This review is so perfect 😂 We don’t always know why, and can’t pin point why we don’t jive with something. We need to be “Seduced”sometimes 😂 and let things sit a bit.
I think I’m getting too bougie for my own good. Haha.
@@NotFitforPrintBeautyoh I can totally relate lol
Congratulations on your daughter going to college 🎉
The concealer looks really good! I think the lines under my eyes will love it. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason as to why we don’t like something we should like. The human experience is… fun 😂🤷🏾♀️
The foundation was stunning!! I am impressed the foundation lasted well after doing all that physical activity!
Thank you for the tip about cream working better than powder! I think I’ll pick this up but not for awhile-maybe during the end of year sales.
You looked so pretty! ❤
I’ll tell you this much, if you need a workhorse foundation that will not budge, this one will be it. That is for sure!
I have used this concealer for years for no makeup days. I have dark caverns of despair so going with no concealer is not for me but full coverage concealer with no foundation isn’t a great look either. I only like this concealer applied with my fingers, so maybe try again without the brush. I’m a college freshman mom too! You mentioned you are behind on these reviews but I’m always so impressed with how fast and on top of new releases you are! You moved your daughter and still filmed this review-amazing!
Karen, do your dark pits of despair have the same theme song as mine?
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty oh yes!
🤣🤣🤣@@NotFitforPrintBeauty
I’ve worn glossier foundation for five days and I’m in love. I like it more than I thought I would. It’s not glowy but it’s pretty and melts in. It works well with pretty but not Uber long wearing cream products (I’m looking at you merit and salt New York) the blushes almost melt into the foundation if applied before complete dry down. In finish it gives me chantecaille future skin without the pot. Which is a win win in my book. And way cheaper.
Waaaay cheaper. Great point. I’m going to try to apply the cream products before dry down.
Hi just had to say your hair is looking phenomenal, could you do a video on favourite hair products/ tools ?❤xx
How kind of you!! It’s been a while since I’ve done a hair care video. I absolutely need to!!
Hi Rebecca, I appreciate your dedication to your community for putting up a video when you are so busy, no one would fault you if you didn’t. I wish your daughter lots of luck in her new school year. As for the products they look really nice, if you don’t like them it’s okay they’re just not for you. That’s why there are so many beauty brands to try out so you find what works for you.
Thank you so much for this lovely comment, Roberta. It’s such a pleasure to try out products for this wonderful community. And, you know what they say, when you have something to do, give it to a busy woman! Ha ha.
Love your channel. Good luck to your daughter.. She🎉🎉's lucky as she just scored another concelaer!😂😂😂
@@marybonome9279 yep. Going right to her!!
You kill me with the darkness of despair music 😂 you look beautiful !
Thank you, Anna! The DPOD come with their own theme.
Once again your honesty is refreshing! Your brain tells you you should love it but your heart disagrees. With that being said, you told the truth, they’re good products, they perform well but they’re not about to become your favourites. Thank you Rebecca & I hope your daughter is all settled in at College 😊💕
She is doing really well this year, FINALLY, haha, last year was a TRIAL. Lemme tell you. And thank you so much!
Love that lippie on you! I got a sample card of the foundation and liked it. I have not tried the concealer. Thanks for another great, timely review. Sometimes stuff just doesn’t jive.😊
Exactly. I think maybe it’s the finish.
I think it looks beautiful on you! Natural and perfected!
Hello Kim! Definitely very natural. Agreed!
I love love love it. I primed with the new Milk primer and it looked beautiful all day in 95 heat and high humidity. Reminds me a little of the Rom Ford Traceless Matte foundation that has gotten ridiculously expensive. It’s a yes for me living in Florida !!!
I am definitely starting to really like it. It’s a workhorse!
I absolutely love love love ur reviews!!!
Thank you so much, Abby! So thrilled to have you here!
I had a rubber (eraser) that opened like that brush. I see why they've done it - good for chucking in a makeup bag/travel but no not keen.
Exactly. It’s like great in concept…but in reality? Haha. Ummmm
I tried a sample of this today. I only wore it for 5 hours but color me impressed. I'll pick it up during the sale. Great vid! 😊
It’s really growing on me.
