It's a horrifically dirty feeling when you have to agree with Jacob Rees-Mogg...
Not watched any House of Commons this year, but after this I think I’m going to leave this country. So disrespectful to the people.
Now they know how we feel, no one listening.
Time for the king to dissolve parliament
What the Speaker admitted today is that he puts his duty of physical care toward MPs above what should be his absolute duty to not allow interference with the democratic process in the Commons...So if the Police tell the Speaker there are genuine threats if an MP votes a certain way then the Speaker should compromise his role?....Horrendous.Allow the screaming extremists to do this to our age-old Democracy?
Absolutely disgraceful.
And these people are expected to run the country, what a joke. What a shame for our country.
DIVISIONS. THE British are experts on that!
Puppets everywhere.
A Punch and Judy show! 😂😂😂
What a Bloody Mess.
Everyone, even politicians, are so set on cancelling one another and it is like a child throwing tantrums in a professional context.
Humans make mistakes, let the speaker apologise, rectify the mistakes and we move on. If he does not do so, then consider voting him out.
I wish these people cared as much about people in this country than those abroad it seems.
This is marvellous!
This shambolic display of Parliamentary business has been a classic indicator that the whole Parliamentary system is outdated and must be reformed. The Scottish Assembly would be a good example to follow. Get it done and stop playing about with outdated sabre rattling politics!
Madam Speaker reminds me of Sgt Wilson from Dad’s Army.
It is unfortunate that this whole fiasco has now overshadowed an important vote on an issue so serious. I for one was waiting on the house to make a clear stand on their stance on a ceasefire and instead been left watching once again useless drama on the floor of the house. Very unfortunate.
They want people to look here not over there!
What a bunch of children... we pay our taxes for this lot! Shocking displays.
Tell those bloody MPs to get off their bloody phones and give whoever is speaking some bloody attention and respect and listen! We pay their bloody wages and expect them to do their bloody jobs!
Democracy My Arse.!!!!!🤣😛
This is utterly bereft of integrity.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way, please and thank you. Politics are no place for arrogant liars.
If JRM is upset so what? His opinion counts for absolutely nothing in most people's eyes. His own reputation is totally tarnished.
Labour doing their very best to dissuade Scottish voters at the next election...
What are any of us supposed to think of the behaviour in the House of Commons... Squabbling kids, all of them, and not a single statesman
