Some maybe not as active as they used to be or should be like The Cure or Tool. But yeah, the only ones to go up there with Homme by what they mean that you listed are the likes of Iggy, Grohl, Jack White etc. As big of a fan as I am of PJ Harvey, Ty and Kurt Vile, it's a different thing, just in terms of the so-called 'rockstar' type, but I know what you mean. As pure musicianship, yeah, your list stacks up.

Crazy how personable he is - watched him at the Criterion in OKC in Sep, no AC. Everyone was pouring sweat, on shrooms, and tripped. Homme gave 150%. He is up there with Tool and Rush imo as far as shows go (much more personable). I hope we get many more years of QOTSA. Dude is legit.