I think so much of what we love about complexion products has to do with application and how it takes on other products. When you said the blush skipped, it's suddenly limited to other cream products only. We have so many choices these days on similarly formulated products. Our mind goes to the ones that make our makeup application easy AND look great. I have to say, it looks pretty on your skin. Extra points for holding up during a college move, but you’ve got to love the look and feel of products. It's like going on a date that was great on paper, but just didn't do it for you. No matter how many times you tell yourself that it’s a match, it comes down to the intangibles - how it really makes you feel. There is no reason to force it, there are so many other fish in the sea. 😉
MICHELLE! You WERE in comment jail and only showed up to be rescued this morning! I saved you! I think you're right. There IS a chemistry. It's like WHY we LIKE something. There's two sides to it, right? Like why are we attracted to, for instance, a tee shirt in one color but NOT the other? Etc. Both like and dislike, there's a certain science to the psychology. That and the blush skipping. haha.
I am trying mine out tomorrow. I have a feeling we might agree on this one too! I might powder mine to see if I can apply my powders on top. I was also thinking of trying a full face of glossier. Thank you for your review as always.❤
Yes. It’s just…it’s good. But yeah.
I’m not a Glossier fan, but picked up their stretch concealer in store at Sephora last week and have been pleasantly surprised! The combo looked great on you!! Thanks for thoughts and the review!
The concealer honestly has the biggest following. It’s definitely beloved! 💕
Gorgeous results and funny, honest review - love it! I struggle with the concealer, love it initially, but find it doesn't last and makes mascara smudge. I fancy trying the foundation, if I can be convinced of finding my shade match.
Heather, there are FAR too many amazing concealers out there that you should not have to put up with pesky mascara smudges on it, etc.
I enjoy watching your reviews. Congrats on your daughter going to college.
Thank you so very much, Suzanne. How nice of you!
I actually like this concealer for the winter when my under eyes are extremely dry. I think this concealer looked nice on you just think you need a darker shade I find this to be a great concealer for no makeup makeup look in the winter when my skin is more drier .
Agreed that the shade threw me off. Yes.
It looks really good especially after you wore it all day.
Exactly. How can I even ever fault it for that?
😂 Kid resistant and pet resistant 😂😂. Love it
I ran out of ideas. Ha ha. I was hoping to be a bit more clever than that but I had not prepared and I was clearly tired. I owe you guys better comparisons.
5:02 love how you keep this trial and error in. So refreshing *edit* sorry for commenting 😂
I appreciate the comment!!! I figured either others would struggle too OR it’s great comedy. Haha.
Looks great!!!
Thank you, Jodi!!
Hey Rebecca!!! This is may be no for my oily skin, I appreciate your honest review as usual! I have only ever tied there balm for com lippies, as my daughter LOVES them. My under eyes get super dry so when I heard concealer balm my eyes lit up lol but if you don’t like the way it applies I don’t think I would either lol!
Amy, if it’s this or the Mac, you would like the Mac better.
I’ve never even tried one glossier product but I did accept the challenge to try at 10% off in the set sold together. Which to me for 48 bucks is good price point for two products and free makeup bag and sample to try. I’m going to give it a whirl. My interest is peaked!
The fragrance called “You” is something my daughter and I have always gotten compliments on!! I want to try the body wash oil next. Their cloud paint cheek products are nice too.
Nancy is correct, Michelle. They really do have some Iconic lovely products. Do not forget the boy brow product as well. They are really really good. And this foundation does absolutely everything it says that it will. It’s just somehow not glamorous? I don’t know. I can’t put my finger on it but I just don’t love it.
Argh! still waiting on the foundation to arrive! Glossier is very slow on their shipping. If the concealer is still the same as before then the only tip I have is to follow with a damp sponge over it to tap it in.
I believe it is still exactly the same formula so you will not be disappointed. I will definitely try the damp sponge. What a great idea.
I think that both the Glossier Stretch Concealer and the Glossier Skin Tint look very nice on my mature skin and hold up well, but I don't think of using either one very much. With the concealer, it's mostly because I prefer concealer sticks to pot concealers, I think.
Agree, great on mature skin.
Absolutely. The way that it applies matters and I just don’t like it out of a pot.
Works well on my mature skin without any powder. I dip a brush in the pot.
I was hoping this foundation was a dupe for Chantecaille future skin, but it doesn’t sound like it. Lol🤣😭. Fantastic review as always.
You know, it’s a perfectly lovely foundation. It really does everything it promises to do. It is no way a dupe for Chantecaille. That one just has a little bit more of a glamorous feel after you’re finished.
