This is the first song I ever heard of Queens that got me hooked on them. They are my all-time favourite band. Uplifting, dark, sensual, surprising and the best band live 😍🥰🤘👍
I completely agree with you. I'm 48 I just got turned on the the queens of stone age about 2 years ago I heard this song A long time ago I was more into like Pearl jam and third eye blind and stuff but the other night oh two years ago I was in my garage drinking a beer and I came across the pink pop festival think 2005.. is a version of the band with Joe or drums all that and they still had Natasha of it or was that girl's name the keyboard girl who died anyways great show dude I'm trying to say is they best American rock and roll band but back in the day Pearl jam game and run for the money
haha XD theyre saing Josh Homme and Craig Killborne are twins? HAH that is true they may be twins with true differences. Craig Kilborne at this time stated that he was able to seperate himself out from Josh Holmes with his blone hair thus being a blondie while Josh Holmes was noteable with his Red Hair also Thus making he and Craig Kilborne different from eachother.
Grohl excluded, I can’t disagree. Joey was great at times. Gene wasn’t super tech but he had more feel than Joey or Jon, and that’s what I miss the most as of late.
Joey butchered it here. And I can't tell who took off with it first (drums or guitar) but its played out of tempo, too fast. Seems like a lot of their live versions suffered from that. Although in later years seems like Theodore stays truer to the song and doesn't play too fast
The banter between Kilborne and Josh is great. Coming out with “I’m hotter” on his shirt was perfect, late night tv is comedy after all.

"best band live"
Unless you're a photographer who's just doing their job.
Same this was my first QOTSA song ever and I bought this album and I fucking love it. To me this pure rock n roll of the early 2000s.
Check out kyuss it's Josh's old band
@@D-A-1776 thanks but I heard of their songs and there awesome. 👍
Illumanati
Heaven smiles above me. What a gift here below, but know one knows. Such a great ending to the song.
This was a time when TV was worth staying up late for
Josh and Craig are brothers man! look exactly alike, both have Nordic heritage!
I’ll never tire of seeing Josh playing those Ovations
Amen brother
The bit with Kilborn in the QOTSA video is actually fucking hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣
2:44 "They're here tonight playing the feel good hit..." such a tease
Pretty solid and sober performance...
2003... Me siento viejo y orgulloso.
This was the peak of late nite
@Daniel Drader I agree 100%. Conan's departure was the final breath.
This wasn't even peak Craig of Late Late Show hosts.
Still, by far THE best American rock band
👁👍

I LOVE JOSHHHHHHHHHH OMME
“Josh Hommmmmmm” bruh
i dunno.... i'm close to being an old fart, but, honestly, i think this is easily one of the best rock songs ever written, played, & recorded.
Agreed.
This, "Welcome to the Jungle" "Cult of Personality" "Bring Me to Life"...
These are songs that you can't resist!
@@marcusdarden1535 wow, living color's "cult of personality'?
@@jdbankshot yes
This aired the same night as the Station Nightclub fire. Watching it for the first time since then is kind of a trip.
brutal
That's a crazy bit of history. Wow.
Perfection!!!!

Troy, what a champion. Dude said fuck it, suit

Solid
Yes ! Josh was hotter and still is.
qotsa forever
We get some rules to follow
That and this, these and those
No one knows
We get these pills to swallow
How they stick in your throat?
Tastes like gold
Oh, what you do to me
No one knows
And I realize you're mine
Indeed a fool am I
And I realize you're mine
Indeed a fool am I
I journey through the desert
Of the mind with no hope
I follow
I drift along the ocean
Dead lifeboats in the sun
And come undone
Pleasantly caving in
I come undone
And I realize you're mine
Indeed a fool am I
And I realize you're mine
Indeed a fool am I
Heaven smiles above me
What a gift here below
But no one knows
The gift that you give to me
No one knows

0:47 The tape on josh’s shirt is hilarious!
This woman drunk as hell 😂😂💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
💋💋 I think Josh is way hotter 😛🥰😘😘
Maybe they are twin brothers and just playing us all.
The mix is weird, more vocals please!
Kilborn was the last great late night host.
You're God damn right
No hertas? What a bummer
kilborn dropped a ball on this one
Hardly a fucking feel good hit is it mate
I wish the drummer would stay in the pocket and actually play those fast hertas in the chorus
Joey butchered this song. Oof.
Yeah... Joey can't keep time and do fills at the same time. He ALWAYS rushes them.
Def the worst drumming fit for qotsa, all the live performances are super rushed.
Finally qotsa brave enough to say it..
Joey did butcher it but i still love him and he is imo, queens best drummer in terms of "fit"
Grohl excluded, I can’t disagree. Joey was great at times. Gene wasn’t super tech but he had more feel than Joey or Jon, and that’s what I miss the most as of late.

Joey played super super fast live all the time.
Mixed by a deaf man but it's ok
Where are the hertas? Booooooo
