Lads, I told you, you can get some very nasty jealous people, and cars are a funny thing, to men they can be very covetous over cars. That to other people does not seem normal. It’s a bit like with pets. Don’t let horrible covetous people take away your peace. You have handled it well, up to now and tried to let it go over your head as much as you could . But, honestly don’t let other peoples problems become yours. Once you let go of either of those cars you will regret it. Because the price will shoot up, and if you take them to a show you would get an offer you couldn’t refuse. If that car was worth fighting for it’s worth hanging onto. Don’t let sour people sour your joy with any of your cars. You can’t change people, they are still going to be jealous and covetous, that’s their problem not yours. Honestly 10k would be a nice lift, but there is more financial gratification in the long run . Don’t let them just sit there - but let them stand there nicely polished and proud . You take your time, because Ecclesiastes says “In His time he makes all things beautiful ,” and I know that you can both turn them into a thing of beauty !
I guess honest is the best policy. Regardless how everyone is. Keep up the good work.

Rob, don’t sell it, there will always be people who aren’t happy to see you doing well and the things you can achieve, don’t let haters put you off, make it a point to achieve your goals and don’t let’s others jealously put you off your hard work, fix it and add to you collection, after all you will have the last laugh when you sell in the future, keep up the great work you and Chris do, don’t give in to what people want you to do 👍

These type of videos, as much as I appreciate you think its all waffle, are really informative and sometimes its not all about the mechanicals of the car. The legality stuff like with the Kentucky Lambo are all good lessons. Blinding. Keep it up.

its good to see you are keeping a positive outlook, i think you should keep the RS and enjoy it, its a cracking car and if you let it go you may kick your self later , get it finished take it for a spin then think on weather to keep it , thanks for content guys
I am an Essex boy by birth and my dad never owned anything but Ford so I like to see an RS, so shame to see RS2000 go. I also like the LSE, had a few LR products but would love a RR classic or a Defender. Keep up the good work gents.
As so many have said.. don't be to hasty with respect to the Escort, put it on the back burner and get back to it with a better frame of mind when the dust settles, where are you going to find another one ?.. I think you will regret letting it go. As for the Range Rover, Finish it, even if it takes another year. you will be well made up to see it finished by your own hands after already doing so much.. It will no doubt bring huge pound signs then. Because most with that sort of money to spend on such a rare one will want it sorted and road ready and be fighting over it. Keep up the good work guys.

Don’t let the RS go, you’re going to regret it afterwards. Just push it back for some time, then get back to it when you again see it the gem it is. If after a year you still feel like selling it then sell it. Nothing to loose.

Don't rush that decision to move the RS2000 on. You're understandably frustrated right now, but take yourself back to when you first got it. Come back to it in a few months when you love it again. Don't regret letting it go.

Fair play chaps brilliant update and feel for you with what goes on in the Motortrade I'm in my 44th year and never cease to be amazed even been arrested and locked up.
Someone tried to do this to one of my motorbikes last year. it hadn't been out of my garage for over a year & was covered by blankets.
Dvla wrote me a letter saying had I sold the vehicle as someone waa trying to register it. I phoned them up & said "NO"
In the end they made me take photos of the frame ,engine numbers, number plate & the bike.
In the end they said they would cancel the application.
I said would anyone get in trouble for trying it on. They said it may have been a mistake.
Very dodgy.

Rob, I can understand your frustrations with the RS, god knows you’ve handled it better than I would. But, if you’ve got the room, sit on it for another month. I’d be feeling the same about getting shot, but we all know we regret getting shot of old fords down the line - it always happens! That is a rare motor in terms of originality. Rob and chris u are most genuine guys and down to earth people and these video s u do are just amazing for someone to pause a video and take the logbook number and put it in there name is just low of the low and then for the previous owner not to give u the logbook back was really out order end of the day its your car i dont blame u both getting shot of it i would of lost all heart in it as well you s didnt deserve any of this and it would of been nice to see it all restored just keep up the great work use guys do we really look forward to the video s every week
Please don't make a hasty decision with the RS2000, as much as you are understandably fed up with it right now your feelings towards it will change again, you will never get the opportunity to buy a similar car like this again as they simply aren't around.