Hi Rebecca, I have to say it does look very pretty on your skin. But go with what you feel. Have a great one. 🥰🙏
Do you know what I think it is? I think I just have tried at this point 60 foundations just in the year span alone. And it just takes a lot to amaze me. I think this foundation is very good. I think it lasts. I think it has everything it promises and yet somehow it’s just not glamorous and I guess I want that little extra Bit with my foundation? I surprise even myself.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty It’s ok if it not to your expectations. Everyone has a preference and it’s OK if you don’t like it for you.
@@icekitty15 ❤️♥️💕
I prefer something a bit more radiant -- and don't need the super coverage. I wondered about the skin tint from glossier?
I have not tried the skin tint but I am definitely interested and have heard good things as I agree entirely with you
"Glossier currently ships across the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, and France. You may experience longer delivery times when shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and remote areas of Canada" Copied that from their website. Can you ask them to ship to my country The Netherlands i feel discriminated why the English and the French, and teh Swedish and the Danish and not us, but never jalous don't know how that feels, really and makeup enough here😂And loved the video, always so cozy but this good stuff, this is beautiful dear Rebecca!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
Actually, I would love to know why. I really would. How is that fair? It is patently unfair. That is so so so unfair!!
PERFECT foundation shade for you! Maybe underpainting for bronzer, cheek color? The name and packaging may not appeal I know I'm a sucker for presentation. But seriously, this is lovely on you!
Everything you say here is right. And yes, underpinning. Great idea.
Great review. The bottom line is always about personal preference when reaching for a product.
Yes. Must be the allure of the brand isn’t there maybe.
Hyperbole…love it, Rebecca. 😉
Everything about that foundation sounds like a nightmare to me, and the concealer seems like it’s for younger skin. Another fun video!
Sheila! It’s almost like it’s that kind of minimalist youth thing. You know? Like one and done shadows.
It's not a strange review; it's a good review about a foundation/brush that is strange.
Ha! Terry you’re both clever and lovely!
Thank you for reviewing. I just wanted to say this is their first foundation. The other product is a skin tint that is very sheer.
True true. Good point.
Hi lovely Rebecca !! I hope moving your daughter to college went smoothly . This concealer might be a bit thin for me . The foundation looks nice . Sometimes makeup needs time to mature to our liking 🤣🤗💕
Bridget! Thank you for your thoughtfulness. It went really well! You’re right. Haha. I need to perhaps start with a more mature choice like chanel. Haha
i have soooo many high end concealers but nothing beats glossier stretch concealer for everyday for dry under eyes. looks like skin and wears beautifully. i do have to set though its very shiny. As for the formula being chalky, it might be because its fresh? because the formula is pretty emollient and finger is best application
Yes. And I am now hearing a nice damp sponge afterwards is great on it!
I do understand the Glossier aversion -- I was in college when the brand came out and was hugely obsessed, and I do feel like launches have progressively gone downhill or not jived with me. Over time has been I've also felt some cognitive dissonance with the internet's reaction to certain products vs their actual performance (it doesn't matter how much cloud paint I put on, it is fully gone within an hour). Now that I'm an actual adult and am not just putting on makeup in my dorm to wear to one or two classes, I really need and want more than a lot of their classic products are giving. However, Stretch concealer is a long time favorite I can't seem to shake for when I just want to be refreshed and brightened without anything too crazy or complicated, and I had run out, so I did go ahead and order the set. Excited they do some Olive tones now, too! I'm very curious to see how it goes.
I hear you. Totally. And I feel like they’re trying to keep up with their customer. We are all now adults. But the question is, will it work??? Let me know your thoughts!
Maybe it's meh because you love the MAC and this isn't that? Sometimes we mentally compare our current holy grail/favorite to everything that follows
Totally totally agreed
I've never tried Glossier and this isn't pulling me in. That brush is a big NO 😂
Haha. The brush, Debbie!
Lol..no thank you as Lunar travels aren't on my travel agenda!!🎉🎉
Stay here on earth with us, Mary!!!
Lol!! Rebecca I was wondering how or why they’d offer a brush like that when it could just be a retractable regular brush? I think they were going for unique😂Glossier does Cloud Paint very well and like I mentioned in response to another commenter…You (the fragrance is to die for!!) The body wash oil is something I want to try. I think it’s called Hero. But, this foundation is a pass for me just because there’s so many others that interest me..the new MAC for instance. Great video, as always😘
Another comment mentioned that I might just be so in love with the Mac that I reviewed yesterday and that is a very good point. Plus I am also currently testing the new polite society. So it just takes a lot for a foundation to turn my head I think but there’s no doubt this one does what it says.
