once submerged it fully underwater and still went strong! Its a nice piece. Thanks for your comment!
If you get tired of breaking cvds use the TFL cvds.
I didnt break them yet but they have a lot of slop in them and they make a bit of noise... I do prefer normal style ones. I was surprised to buy a set of metal normal style ones and they seem to be very unbalanced or I am doing sonething wrong. Thanks for the comment
@@combarccrawlers3948 almost sounds like the inner bearing, behind the axle in the housing may be missing??
@@zaxpage9003 noo definitely driveshaft noise
What is the suitable body for that chasis??
Hi there, you need to search for any body that has written that it is a 313mm wheelbase. That is standard whith these chassis. Thanks
Thanks dear!!
What is with that battery? Looks like a paper bag full of sand 🤣 nice rig tho man this is gonna be sick.
Thanks for commenting! I currently updated to a hard case but that was my battery kinda protective solution😂😂😂 yeah lol! Thanks for your positive feedback about the rig! I have a trail/crawl video of it and most importantly the body I got for it! Check out the playlist:Axial SCX 10 all metal crawler vids: ruclips.net/p/PLlG2GKGHUlaWvRvJA8sZ_VraauVzrvIRp

bro can you make vdio for me..about algmnt tyre😘😘 this chasis
There is a video somewhere on yt about it. Its very simple. The front knuckle adjusts via the 2 screws holding it to the axle housing. Untighten the top and bottom screw slightly and the assembly is free to tilt. Tilt it in the direction where it will be aligned and tighten the screws. Super easy.
Bangood.com has the portal ones too!
Was thinking of getting that but compared the prices a bit and I am debating because it is almost the price of the trx 4 but does not have unlocking/locking diffs and a 2 speed trans. But I am thinking of it. Thanks👍😊
COMBA RC Crawlers, thanks for the reply! Similar with the gecko x10 all metal but no portal axle, trx is RTR but this one is kit but same price
@@Freakzilla45 thanks man, I reply as soon as I can to every comment so feel free.
what saiz pinion gear
I would have to guess 25 tooth
for crawler right
Thats not an axial brand you bought that from banggood..... it looks similar to an axial tho

Is this a Chinese knock off only a 1060 and a surpass hobby motor no much more for a 1080 and a Holmes hobby motor
Listen my friend, I know the system I installed may not be top of the line, but it worked out good for me so I do not see a reason why to say it is a "chinese knock off". At least I did not install a 5$ ebay esc which works as FINE as the 1060 which is a great ESC. I take your oppinion but I do not get your point about the "chinese knock off" thing, sorry. It is a great system, I never had any issues with it. Infact I recomend it to many people. Please do understand that if you think I am being cheap here, even multi thousand subscriber channels put budjet investment in these hobby grade vehicles. That is my oppinion at least. Thanks
@@combarccrawlers3948 was on about the chassis being a cheap Chinese knock off and if it’s not made by axial it’s not a scene 10 but it looks better built than axial stuff no plastic on the one you purchased it looks great and if I was in the market for a new crawler I’d consider the one you bought thanks for the reply and hope you have a great new year and stay safe from this COVID stuff
