@@combarccrawlers3948 Thanks - I bought two x FTX6266 - then used the right 2mm allen key (before it was 5/64 inches which caused the problem) - then put on the metal gear and pinion - all good. Only problem now is the speed controller goes red hot and shuts down - just from changing the teeth on the spur and pinion...so might have to update that also.

Im not sure but I dont think so. A smaller spur gear would conflict with the clutch housing I believe. Or you could look into aftermarket options if there are any.

Currently budget is tight because I have no sponsorships or income, I do this as a hobby and as a source of entertainment and DIY video to all who may need help in their builds. A balance charge is fully charging, just in a way that takes longer because of the balancing, but it will make your battery last longer

No bud, you have to leave the foam in the tires otherwise the tire will deform without foam

Survived all the abbuse I put them through till now. The small drive shaft betwwen the trans and transfercase only broke but I had a regular yoke style drive shaft, shortened it and put it in, again survived ever since. This being brushless sometimes I push it hard a bit.

You would have to change the gearbox for that I assume. The thing is I was looking into buying another chassis kit like this one but with the 2 speed gearbox and its expensive to the point where its more worth buying the trx 4 chassis kit with much more refoned engineering quality gearbox.

I dont remember how mine went but try to use some treadlock so maybe it wont come out

The wire colour doesnt matter I just like them to match. I try the motor before putting the wires on for good to check that I got the polarity right because once I got it wrong and it went faster in reverse. In that case you could just switch the wires but again i wanted the wire colour to match, but if you dont mind its not really necessary. Thanks for the comment mate👍😀

Get a nail that will fit the hole. Get a torch, heat the nail red hot, quench it in oil to harden the steel. Cut the nail with grinder to pin size.

If its an original battery doing this I guess somethings gone wrong my friend

I can not say if they are bad. Make sure you dont have a loose connection with the charger, no damaged wires and confirm voltage somehow.

@@combarccrawlers3948 Thank you. So I figured out the issue. The batteries haven't been used the whole winter and they're completely depleted. I had to "trickle" charge them to put some power in them for the big charger to recognize them. All good now

Its just something I had laying around. Its good, just struggles a bit at low rpms, otherwise its a burnout machine, always puts a smile on my face. I will save money to buy the fusion someday though. Thanks for the comment bud.

Hi there. Thanks for your comment. To adjust the wheel base, you can unscrew one side of each link and if you rotate the ball joint heads on the ends of each link, they should tread out, extending the wheel base. Then screw everything back together