Omg give me a break I'm gonna go bankrupt 😂 GOOD afternoon all the way from Greece 🇬🇷 my beautiful Rebecca ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉( thank God you are not very thrilled about them I dunno know what I would do😂)
And more concealer and more foundation on the way in the next few days. Heaven help us all!
I think you should try it with a glowing primer.
GREAT idea! I will do that and report back
It’s okay if it doesn’t meet your preference. It looks amazing in the video and it sounds like something I would love on my skin (formulation wise) but I know I would hate the finnish. Cudos to Glossier for not parfuming the crap out of their products though.
I will agree with you there. We do not need all that fragrance! And you are correct. I don’t really love the finish and the fact that it didn’t work well with powder.
What would you compare this finish and consistency to? I love the Caliray skin tint and wondering is this one is similar.. 🤔
It actually IS somewhat similar except more coverage and a bit thicker feel. Same finish tho!
🙌🏼
No that brush would do my head it lol! 😅
Right?!
So would it be friendly for oily skin (t zone with pores)? Is it a satin finish? How about concealer? Light or medium coverage ? Is it hydrating for dry undereyes?
I think it might get to be a little bit drying. It’s a very kind of firm medium coverage natural finish verging on Matte. And the concealer is kind of light but it’s that cream potted texture so it Has to be applied with a brush. But it can be built. Really all of it is medium
on the face. Medium on the concealer all of it is a buildable. Definitely not hydrating although a lot of people say they take a damp sponge over the concealer and I just don’t wanna bother with that, if that makes sense?
That brush...I saw the ads and I was unsure of it due to the length/size...it seems like it would be hard to wash and use.
I have no idea how to wash the darn thing
I got a sample and it went on really nice but broke up on my oily skin pretty quickly. Settled into pores and looked greasy.
Yeah. Something about it does not sit right with me. I can’t be super positive about it.
I may actually try it. I wasn’t a fan of the brand because it felt like a young brand.
Totally Robin. Same. I think they’re initial young customer is now out of college and with a job and they’re keeping that customer rather than aiming younger still, if that makes sense.
Ive never tried anything from Glossier, Katie Jane Hughes loves the concealer so I have been very tempted to buy it(she also did the foundation campaign) but Ive had no desire to buy the foundation and for some reason after your review I want this foundation and concealer lol. Id love to hear a follow up.
I will def keep working with it!! KJH is lovely.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Did you see she announced the release date of her new products September 26,2023!! I can't wait thats one launch I have been excited about since she first started talking about it then when I saw it I was even more excited!
I did see that. I might watch from the sidelines for a bit. Famous last words.@@SarahSmile6

Tropical storm resistant? 😂
Haha!!! California is definitely tropical storm resistant. But we are not resistant to drama. We need a foundation that’s drama resistant. What’s happening with your thunder and lightning up there?

@@vroomvroom9373 ❤️♥️💕♥️She is thank you!!!
@@pinksparkle258 seriously. You know I agree
How do you clean the brush?
Frankly, that’s a good question. I did it seems fine but I am scared it’ll mold underneath. Yuck.
I missed the confetti
See? My staff is forgetting again!!! I’m firing them all!
I definitely need longevity on my 2- 10hr days at the salon. But i have dry skin. 🤔
I think it’d hold up well even on dry skin. It’s a definite workhouse foundation. You just won’t want to wear it out at night or for a fun brunch. You know? It’s like a sensible shoe of foundations. The tote bag that just works but isn’t fun. Haha. But for long work hours? It will work!
I'm catching up on beauty videos this weekend. The foundation looks nice on you; but if it limits other types of products that apply smoothly, that would be annoying to me. I'm not inclined to buy this. 😉And the brush is a definite "no." (Not really practical and hard to wash.) I'm still loving my Hourglass Ambient Lighting soft focus foundation, which is my current Holy Grail. Best wishes to your daughter on her new adventure! Both of my kids are in college, too. Son wants to be a mechanical engineer and design cars. Daughter wants to be a fashion buyer (she's in fashion merchandising). She has also dabbled in makeup artistry for proms, weddings, and other special events. Fun, fun!
Kare! So glad you shared about your talented children. It’s amazing to watch them achieve their dreams. It’s just a bit nerve wracking at times! Haha
Hi Rebecca, I do have the Stretch concealer, I like it but don’t reach for it much…I guess I have others I like better. Probably what’s happening with you in regards to the foundation, you have others you already love. Idk if I’ll get this or not hmmmm
Totally. It’s just getting impossible for foundations to get me super excited about them. I agree with you
How to wash that brush w/out getting water inside the thing?
And it molding ick!!!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Right! I have the bronzer brush from CT that rolls down into the gold holder and wash it all the time maybe it's moldy inside! I just never roll it back down
@@reneegrace7965 haha. But that Charlotte brush makes more sense
I’ve never tried the concealer. I’m on the other side of the concealer spectrum, so it’s definitely not for me.
I guess it makes sense their foundation would be made for cream products on top, but if it’s difficult to blend powder on top, it’s not for me either.
The brush looks cute, but it’s too gimmicky and not really for practical use. Plus it looks like a pain to wash, too!
I’m sure there are people who will find these products to be their favorites, but they aren’t my cup of tea even a little bit.
Lisa, I think you really hit the nail on the head. There’s just something about the formula and the application and the cutesy brush that’s just not doing it for me even though the product had lovely performance.
Is the stretch concealer in a glass pot, Rebecca?😊❤
Yes indeed 💕
@NotFitforPrintBeauty Thanks so much, dearest!👍😊
Of course we moved our daughters to college trying the same foundation 😂
Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!! Did yours last too? And did it impress? See mine lasted but I was just like so uninspired by it. I have no idea why
With the concealer, maybe you’re not a fan of a potted concealer?! I know I’m not! Lol! I honestly have not tried anything from Glossier. It just never appealed to me. I’ll admit though, I was curious about this foundation. I think I’ll be skipping it for now. I like a more radiant finish also. It did look beautiful on you though! ♥️
Natalie, I think you make an excellent point. I like a concealer with a wand. I think that’s a lot of it. Usage. Very good point.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I’m even like that with color correctors/brighteners. If they are in a pot, I just can’t get into them! Give me one with a wand!! 😂😂
I think Glossier has been known for that ultra dewy no-makeup look for so long, we would expect the foundation to behave the same way. So seeing its more satin-natural finish that wears all day feels out of sync for us and thus not as appealing? Great review though!
Great thinking. Yes, yes. I can totally see that. You’re right. You expect a useful kind of youthful glowy almost balm application. Great point.
How old is your daughter Rebecca if I might ask? ❤
She is 19. A sophomore ❤️
I thonk the final look was beautiful on you. Very airbrushed look. Its probably not an everyday foundation. Maybe for
More special occasions. The concealer is a definite no. I hate pot concealers. I was never interested in Glossier. As others have stated. I
think its more for the younger set. My very mature skin will stick with Chanel, Dior and the like. Of course I loved the lipcolor, lipstick twin. Im anxious for your review on that.
Kathy! The lip color is so fun but the review keeps getting pushed for bigger releases. Darn it.
Morning Rebecca looking beautiful my friend always ❤😊 I'm still in bed 🛏 but I wanted to see 😊😅
Hello Tonya!!!
Hey! Maybe the texture you don't like, which is fair enough. 😉 xoxo
That must be it because, other than that, it held up so well!
I’m confused because if you think it looked and felt great what’s the real issue?
I think, as we've been saying in comments, it's not any different or more interesting than so many others that are just as good. Plus the powder over it doesn't go on well. It becomes underwhelming somehow in its simpleness. But, for others with super long hours at work, etc., it definitely does as promised.
I think the trouble is that it’s not exciting. It’s not reinventing the wheel, it’s been done before, it is essentially whatever. It’s a bit like ordering vanilla ice cream- it’s good, you get what you expect, but at the end of the day it’s vanilla ice cream. I’m hesitant to try glossier, I think I’m a touch too old for their target demographic, with skin concerns that aren’t covered up by their products. It’s hard for me, as someone over 30, to really associate myself with something that’s meant for teens and early 20s.
THIS!!!! Yep. This. Yes yes. This comment. This. Uh huh. Totally. It’s a giant bowl of vanilla ice cream. It’s cold. Yep. It’s tasty. Yep. It’s vanilla. Yep. But yeah, at the end of the day, it’s not like some exciting dessert. Yep.
That brush is, in my opinion, too gimmicky. Plus in my opinion it looks cheap. I was interested in this foundation until I saw Morgan Turner’s and now your review. She wasn’t thrilled by it either. As far as concealer, my 3 go to brands are the Dior, Cle de Peau stick and the Tom Ford stick. They just work. I do think the foundation looked nice on you. So far, with all of these releases I really haven’t found a new product I really adore. What I want is something magical.😂😂😂 Please know I really appreciate your honesty.❤
Hello Jan. I will have to watch Morgan’s review. The thing is, I can’t fault the foundation. It did everything it said. But I just didn’t feel beautiful in it somehow. I have no idea why. I actually feel a little bit better hearing that others have the same opinion. It’s just not an exciting foundation but, if you need something to stay the course, this would be it.
College daughter? You look like a baby yourself. I wouldn't have guessed it. Such youthful beautiful skin!
You are so sweet. I had her when I was 10 years old wink wink wink wink wink
Glossier is too cool to ship to Australia apparently so it’s a no from me.
Haha! Their loss!
I think the problem you have is SPREADABILTY? The foundation, the concealer and even the brush all fell short on application for this. It seems to be a trade off for having such a strong grip and being transfer proof. I also think that's why your powder blush felt... unwelcomed (?) when it tried to join the group. Sort of like the means girls table in the highschool cafeteria. 😂 Anyways, great review! I binged watched you today and am loving your content and vibe. Congrats on your daughter's next big step with college! My daughter is doing the same. How are you not crying? I am a sappy mess blinking back tears all week.❤
Yessssss. Haha. It’s the mean girls makeup table!!!! On Tuesdays we wear no powder blush!! Ha. I love it.
A pot concealer isn’t for everyone. The line drawing can be satisfying and miss-able. That concealer shade is the most horrible choice I think I’ve ever seen you try. The foundation is missing so many of the various ingredients that people can have trouble with so it seems like it could work for many.
Oh boy that concealer shade is a miss! Ha ha. It really is
I think something can be great in performance and fit the needs for others, yet individually may not be what we love or want. It doesn’t lessen it. It’s just not what we may be looking for.
I’m a nurse even with performance this isn’t appealing. For me I think it’s because it seems or the marketing for it is targeted for young adults/teens which just makes me less interested regardless of the performance. Power of marketing I suppose
I think you make a great point. I think they are trying to go a little bit older but we still think of them and their original kind of cloud paint glowing light coverage formulas. It’s just something about it just doesn’t pull us in. Exactly. Because this would be perfect for your needs and yet you’re not attracted to it. And frankly, it’s perfect for my needs and yet, somehow, I’m not attracted to it. So I think you make a very good point.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I can definitely say for myself I haven’t bought anything from Glossier, just because they in past or the marketing was really pointed at teens/young adults. So it’s always made me feel like I was going to buy something from the toy section. When I see women of all ages who use many of the products. It’s just not an exciting but I suppose for me.
I have seen many people ask why anyone would need a foundation to last 24 hours. I’ll say this, often in hospice as a nurse you work all day a normal schedule them take call 2-4 times a week. So many times I’ve worked 24 hours straight. Ultimately at 2 am call out I do want to look out together. Though I know we are in the minority of a day or schedule like that. I certainly see benefits in a foundation that could/can perform for 24 hours!
Sometimes we just don't like the way a product looks and feels. I think it probably isn't sophisticated enough for you. I know there is nothing about this that appeals to me even though it looks good on you. I think some products are fine but not worth the money . Love your channel and reviews.
Cindy! I think you’re right. Community member Michelle said that we are all a little bit spoiled by things like Chanel. And that must be what it is.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Yes, I think if you are going to pay premium prices it should look and feel expensive. Glossier looks like cheap drugstore stuff. I am sure the products are good but so are a lot of Essence and Milani. If the Packaging doesn't look any better then drugstore I will just buy the inexpensive option.

I could see the concealer wasn’t the greatest when you were applying it, for my mature under eyes I can tell it would be a disaster. I’m leaving Glossier to the youngins lol. Chanel has spoiled me.
Chanel has spoiled us all, michelle. You say it so well.
I am definitely not a fan of the brand anymore. Stretch concealer was the concealer for me. However, the product doesn't settle like it did before. Also, they reformulated the balms, and now they are terrible. So, I have no motivation or excitement when a new product from them launches.
Oh how interesting. When did the concealer change? Before this revamp or because of it? In your opinion?
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I would say that a year ago. After I bought my new pot (the 4th), I noticed that the concealer didn't have the consistency that it used to have. It was not stretch concealer anymore, but a little bit more waxy, and for me, it tends to accumulate in my lines, making them look even more pronounced. The concealer felt emollient but, at the same time, made my under-eye look dry in a very odd way. All this happened before the revamp.
I love your videos!
I believe it. Supply issues, etc. So it'll never be the same.@@gabrielaidania
